I really like the mechanic, but I brought two cars in. Within a few days I needed to bring both cars in again. One of them hasn't had trouble again. However, I can't bring cars in and then need to come back right after. Especially multiple times in a row.

The owner is an expert mechanic and his wife is very sweet working in the office. They fixed my f150 and my Camry for me. This is the best mechanic in Houston.

Buyer beware !!! First time in to Fixers. Awful experience . Took my car in for a repair. Tarfin said he found the leaks replaced a couple of valves and I paid him 385.. three days later, no cold air. Took back to him that day, he said come back next week. I took car this am. He said there must be leak elsewhere, I asked for a credit for what i.paid one week ago. I even offeredi t o pay him for valves and freeon. the ac is not repaired and he refuses to credit meService: A/C installation & repair

Fixers Automotive is a local family owned automotive shop that I recommend to everyone in the Houston area. They are the nicest people ever who did my oil change and tire rotation very quickly and did a perfect job. I will definitely be coming back for any other car related issues I have. You cannot beat their prices either for the quality of work!

I came here to have a flat fixed on a holiday early morning when everything else was closed. He had me in and out so fast! Very nice gentleman, fast great service. Highly recommend.

Tarfin is the most competent, most reliable, fastest, most honest, friendliest mechanic I have ever known in Houston or elsewhere. I don t take my cars anywhere else. Today I dropped off a car at 3 and he was done fixing it at 6 for as much as it would ve cost just to get a diagnostic anywhere else. With Tarfin I ve never had any of the bad experiences typical with mechanics (long waits, upcharges, surprises, poor workmanship, poor communication, etc.). My little Audi suddenly started overheating one morning on my way to work and I had to quickly take my car to a mechanic. I pass by the shop every morning and took a chance. I'm glad I did as the owners were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. My internal water pump broke and was changed with an all metal version for better durability. Very happy my car hasn't had any further cooling issues as this was months ago. Support local businesses!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Came in with a check system charging light on, and the problem (new alternator needed) was diagnosed and taken care of by the next day. Exceptionally nice people, and very honest and fair price. Will be using them exclusively going forward!

Can't give an estimate over phone because he doesn't know what needs to be done. I told him exactly what needs to be done it's a basic service check up and oil change. He just repeated the same thing. Ridiculous. Answers the phone "yeah". Learn customer service you're losing business.

Just took my older, high mileage van here for an oil change and lightbulb replacement. What a wonderful experience! They were honest, priced fairly, prompt and did not oversell me on things I didn t need!I will definitely be returning! Mr. Fixer & his Wife are sooo kind and compassionate and GOD fearing. I went to get a flat fixed and GOD's perfect plan sent me there for a reassuring Word! I Love JESUS and so do they! (BTW - tire fixed in a jiffy and checked the others too)

Limped into this shop with a flat tire. Really didn t have any other options. He spent 30 min trying to find the hole and fixed the flat. He then asked for a ridiculously low amount. I insisted on paying him twice what he asked for. Literally the best experience I ve ever had with someone working on my car. Super nice guy to boot.

Fixers has been my exclusive mechanic for the past 7-8 years. They are very accurate, and detailed. Most of all, I trust them. I will miss Fixers for my automobile services. Thank you for seeing to my car on my very last visit before getting on the road to leave Houston. Took my car to get a drive axle fixed, and the work is good, but he neglected listen to me when I told him I was certain there was more internally wrong with my car. He failed to check the rest of the front end, which needs sway bar links, lower control arms, inner and outer tire rods, has a broken transmission mount, and 2 broken motor mounts. While I'm satisfied with the work he did at the price he did it at, I'm really disappointed that he didn't feel the need to either check my front end, nor tell me what else was wrong with my car. I will not be going back to this shop.

Happy I stopped this morning. I had an ABS light on that I needed to have repaired before making another long drive, so I decided to stop by our neighborhood shop. The diagnosis was made before noon and oe parts were used for the repair, which I had back the same day! Then the price was very reasonable. I was also told of another issue I would need to get repaired soon, which I was expecting, but just hadn't found a trustworthy shop to take it to. Also, driving a white vehicle, it always bothered me when I picked it up from a shop and greasy fingerprints were on the hood and doors...........can't they see that.I can. Not the case here. I will be back.

Tarfin kept my last car running well over 200,00 miles. My current car is at 140,00 and still running well. Trustworthy and very fair. The only place I take my car, and it has been the only place since 1996 when I moved to Houston.

This is the best mechanic in Houston. I don't go to anyone else. I take my Bmw and my Chevy and my Ford there. He can do it all and he is very thorough.

Great guy! Clean garage with fast service and always has time to answer questions. Cheaper than most and really interested in taking care of his clients.
