Brought my car in after being in an accident. Noel and Regan were extremely helpful and made everything go smooth. There were some small items I identified after getting my vehicle back, but they were all addressed promptly. Recommend this shop to anyone, especially Honda owners. Thanks again for your services.

CHRIS IWUH was a great help to me and my vehicle. Punctual , professionalism, and timelessness was shown during the time of my vehicle being in Gillman body shop. Chris answered all my questions, and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. And I would highly recommend Chris in the future for any body.

Wish i can give them 0 star. The worst body shop ever! They cant even do a simple paint job without bubble and nicks. I have to take my car back twice for them to align my door properly(argued with the manager(Daniel) for 20min). The manager admitted his tech. Make a mistake, but never apologize and didn't even want to accommodate a car loaner for me until i have to fight for it. 2nd time i went to pick up my car and the quarter panel(fender flat in near the door) of my car wasn't fix back to it original. And told me he cant do anything and wanna push over to the insurance to replace. His tech left paint all over inside my car door(rocky the estimator )tried so hard to take off some but still a left behind). My pinstripe not even even. The tech cant even put the part in properly together from the window part.

Gillman body shop was a pleasure to work with after I got over the intial irritation about the bill that's covered by insurance. Remarkably 8k of work in less than a months time. I feel positive about the outcome because I have been assured the work will be done right and is guaranteed

After a handful of issues with getting the body shop to actually start working on my truck. I received my truck back with parts that do not fit the truck properly. As well as parts that should of been added that were not!(was not given a new front license plate mount for front bumper) Please do not make the same mistake I did by using this awful body shop!!!! There is now a gap in the plastic and chrome bumbler that my whole hand can fit through!!!!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Very bad service! I select Gillman only because of it is Honda certificate, but the result of total messy management. The person responsible of my car never update information with insurance company. It is always me to push him to let the insurance company know update information. My rental will expired I need Gillman to update information with insurance, but the guy never answer my phone call, even left a message no reply . Sent email no reply! And tell me they don't have a loaner car. Never ever select Gillman Body shop!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had my car in for a month to change a door and a tire. After a month, I came back to have my door fixed, but didn t get my tire fixed or recorded; after two weeks waiting to get a call back to get a tire change.. I had to make the call (again) to finally get updates. I ll have to wait another week to get a tire change.Overall, poor customer service with no replies from the team. Additionally, missing information for a vehicle piece which is a safety hazard to others around you driving. I highly don t recommend this place.You will receive better communication & regards to your safety from another team.Service: Vehicle maintenance

This place has the worst customer service! It starts from the top with Daniel Sweeny who I was informed is the director. I contacted them about picking up my vehicle after I was told by Chris that as long as I have proof of payment he could release the vehicle. When I called a young lady answered the phone and I asked to speak with Chris. Before confirming who I was she immediately passed a message from Chris advising the proof of payment could not be accepted and that the payment was $20.00 short. This is a claim which was taken care of by a 3rd party in which was also explained at that time of getting the estimate. I offered to make the payment of $20.00 for the difference but the lady that answered the call (never provided her name) stated the manager wouldn t allow it. That didn t sit well with me so I decided to call back and speak with the manager, who at that time I was told was Daniel. Daniel s tone was very unwelcoming, condescending, and unprofessional. Daniel blamed me for all the miscommunication that his team provided me. He did everything but called me a liar. Basically all the information that was given by Chris and the lady on the phone was incorrect according to Daniel. I m usually the type of person that read reviews before patronizing a business but I clearly dropped the ball here. From my experience with Daniel it explains why they ONLY have a rating of 2.7 and they don t seem to be aiming to improve it. Daniel s only response was he would speak to his employees which is such a typical response that really means nothing will be done. But in reality someone needs to speak with him because the team is only as good as their leadership. There s a lot left to be desired about the leadership at Gillman Body Shop and as I stated at the very beginning it starts with Daniel Sweeny. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I would strongly suggest that you consider another place if you need repairs.Service: Body & Trim

In short, the worst thing that happened was the accident. The second worst was having my car repaired by Gillman Body Shop.Updated review, 2023-09-10: Rewriting this review because, nearly 3 years later, I am still finding things that were done wrong after having my car repaired at Gillman Body Shop.I had an accident back in January 2021. After leaving my car at the shop and having minimal communication for over 6 months, I received my car still visibly damaged and with a dead battery. The wheel on the driver's side rear was still the chewed up wheel from the accident, the tire was the damaged tire from the accident, and I was missing almost every body clip holding the trunk liner in and headliner. Got a new wheel and tire but the tire was the incorrect tire (an all-season instead of a matching summer tire that was on the other 3 wheels). Got that replaced and thought everything was fine.After driving for a while I noticed a crunchy/grinding noise coming from the passenger-rear wheel. I took this to Gillman Body Shop and had them do a sound diagnostics. The tech blamed it on the caliper slide-pins. I regreased the slide pins and still had a noise coming from the rear wheel. Insurance only covers 1 noise diag, so any future ones would be out of pocket. Since then I have replaced rotors, pads, and rebuilt the calipers. This grinding noise is still here nearly 3 years later and lead me to today's findings:My driver's side rear axle and hub are visibly bent. Also, not from today's discovery but earlier this month when I got an alignment, the upper and/or lower control arms are also still bent. I reviewed the invoice sent from Gillman Body Shop over to me and my insurance and found that all of the above parts were reused instead of replaced.Since my last visit I added new springs and sway bars, thus they voided my lifetime repair warranty they offer. So now I'm stuck effectively rebuilding my car the way they should have done it.Services: Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim, Welding, Battery

I will never come to this place again. Neal, never once called me to give me an update on my car. I had to call multiple times to try to get a hold of him. My vehicle has been in the shop and no one can give me any accurate information!!!!! He told me my car would be ready Friday. Here it is Tuesday and it s NOT ready. Horrible service. Do not bring your vehicle here !!!! After waiting 6 weeks this is how they returned my car !!!!!! Save your time .Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I chose this body shop because I ve personally had good experience with Gillman itself and getting my Jeep serviced there. I took my car here to get my windshield replaced and hood touched up because a gravel truck driving on the freeway caused some damages for me. Mr. Farrar was helpful in the process of getting my vehicle on it s way to be repaired and being nice enough to give me a ride home. I can understand they had to wait over a week to get my insurance approval first before they can start working on it. However, I ve been to other body shops before and it didn t take an additional 2 more weeks to get things complete. They literally told me the new windshield didn t come in until 1 day before my car was ready to be picked up. I am pretty sure they left my car sitting there that long to take care of other vehicles they felt had more damage and that they d profit more from. On the day I received a call from Daniel, I asked him if someone checked everything because I don t want to have to make another trip and he assured me that they did. When I get there, I notice my taillights had some sort of wax on it that wasn t coming off. They didn t even do a walk around with me to make sure I was completely satisfied before I left and just handed me the keys and go. They were able to get most of it off the first try but I had to make an additional 3rd time trip over there to get it completely removed. They didn t even give me the courtesy in calling me to let me know it was ready until I made a phone call. They just said it would be done sometime in the afternoon. This place definitely needs better communication with their customers and fellow employees and the employees in the body shop need better training in order to provide better quality service as well as focus on checking their vehicles upon completion.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I have been with the Gillman family for years. I have purchased cars for more than 30. The body shop is under the corporate umbrella of the Gillman companies and this the first non 5 star review. The main reason why they did not get 5 stars was I had to call several times to get updates. The service with GEICO insurance was pretty smooth. The work is excellent. So I would say 4.5 stars.

Cedric did an amazing job since day 1! Extremely professional and accurate on the information provided by phone. He explain to a great level of detail, the progress of the repairs to the car, the stages in which the car was and managed all of the insurance questions that the other insurer company had. Took car to body shop around 9/2. Took almost 3 month to get car back. No status updates from bodyshop. Have to call 3 or 4 times a week to check on status.Once get car get still have check engine light . Has been waiting over 2 weeks for bodyshop to submit supplements request to insurance.

IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER OPTIONS, PLS NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE. I had my new HONDA fixed here for hail damage. They did a great job on repairing the dints, but massed up on my windshield clips. They kept popping up no matter how hard I was trying to clip them on, so I went to this place again to see if they can help me fix it. The reception desk lady was very rude. She basically rolled her eyes when I was explaining what I was there for. After they checked my car, I was told that the clips needed to be replaced, but had to wait for the parts. They told me that they will call me when the parts are ready. I've been waiting for the parts and their call for more than three weeks so far. I called them twice to ask for the status and try to speak to the guy who checked my car, but was always told that he was busy, so I left a message for him to call back, but nobody called me back EVER. Also, the lady who picked up my call sounded like I owed her money and hung up the phone while I was saying THANK YOU. There's no customer service at all at this place, so if you have any other options to go, pls never go to this place.Service: Body & Trim

After getting my insurances approval on the body work, they decided to recalibrate my cars sensors without talking to the insurance company prior hand. I was then left with that portion of the bill which came out to $700 and when my insurance refused to pay for it they took my car hostage till I paid up. Don't think I'll ever do business with a Gillman establishment again.Services: Exhaust, Body & Trim

Worse experience with quality and customer services. It took them more than 10 months to finalize my car. However, they still didn't fix everything they have promised. I have to bring my car back so many times, with many promises to get it done, no loaner. Had an awful experience here, do not come here. I came here bause they were attached to Gilman Honda and I assumed they would do the job properly, which definitely wasn't the case. They changed my pick up date 4 times causing me to continue to try to get time off work to go pick it up, only for them to tell me it's not ready and it'll take another week. In total they had kept it for over 4 weeks.They scratched one of my windows and tried to replace it without me knowing by trying to match my tint and not telling me. They told me that it was scratched in the accident that my car was in, even though the scratch wasn't there when I gave it to them and when I got the original window back the scratch was on the inside, which could not have come from an accident.They didn't plug the reverse or tail light in after replacing the rear quarter panel which I found out a few days later. They also didn't put the inside of my door panel on properly so when I tried closed my door the entire door panel came off. Lucky I knew how to put it back on, but I shouldn't have had to.The final time they pushed my pick up date they kept my car for 4 more days because said they needed to make sure my alignment was fine and make sure everything looked fine. After the four days, my alignment was worse than when I gave it to them. And the places they repainted had drip marks that I had to wait again for them to fix.

They have had our vehicle for weeks already. Insurance approved it on the 22nd for them to start working on it and as of today they have not ordered the part. My husband has been trying to reach Jim/ Jimmy and now they are ignoring his calls. Very unprofessional. Now we are trying to get insurance to cancel this check so we can go somewhere else.Avoid this place if you can. It s been a bad experience all around. First they send an estimate to insurance and it doesn t even cover all the damage the vehicle had. Then they had to resend another estimate of the complete damage to insurance. Once we picked up the vehicle and took it home all the sensors stop working. We had to take it back to them and weeks gone by and still have not got our vehicle back!

So let's see what happens next.Will update .In treatment for breast cancer and these guys know this and have me drive there over and over I am not. Told Chris crv was making noises. He stated oh just tire pressure. Which he didn't do. . Had to get my bumper replaced - they fixed it within three days, buffed out some minor paint smudges and even managed to find a discount for me (I was paying out of pocket). Super helpful and understanding; reasonably priced for high quality work. I worked with Tailor and he was great every step of the way!

Nice people, but not very professional. I came here to repair the suspension. But after the repair: 1. I can still hear some weird sounds from the suspension. 2. The mechanic forgot to connect the cables in the door. I found that they forgot to connect the cable of the side mirror immediately, and they fixed that very fast. Very nice people! Then 2 weeks late, I found that they also forgot to connect the cable of the keyless lock. Be careful, PLEASEService: Steering & suspension repair

The customer service is not that great. They had my car for almost 2 months, with little to no updates. They did however do a fabulous job on the repairs.Daniel the manager is really accommodating, and is willing to do what it take to make the customer happy.

I dropped my car off after the representative said it would take 90 mins. When I got there he said it would take 6 hours and then called me later to tell me it wouldn t be ready until the next day. I get my car back finally and I look at the odometer and there is an extra 500 miles that I didn t put on there and there was no reason to test drive it at all because the part was just a side panel. Decent customer service terrible execution.

The body shop is not very professional. They have a very cheap quality of service. Also, the products that they use are off brand. I went to get my bumper fixed and had to go back four times. My bumper would be ok for a week or so and then I would have to go back again because the bumper would continously pop off. Everytime I would go in they would place the the blame on me saying that I did something. Also the manager Daniel is very rude and highly unprofessional and does not deserve the position. I have been a very loyal customer and have gotten like 6 cars from this place. This place has caused me to lose my trust in honda and therefore I will be boycotting honda.Service: Body & Trim

I had a great experience, aside from my car being in horrible conditions, Tailor was super helpful and always came through with any of my questions, my vehicle was fixed in no time! Like the accident had never happened. Great team! Everyone was super nice even the receptionist, she was super friendly! I highly recommend this shop to anyone! (I came in about a month ago or so)

My 2015 WRX needed to have the front bumper repair and headlight housing change. Daniel was the one that helped me and I have to say he is professional, spend his time listen to the client to get the job done right.
