My recent visit to Eric s Car Care was one of the best experiences I ve had at an auto repair shop. First the communication was A+++. As a woman there s a stigma around going to the auto in fear of being taken advantage of but Eric s Car Care staff took that fear away. I received detailed information regarding the repairs needed and I received a call every step of way. Second, the turnaround time was great even considering it was Easter weekend.

I have been going here for over 2 years now and the service is ALWAYS exceptional. Manny Chavarria and his team are honest about repairs. I feel my vehicle is safe when I drop it off during the day and they are done with the service on time. Very polite people, clean establishment. Thank you for GREAT customer service!

Took my 11 yo Escalade to Eric s for the first time last week. Was very impressed with the service I received. I was told by two different Houston Cadillac dealerships that they could not work on my car because it was too old and could not get parts. Eric s made the necessary repairs in 2 days and the car drives better than it has for years. Eric has acquired a lifelong client.

A different mechanic told me that I had to replace my brakes and rotors but I wanted a second opinion. I went to this location and the front desk attendant and a mechanic helped inspect it. They verified that it did not have to be changed. It was a quick and easy process. They also replaced my brake light without hesitation. It's hard finding a trusted mechanic but they get 5 stars after going above and beyond to help me.

They were great! I found them through a recommendation from my cars extended warranty carrier. My car had some type of leak that was causing the engine to run hot. The only person I spoke with was NOA who works at the front and he was great! I m so grateful that the universe led me his way because he really made sure I was Taken care of and updated at every step along the way. For him, he may have just been doing his job like any other day, but for me he truly offered me a peace of mind. My car was there for a total of like 2 business days. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone!

First time with mechanic other than dealer my girlfriend uses for her Toyota and of course they take her pocket book for a ride. They immediately found the exact same issue the dealer did but confirmed that it was not emergent. Also quote for repair was 500 less than 1500 dealer quote. Oil change tire rotation and coolant flush about 300 less. Had pics of issue and explained why it wasn t emergent but did need to to get done soon. Trying to say pricing was better and I felt they were honest. Will definitely be back

Having to go to a mechanic because your car is making horrible noises is never fun, but I feel these guys went above and beyond to make it the best possible experience.Anthony helped me at the front end and communicated with me regularly throughout the process to make sure I was up to date on how things were going. I was sent pictures with arrows clearly pointing out the problem areas (which I greatly appreciated, since I wouldn t consider myself super familiar with the undersides of a car), and a detailed list of what they were planning to repair and the exact cost of each. Anthony then called me to go over some questions I had about some items on the list, and explained them in a way that was easy to understand.They also called me a complimentary Lyft to get home after dropping off, which I was very grateful for and it took away that added stress of trying to get home without a car. I ve had my car back for about a week now, and it has been running perfectly. I ll definitely be returning for any future repair needs! Thank you to Anthony and to the techs who got me safely back on the road!

Mannie with Eric's car care-Houston Medical Center was A Blessing! I brought my car here because it was running hot with a check engine light. From start to finish Mannie made sure I was in the BEST hands. He was very confident and assured me he would do the best he could with the warranty I had. He took my car in and even ordered me a lyft home !! He updated me every step of the way, instructed me on how to get a rental through insurance, and told me what was likely to happen before it happened and BADA BING BADA BOOM, my car was fixed.Not to mention, on a Friday he stayed later and ordered me a lyft back to the shop to ensure I got my car because I wouldn't make it before they closed & they would be closed through the weekend . Overall great experience, Thanks again mannie, a blessing. I'll be back!SN. Snacks are

I was a loyal customer but it is clear they were taking advantage of me all along. Be ready to spend at least twice as much than any other place. I got an estimate for all the parts that I needed at an autoshop and they were only $400 yet they wanted to charge me $3,000+ at this place. Even considering the labor that is not reasonable.

It is a very reliable and safe place to go for your car service. Even though a lot of businesses were closed that day, because of the hard freeze Eric s Car took care of my car on time and made sure it was safe for my daughter to drive. They also took their time and explained all the details about the work needed to be done.

I bought a pre-owned car a couple months ago, and since the beginning I've been having some issues, especially with the break. I decided to bring my car to Eric's after seeing the reviews. They did a thorough inspection in my car (I also asked to see some other issues that were not that bothersome), they didn't charge a dime, and were really honest about what needed to be done and if it was an emergency or if I could keep driving like this, and plan to change it in the near future. As someone who doesn't understand much about cars, I felt extremely satisfied with their honesty. The price they quoted was really fair, matched my expectations. Will surely be coming back whenever I need it again. Highly recommend it.

This has been my very best experience with a car repair/service business. The complimentary review of my car by Eric's outlined all the repair/maintenance items which needed to be addressed and detailed the cost for each line item. I had the option to select what I wanted repaired based on my priorities and/or financial circumstances.After reviewing the list, and comparing it to my car's maintenance schedule and the noticeable problems I was having with it, I could see that there weren't any unnecessary items on the list. No price padding at all.I'm not considering trading in my car as it runs great now and I feel confident driving it on these crazy Houston roads.

Called in Roxanne answered the phone and proceeded to inform me that you have to pay 120$ to have a certified technician run a diagnostic. She then caught an attitude when I told her I m not paying 120$ to get a quote, and argued with me weather or not having a technician run a diagnostic Is the same thing as a quote. I also told her from the get go I already knew the water pump is bad because I ran the code. Roxanne needa go.

On 10/19/2023 at 2:40pm I came in to this mechanic shop *after* I had visited another mechanic that was very blunt with me and that had given me a price quote that I found alarming.So I stopped by at this mechanic for a second opinion. As soon as I walk into the door I was greeted by Noe and his blonde co-worker(I should have asked his name. From his face alone, he *looks* like he would be named Chad). They were patient enough to hear out my rambling concerns and a Hispanic guy(should have asked his name too) even came out and told me how I could finance my repair cost, as I was unable to afford them currently.Therefore... I've come to the conclusion that these employees are androids. That or they have a terrifying boss that's forcing them to act that way. They're way too friendly to be normal workers. Something fishy is going on. I'm onto you guys...

I called Eric's from the road telling them that my car just felt off when starting it. I was going out of town the next morning and didn't want to drive it feeling this way. They got me right in and diagnosed my auxiliary battery was going out. They did not have any in stock and said they ordered one. Instead of taking 24 hours, they drove to pick up the battery and my car was ready to go the same day!! They are AMAZING!!!Services: Auto engine tuning, Battery

Great service! Went in for oil change, tire rotation, transmission fluid change, and a/c repair, and they even installed a new engine splash guard I had brought in free of charge since they were changing the oil anyways. My transmission is working as it should and so is my a/c! They were kind and did all this work in just over a couple hours while I waited. Will be going back for anything I need!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Tire rotations, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I have been using Eric's Car Care since 2010 for all my auto maintenance and repairs. I have always found them to be honest, straightforward, and courteous. They do solid work and charge reasonable prices.
