These guys are the best. Took me on a little past 3 even though they close at 4 they still made sure I had my brakes & rotors replaced at a price I guarantee you won t get anywhere else. The last 2 shops I ve been to such as Christian Brothers and Transmission specialist racked me over the coal. Charging me $1,200 + on every job they ve serviced me on. With no warranty and within the same year my vehicle was worse. So b4 I go on for hours I ll end with this. There is no other place you need to go to besides here when you need your vehicle fixed for a third of the price any where else with a friendly and reliable service.

Just got some work done on my F150. Flakko let me know what the issue was and had it fixed by the next morning. I looked up the price of the fix according to Ford and thankfully it was nowhere near that price. Glad to see there are still shops around that do honest work and charge fair prices.

FRJ auto is the best, they do the best work and the prices are amazing. I wont take my car any where else. I bought one of my 6 car for an alignment and now i bring my entire fleet. If you need a great mechanic FRJ auto is the place..

I had my van in for service at the richey Rd shop Mr. Flako explained in great detail what was bad and other things that can wait its a first time in a long time that a mechanic didnt push more work i will continue to go to Frj Auto repair Mr.Flako"s shop God bless them all. 310 Richey Rd Houston Tx

I love FRJ... I've been a customer of theirs since 2016 w my 2004 Jeep GC, 2wd. They did the majority of work on it. I have an 01 now, same make and model, different trim... and I'll be visiting them to continue servicing my current vehicle and any vehicle in the future.

Flakko was awesome. He helped me track down freon leaks in both my truck and wife's car, replaced the whole front end suspension on my 98 GMC 1500, and fixed my back brakes, and alignment on both. I am so happy to have ac in both vehicles again and my truck has never driven this well. I felt the price was fair and their work was superb.

Came in at 9:15 AM and my car didn t leave their shop 3:00 PM. It took 6 hours to get a lug nut off my tire. I wouldn t trust these guys to do an oil change. Thankfully I didn t give this business a dime just a waste of my day. Took their driver all day to get a lug lock key from the south west and only 10 minutes for them to get the lug off. Again, wouldn t trust these people to fill my tires with air. Might take em 4 hours.

I ve brought all of my cars here for the last 3 years (I have five) and Flako is always honest and courteous when I come in his knowledge is second to none and he always makes sure I come out in a functioning car if he can help it. Super fast, very professional. Business is legit and they work with you. Dude I had my wife s whole engine replaced in like a week or less. They re my go-to for everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you re in Houston! These guys are amazing! We were told we needed a new engine and it would cost us $9,000. We took our car to them. They quoted us just over $6,000. Then, they called us back very excited. They said, "We checked out your truck and you don't need a new engine, yet. We can fix it." They told us what they needed to do and we ended up paying around $1,500. We were so grateful! They truck runs better than before. We take all of our vehicles to them and we never have to bring them back. They do what they say they're going to do with no shady business. We can trust them.

Definitely a shady mechanic shop. Overpriced and ruined my clock springs for fun. Had an alignment said things were very loose wanted more for alignment bolts? My horn doesn't work now or my stereo controls which worked before. Avoid this place is bad mechanics that that take advantage.** Update response. I am aware I had the bolts your shop wanted to charge twice the price even though it would being it closer into factory alignment. I then put the factory ones back in and what do you know it wasn't even close to being aligned. I got no sheet stating the camber or caster of anything, and the horn and buttons on the steering wheel stopped working meaning the clock spring was broken which it was not before I took it to your shop.Paid cash of course and got a receipt just stating alignment and my back wheel was still crooked. Car is gone now but, really trying to cover your a$$ after 6 months later? Lame

I like to go here to get my car repaired. I ve been like 5 different times to this place. Probably took 3 cars. Every issue was fixed and I never had any problems with my cars and or pickup truck ever again.Prices are fair and turn around is quick!!I always deal with FLAKO. He is a cool guy!!!

If you are African American do not bring your vehicle to this establishment on 310 w Richey Rd Flako the assumed manager will take advantage of you and steal your money without first fixing the problem.I ve brought my vehicle here two times and the first time I gave them the benefit of doubt,but the second time around I allowed them to work on my vehicle the problem reoccurred less than 2 weeks later,however when I took it back for them to fix what they were supposed to already fixed,Flako the man at the desk was very nonchalant and rude and demanded another $150 to rediagnose something that he already knew was the problem and I refused,not realizing he had not given me a receipt of payment the last time I had to take the loss,be aware of his game,MAKE SURE YOU GET A PAPER BILL OF PAYMENT FROM THEM BEFORE YOU EXIT THEIR BUSINESS,or you will be taking a loss ..these people are white collar thieves Be Alert!!Do not take your car here!!

These guys have been servicing my vehicles for five or six years now. Flaco is my go-to guy. I've had suspension work, engine light diagnosed, a/c work done, alignments, brakes, filters, oil changes, and more. Those fellas are professional, respectful, and honest. Great place to take your car! I've been taking my cars to FRJ exclusively for years; since the dealership tried to rip me off. They've changed out a radiator, head gasket, even an engine. All good work at fair prices.

I highly upset! I did not like the experience I had with this business. I trusted this auto shop with my car. After receiving my car the first few days everything was working fine until my brakes were making noises from the driver side every time I would be backing out and I texted the mechanic letting him know and he received me and fixed it. LEGIT the next day I had the same issue once again but this time on the passenger side and I texted him letting him know again! this time he ignored my texts and never bother to reach out. I went to another mechanic and they fixed his mess and to find out he made another mistake that could've risked my life while driving. Never coming to this auto shop!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

This could've just been a bad day for them based on the other reviews. I had no issue with the alignment service that I received. It was brought to my attention that my hubcap on one of my tires fell off during the servicing of my vehicle so I asked if I should get a new one for them to install and whoever it was on the phone said they would pop it back on for free since it was only one needing to be replaced. I went to auto zone and came back with the new hubcap and I was told by someone else that they would charge me $50 because it took time out of their day. What was really happening is that whoever told me this on the phone about the free installation did not communicate to the worker I was speaking to. Regardless, there is a way you handle things that a customer brings to your attention without making it seem like the customer is lying or trying to get over on you, so at that point I decided just to pay for my alignment and get someone else to put the hubcap on for free. This was definitely a missed opportunity to go above and beyond in service and this lowered my initial good impression with them.Service: Wheel alignment

My experience with FRJ has been Good.Flako who works at FRJ is Very Professional. I Thank him for his Honesty with the Issue that was wrong with My 2017 Toyota Camry SE recently. FRJ's part prices & servicing time are very reasonable. Because of Flako I will return again for future service for My Vehicle.Within the last 3yrs my previous vehicle I owned, FRJ serviced and I was pleased then as well.God Bless Flako and Fellow Mechanics at FRJ.

These dudes are not serious. Got my tire plugged here and the next day that very tire was flat on the ground so I get enough air in my tire just to make it to them and this dude is gonna tell me they ve started charging 50 dollars just to check tires. Never in my life heard a shop say something so idiotic.Service: TiresService: Tires

Love this shop. I own a small business and put many miles on my trucks. This shop is always there for me and do a great job. This last visit they saved me $500 easily compared to other local shops.This shop will be going places if they keep up the customer service.

No matter what I ask these people to do they always have a friendly service and I love it they help me in all things. Sometimes I listen in at different customers and they're getting the same love I'm getting great place you haven't tried them be my guest worth it

I had an issue with a trailer tire they repaired... when I was finished I asked if they did alignments they said yes ... got that done ... my recommendation is to hang out on the leather couches because the cloth ones aren't really comfortable...

I've been a customer for the past 2 years and i cannot complain. These people focus on performing an excellent job. The overall appearance of the place is not their main focus but their job is. Thank you flako and Francisco for performing greatly and always giving me a better price than any other shop i've been to

Flako took care of my car today, he was very polite, professional, and courteous.. For all of this summer my car a/c has not been cooling , making me very uncomfortable, but now I am happy it is now working .I will definitely come back again! Thanks again Flako, awesome job !

The work was done in the time frame given, for the price expected. They explained what they did and informed me of the cause of another unrelated issue I was having after the fact without pressure to add the work. Much appreciated straight forward and painless repair service.

I've been taking my vehicle here for oil changes and repairs since the old place. Flaco always gives me options and the price is fair. Very honest and great service.
