I've been coming to Ella Auto Care since 2015. They've done my car's inspections and fixed my car when I had an engine problem back in 2016. I recently took my car again since my engine light came on, and Pedro (i believe that's his name) got it inspected it and realized there was nothing wrong.He was very polite and professional and explained to me why sometimes check engine lights come on. They are very honest people. I've never had a problem coming here. I will definitely keep coming back. Thank you!

Stopped by for an Inspection, took me right away. Didn't take more than 15 minutes. Friendly and quick. Set up appointment for future car repairs.Update: Told me they would fix my car...left messages on voice-mail and email...never got back with me so updated my review.

Amazing quick service! I left Jiffy Lube down the street after being told the wait for an inspection was an hour and a half. They immediately got me in and did my inspection in less than 15 minutes. The man who helped me was very kind and helpful. Will be back!

Honest, helpful & friendly guys to deal with. I got my inspection sticker completed within 10 mins of walking in with no appointment. James (the owner) seemed very knowledgeable & refreshingly genuine when I quizzed him on another vehicle related service. Straight up telling me I didn't need the extra work completed rather than taking advantage of me puts this shop miles ahead of others. Will recommend to others and revisit when I need to.

Don't be fooled by the exterior. I was expecting there to be no air-conditioned waiting area and for the shop to be run by one of those curmudgeon-y mechanics that mutter at you when you walk in the door and make you feel like you're in their way for giving them business. Not at all the case! Interior waiting area with AC that smells clean, personable, friendly and fast service. I was very pleasantly surprised. I just went for my state inspection because it was nearby, but I'll definitely be back for service and will update my review as I have more services done at Ella Motors.

Everyone looks for an "honest" mechanic, and I can definitely tell you this is the place, even more honest than a mechanic family member I have. This might be the second review I have ever left any company anywhere, which should say something. I have sent my wife here, my coworkers and friends and everyone has said the same thing. Yes the interior is a bit disorganized, it is an auto shop, but really who cares. They will never tell you something needs fixed that doesn't, and will never rip you off. My wife's car was making considerable amount of engine noise and they replaced what they thought might be contributing to the problem. The noise did not go away, so they took the part back off, replaced it with the original and charged me NOTHING! James, the owner, I think I saw his name referred to in another review refused to accept my money. He advised a more thorough examination would be needed to get to the bottom of it, but personally and honestly advised me on another path that gets him no revenue. I wish I could rate them higher. I will always send everyone I know to these people. This is the only auto shop I have ever been to where they will not pressure you into a bunch of other repairs that may or may not be needed. They will honestly level with you and they are cheap! Thanks guys, and I hope your "other projects" is opening more locations because this city needs more shops like this!

Went here a while ago and I'm only just getting around to a review.Backstory: I've been getting my oil changed at the dealer since I've had a car (~2 years) but my friend talked me into going into an auto repair shop. Ella was my first go.Initial impression was a little rough, its a bit of a mess inside. If you are looking for coffee bars, tvs, and all sorts of frills then this is not your place. HOWEVER, they don't need those things here because instead of waiting for 2 hours to get your oil changed they have you in and out in about 15 minutes. Very impressive!Everyone that worked there was very nice. I also overheard the owner, James, on the phone with another customer, he had just finished repairs on her car and offered to pick her up, drive her back to the shop, then she could pay and leave. I don't know the full story behind that, but he didn't mention any charges. Some impressive service!Bottom line: No nonsense, straight business place. If you're looking for frills skip it, come instead for great service and no BS

James and his staff are great. I had an exhaust system installed, and though they ran in to more issues than planned, they stuck to their originally quoted price and got it finished. It is rare to find someone who is honest and doesn't BS you these days, and as a result I won't go to anyone else.

Support this local! He s great!This guy has a great reputation with my friends, so I thought I d give it a go. It was so simple, he performed the service and I left within 15 minutes. Super appreciate the work ethic, efficiency, and no nonsense approach.Thank you!

NEVER AGAIN. I've been to this location several occasions. They're staff is friendly enough but the expertise is very hit and miss depending on who you get. I used to go to this location b/c it's near work to get oil changes. One fateful day after a "quote/unquote" oil change I was driving my car and it started making a funny noise. Turns out whomever they had working on my change, changed the filters but didn't actually replace it with oil (bone dry). I thought it was an innocent mistake and changed the oil myself that day. About nine months later, the very same thing happened! Only this time, the very next day after this "oil change" my engine sustained damage from driving around with no oil. I haven't been back to this place since.

Ella Auto Care is up front and their prices are honest. I went to several shops for an estimate on a quick A/C recharge and everyone was trying to charge me an arm and a leg, even though I already knew the problem and already knew the solution. Having prior work experience in a Mechanic shop, I know when I'm being hassled and overcharged. The Mechanic was friendly, honest and got me in and out in a timely manner. I would recommend Ella Auto Care to anyone.

Went for an oil change had a young man do it. Funny guy, he knew what he was doing. Great staff! Went for a donut next door by the time I got back he was done. Did I mention I did this during lunch time? Good service! I'll be coming back!

Got recommended to go to this place a year or so ago for a couple issues with my older car. They were very fair and honest and even offered to do some extra services at a fair price that I was initially holding out on b/c I was on the fence about getting a new car. I've been a customer ever since.Although I have a new truck now, I had an issue with my car engine seemed to be dying and the temperture on my dashboard seemed hot. My engine actually seemed like it was smoking and was going to give out. I was literally scared to death that it would break down at any second. After numerous calls to the dealership and them offering to send a tow truck out in two hours and sitting in the rain, I decieded to rough it to Ella, which was only 5 minutes away from where I was at.They found out that it was a loose spark plug, put it back in place and didn't charge me a cent. Even gave me a cup of coffee and chatted with me awhile, while they went ahead and diagnosed the rest of the car to make sure that was the only issue before I risked it back into the rain to try to drive home.When the dam warranty and maintenence agreement for the Truck expires, I won't go anywhere else, but here.

James changed out my stock springs with a lowering kit changed my worn out struts, and replaced the mounting parts while I was on vacation. I brought him all the parts and he went right to work. I got excellent results.

Pedro is such a sweetie..Ge explains what is going on with your vehicle as if you were doing the job. Pedro gets the job done. I would suggest Ella Auto Care to EVERYONE! I have sent ar least 7 people to Ella Auto Care and they LOVED it!

Brought my car here to get the A/C fixed the next day it started making horrible noises and then I brought it back in and they suggested changing out more parts at full labor cost after I had already brought it in once. I am taking my business somewhere else before this turns into a routine. For the price of automotive work I don t trust this shop.

I went there for an oil change. My car uses an special oil that is hard to find and they quickly ordered it for me, I brought my car later and they changed it for a reasonable price. I do recommend this place.

Worst customer service at any State Inspection place, the worker there, the asian guy wears headphones and ignores the customers. He ignored the 4 customers who walked in after me as well. Take your business elsewhere.
