I always take my Jaguar to the dealer. Franks service was integral and he even identified ways for me to save money. I have never gone to a mechanic shop because I was afraid of them being dishonest, but I will bring my car here if it ever needs service again. My car was fixed within 2 hours the same day( only because they had to wait for the part to arrive), it s driving like brand new and he didn t charge me an arm and a leg. Thank you for your honest service! I ve already recommended them to others!!

Pulled up to get a state inspection. I have literally been sitting here for 15 min. The mechanics keep looking at me but not once have come to ask for my service request. The sign on the outside clearly states Employees Only, Do Not Enter. What happen to good service? If this is any indication on how your performance will be on servicing someone s car, it s a hard pass for me. Thanks but no thanks. Let me go somewhere where my business would be greeted and appreciated.

I would recommend Frank s Automotive to anyone! As a single female, I dread having auto work done. But Jorge and Sergio made sure I was comfortable with the entire process. I had a vehicle that had been sitting and not driven for almost two years. They were patient with me as I asked all my questions. They were always respectful and professional. They explained all things in detail and took their time to ensure that all issues were resolved. They didn t try to upsale me and their prices were more than reasonable. My wife and I have been bringing our car here ever since the mfgr. Warranty ran out. She used to bring her cars here before we met.To make a long story short, my wife was leaving work yesterday when the alternator up and died on her, and she only got two blocks before the battery died from no alternator.I arranged for a tow truck to pick up the car from where she was and had the car towed to Frank's.Jorge called her first thing this morning and they had already replaced the alternator for her, and at a much better price than the dealership would have charged. We saved $$$$$ by going here, even with her having to take an Uber home and we took one back to go get the car today. They also recharged the battery for us while they were working on the car.Frank, Jorge and the rest of the crew are always nice to us and the prices are always very fair compared to other shops.We'll keep being our vehicles here for service when needed.Don't know about the 1 star reviews when I've NEVER seen a reason to leave one for Frank's.Fast service, fair prices and great attitudes amongst all. Can't ask for more than that!.

Today I had my spark plugs changed and as usual my service is always impeccable. I have been to going to Frank's for over 4 years and no matter what vehicle ( BMW, Benz, Camry, Infiniti) I have had they always take care of my vehicle with the best service. The price is always right. Like my daddy would say " she pur like a kitten". I love the way my car drives : smooth, quiet, and a little more power. Not to mention as a courtesy they even cleaned my throttles and checked other things to make sure my car was A-1. I am forever a customer. i recommend Franks because you wont be disappointed.

Been taking my vehicles there for many years to get them inspected. There were a couple of times when I didn't pass but I took care of the problems myself to get them to pass inspection. The guys there have always been courteous and I never have to wait very long at all.

If you need a trustworthy mechanic, Franks is the only place to go.Not over priced and absolutely great with all direct repairs. Been a loyal customer almost 10 years. Like a family to me.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!! This week my car stopped on me and I needed a foreign repair near by for a diagnostic check. I was pretty sure it was related to my coils or something electrical. My epc light came on and this only confirmed my suspicion. I called the next day for their opinion. These people really had the nerve to tell me that I needed to replace my entire engine system for 4K. Mind you my car did not smoke or have a foul smell, no warning signs of a bad engine at all. Then when I went to pick up my vehicle , one of the guys had the nerve to ask to purchase my 30k car for 5k, how insulting. I took it to 2 other places for opinions and guess what as expected it is my engine coils. Wow I m glad I m not dumb or they would have gotten over on me. I took my truck here because the BBB had zero complaints, within 3 years, for this establishment. I would think 3 or 4 complaints per year are good. I had a very good idea of what was wrong and had gotten several quotes in the area. Frank's was as reasonable as the rest and was honest in giving me the same diagnosis that I had suspected (yet never gave them). His shop is clean and organized, which is a good tell-tale sign. He made sure I was kept abreast of the repair status. His workers are friendly. I would go here again.-------------- 03/34/2008Went back again a few months later to have my Acura's brakes, water pump, and timing belt replaced. His quote was the cheapest by $150, from two others, and he used new parts. I definitely like this place and Frank's professionalism.

I had gone there because Honda, during an airbag recall, had told me that the control bushes needed to be replaced and wanted a fortune to do the repair. Frank's checked them out and told me that nothing was necessary. They could have taken my money but did not. That's called integrity!

I received a quote for $200 for brakes so I approved the work. Then when I came to pay they said oh no that was per brake set and there are two sets so it s $400. The dealer cost less than that and the highest end breaks at autozone are $60... That s an outrageous markup for a hole in the wall mechanic especially when a simple job took several days. I am unlikely to be back.

Met the owner through my girlfriend a few years back and have only been bringing my cars here ever since. From my Porsche to my Lexus to my Yaris they can fix anything. Great, honest service and good people.

I DO NOT recommend this shop at all. I never write any reviews on certain businesses but given the fact of my troubling experience at Franks i felt compelled to write my review of this shop. My bmw was taken to this place for airflow censor and oil change. Long story short, when i picked it up a week later, wich is odd for just an oil change and air censor, my radiator had been replaced with another one. Frank himself told me that the radiator might need replacement knowing damn well he had replaced it with a another one. Do not take your car unless you want your car picked out for parts.

Took my Range Rover here. The owner personally worked on my vehicle saving me hundreds of dollars from what other quoted mechanics quoted me. One month later as I write this review I am still pleased to have found them and plan to send everybody who wants a reputable mechanic. Excellent customer service, polite and dependable!!

I started going to Frank's about a year ago and this place is awesome. The prices are always reasonable, typically the car is ready the same day, but even more valuable than all those things just said is, honesty. I have complete trust in Frank to replace only what needs to be fixed.

Had to wait 2 hours and half before they even touch my car. They charged me 130$ for a four wheel alignment, on my first visit his mechanic screwed over my car. He was supposed to do the alignment but he even didn't touch my left tire. There was a nut that was supposed to get fixed, it seems it was hard to loosen that so he completely ignored it. I had to come back a week after to get my car fixed. They cut the nut, put a new nut and said the alignment is okay now. My car had not changed at all when I drove it after. Not only my car problem didn't get fixed, Now I hear the squealing noise from my right front tire. When I brought my car to him and asked him to fix the issue, he started to yell at me. My car is totally pulling to the right, but he and his mechanic saying its normal it's because of the slope of the road and it's for your own safety. Like I haven't driven anycar yet.I had to argue with him for half an hour so he can drive my car to see what I am talking about, and finally he said if I drive it I will charge if i think the car is ok!!!!Don't waste your money going to him. He definitely doesn't know how to take care of your car problems and when you want a response he throws his pen and start yelling at you.

I have brought my BMW here for 6 years now, and between Frank and Sergio, they keep it running great. Service is good, prices are fair, and I know they will go out of their way to make sure every customer is treated well.

I have been in Houston for two years now and I wish I could have found out about Frank's Auto a lot sooner. The level of professionalism is like no other shop that I've been to in Houston. I felt very welcome there and Frank gave me some free icecream as well :) It's good to know that they are good genuine people in Houston. I would recommend Frank's Auto to any one that's looking for good, honest, and professional mechanics that do their job in a timely manner. I rate Frank's Auto an A++ and keep up the good work!

I took my Acura here for repairs and I must say I am more than pleased with the results. Not only was the work done satisfactorily, the customer service is AWESOME!!! This by far was the best auto repair experience I have ever had. I will be using them for all of my automobile needs. I couldn't have asked for better. GO SEE FRANK!!!

At first, I was little skeptical when I found Frank's shop through google review, and I decide to take a shot. I went there for car inspection and Frank was very nice and patient to all my questions. I have been to many auto shop, but Frank was the first one that really impress me. Over all, I really have great experience with Frank.

Horrible - Only the Old Reviews are Any Good - This place must have changed ownership or management because it is the worst shop I have ever been too.... They called the Cops on me because I was upset that they swindled me out of alot of money...These guys are just wrench turners that charge like they are certified mechanics - i doubt any of the mechanics there have any real certifications for working on German or other Foreign Cars...DO NOT GO TO FRANKS AUTO FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC AUTO REPAIR ON ANTOINE = MANAGER IS JORGE - DONT THINK HE HAS EVER BEEN A MECHANIC BUT RUNS A REPAIR SHOP -- -- TOTAL JOKER!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Found these guys online - had ok reviews and were close so decided to give them a try - ive had bad experiences with mechanics so i try to go through reviews as much as possible .... reviews looked ok so sent my BMW to Franks - Big Mistake...Was lied to about scope of job - charge more money to do work that was not needed - they created more issues and the car has a bigger oil leak then when i brought it in -Suspension parts they installed make noises when turning - oil is leaking - check coolant light and ABS light are now both onChoosing mechanics is tough and when they start out a relationship with a lie to make more money then its a definite 1 star - wish i could give them zeros...offered me nothing to make things right and has HPD on speed dial to kick out any upset customers.... buyer beware - do not use franks foreign and domestic auto repair on Antoine.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

Aside from being polite and very reasonably priced, I have visited frank's shop enough over the years to have witnessed and observed an excellent auto 'mechanic'; (not to be confused with 'technician'). a technician is one who connects a computer to a car to diagnose a problem (although that is also done here with newer cars... on many occasions, i have witnessed frank correctly identify a problem with older vehicles as they drive into the parkinglot! - THAT is a true sign of an excellent mechanic!

They did my fuel pump assembley and my truck started right but the next day my truck was driving funny normaly it picks up fast but it was not it felt like it was pulling back and the day after that my truck stop running it would not cranck at all. So i bought a battery cause i thought that was it cause i tried to bost my truck but wouldnt keep a bost so i had a real Machanic to look at it and it was my fuel pump.... Let me tell you the reason i go to an auto shop is to make surw my truck is rite. I dont know much about vehicles but i do know that him as a Machanic suppose to ask are suggest that i need are did i change fuel filter they suppose to check that but didn't. I payed $225 for my truck to work for two days. I think he did it on purpose cause i bout my owen car parts so he quickly told me that the part can be defective but i feel like he got over on me cause im a woman that dont know much about vehicles. They just seen a young woman want her vehicle fixed . PLEASE GO TO SOME ONE THAT KNOWS THERE WORK AND LOVE THERE WORK. FRANK AUTO IS A RIP OFF !! Now gotta spend more money for there mess up
