I am making an update on this review, again.Thank you David/Cecil for taking care of this for me really professionally. I appreciate the effort and sincerity! It felt really good to be able to talk productively and work things out eventually! This proves again that it s alright to make mistakes once in a while, everybody does. It s more important to be able to restore the trust and confidence in the people you are dealing with. I feel mine is certainly restored!Now the tires for this GLC300 are finally installed and I am back on the road. Feel great and I am much more comfortable entrusting the tire care for both my vehicles with these guys once more!Thanks David/Cecil, Thanks Discount Tire!*******Endured a truly harrowing ordeal at this location today. The day began innocently enough I brought my cherished MB GLC300, purchased a fresh set of tires from their store, eager to have them expertly installed. However, after an agonizing half-hour wait, the shocking revelation struck they had shattered the wheel lock key during the installation, leaving the fragmented remnants lodged within the lug nut.Their excuses flowed freely, absolving themselves of responsibility, and then, to add insult to injury, they directed me to their supposed best mechanic to rectify the sheared portion. Who s to say this mishap didn t occur on their watch, conveniently deflecting blame?Now, not only am I burdened with the uninstalled tires cost, but they ve handed me a broken key that requires replacement from the MB dealership and a lug nut conundrum beyond my own fixing capabilities. The lingering question remains: How will they step up, acknowledge their lapse, and set things right? The suspense is palpable Additional note:Now that I got the tools, I was able to MANUALLY remove the three other lock wheel lug without any difficulties - it confirm my believe that they were the one broken the Key in the first place with improper use of tools but then trying to blame on others

This location is wonderful!!! All the employees were so nice. We came in not tooo long before they closed for the night and they still replaced 4 of my tires. We were the last customers there and they said we close at 6 but we stay until the last customer leaves . Israel helped us specifically with our purchase. He was very knowledgeable and explained things very clearly. He walked through options with us on his screen and didn t rush/pressure us in making a decision. Highly recommended this location!

I purchased my 4 new tires from this place. After 4 months 2 of my tires got flat. At first, they told me they are going to give me 2 free new tires, then the very next day they said NO, and I have to pay for them. They told me there is a warranty for 6 months. I didn t need 4 new tires but they persuaded me to buy 4 new tire. The quality of tires were bad and old, they changed their mind to help me out. Do not go to this store. They tell you something they react differently.

So happy once again with the marvelous Discount Tire team, was helped by Steve who is very experienced and an active listener, he made sure we had all the information needed and kept me informed of availability and time line for getting my new tires. Isra�l was the friendly tech who did the work efficiently.The whole team always looks out for their clients and makes sure everything is clear and done properlyWould never go anywhere else.

The way they will try to manipulate you into buying new tires you don t need is actually pretty scary. I had a nail in my tire and requested to have it patched/plugged. The guy that assisted me, of course, was only interested in selling me new tires, so he went through a long spiel of trying to convince me that I was driving dangerously and should have all four of my tires changed. Please know that this is purely a marketing tactic and that they could not care less about your safety. I had to ask this man an unreasonable amount of times to have them simply inspect the nail - I thought I was going crazy. Even if you are candid with them about not being able to afford a new set of tires, they will push you to do financing and then ask you when you plan to come back if you can t do it that day. They are only friendly when you first walk in because they see you as an opportunity. If you stand firm in your decision to not purchase new tires, they will sulk and treat you poorly. Especially if you are a woman because they probably see you as an easy target.Also - They deemed my tire unrepairable, but of course when I went somewhere else and got a second opinion, I was able to get it plugged. Please only come here if it s a last resort. If I want to be gaslit and lied to by a bunch of men, I can just walk out into nature and talk to some random dude. I don t need to experience that in a professional setting.

I purchased 4 new Continental tires from Discount Tires 2 years ago with warranty for 3 years on all of them. I came today with a nail in my rear tire and needed help with replacement. I called prior to coming and the sales associate told me that I had warranty and it would be a free replacement. I arrive to the store and spoke to a sales associate about exactly what happened and he tells me right away that I don t have warranty and they also don t have the tire i need to replace and I would have to go to a different location. He tells me all of this before actually checking my tires. He goes with me to check my tires and says my tire with the nail is entirely done for and it needs replacing. He then checks my second rear tire and says that one is fine and the front two are actually good. We go back inside and he says i need to replace both tires and that they have Continental and Falken in stock LITERALLY after he told me previously they have nothing in stock. He quickly is ready to tell me price and how much it would cost me. Also I magically have warranty now for 3 years but the warranty doesn t cover the tire because its worn out. I asked him what about the second rear tire can that be replaced and he says no because its worn out also LITERALLY when he told me before that same tire was fine. So many contradicting statements only to convince me that my tires were bad when they really weren t and lying to me the entire time. Avoid this place at all costs.

I came in for a tire flat and the guys pushed me get new tires for another axle. I got a new pair. (They were pushing me to replace the same set 10k miles ago but I didn t change. I went to a mechanic and they said it s perfectly in good condition for 10-15k miles).Also these guys said the other set are also worn out. These are brand new continental tires just got replaced 10k miles ago. They said it s already 70% worn out. Tires available here are exclusively made for them and are made to worn out quicker.Like others have commented, they make business out of pushing unnecessary things too early. Next time I wouldn t step-in in this place.

Have been coming to this location for almost 3 years after I moved away from the area. The service that David provides is incredible after all these years. I don't mind the drive as long I get good service. Today, I was helped by Evan, Clint, and David. Each one of them explained to me the situation in a way for me to understand it better. I walked in stressed and walked out, relieved that I could drive again without worrying about getting another flat again. Yes, I know Houston's roads are always a mystery. Thanks again, Discount's family in Briar Forest.

Do not come here look what they did to my rim.They do everything in a hurry they don t even care about your rims they scratch all my rim real bad. They always trying to sell you new tires you don t need a 19 year old try to tell me a 45 year old man that I need it new tires because my tires were bad and I actually bought those tires in 2022 I told him my tires are good then he try to sell me some stupid wipers. Im never coming back to this place.

Got tires here today. Made appointment online and was taken care of immediately. I like that they text you thru out so you know the status. Walked across to Starbucks and did work so it was seamless for me. I did notice they have a seating area and Wi-Fi so you could easily work here and wait. You can also drive thru and get air in your tires! Great to know.

Manager David AS @ the Briar Forest location is a man of his word, he is truly concerned about his customers, I wS really bad off 4 bad bald tires, 2 extreme, 1 with 2 nails... David worked with me and honored his price quote .I feel so blessed and safe now driving my grand baby around. Thanks to Davud and the Discount Tire family....

My car tires worn out in less than 17000 miles and went to this store for a check up. The staff started saying your car tires worn out due to alignment and driving style blah blah. He was kind of blaming me. I went inside the store and talked to a different guy who was very helpful. This guy called Michelin and got a good deal for me. Since my office is in Charlotte, I wasn t able to get the tires changed. After 4 weeks when I called they said there is nothing in your system we need to start again. Meanwhile once they called to get it replaced. I wasn t able to do due to my commitments. This time when I went, the staff told me that Michelin won t cover for all the four tires rather have only two. I said I don t to change the tires after sometime. This debate went and then I came out of the store and called the Michelin support. The Michelin helped me to get the four tires replaced for a credit and got the issues resolved. The staff is not customer friendly. They always try to put it on the customer.

We like Discount Tire for its tire warranties, which have come in handy for these Houston potholes and hazards. Even with an appointment, we waited 30 minutes before they started the tire rotation, but it was fairly quick once they started. Waiting area is clean with bottled water available.

Getting Air today.1/27/24 There was a Jag in front of me and parked to talk to Sid.I got air and when I got home all my metal valve caps were gone replaced with black plastic ones with exception of the front passenger side which didn t even have a valve cap replaced. Sad, last time I go there.Best you get out of the car since they obviously pocket your value caps.

Great Service and fast turnaround time. HINT - make the appointment online before you go that way you do not have to wait. Never had a problem with Discount Tire and this location is no exception.

This is by far the best discount tire I have visited. They were so nice and through. The manager was welcoming to every customer and the gentleman who helped me explained exactly what was going on. Provided water to each person who entered and gave accurate lead times when to expect the car to be ready. Victor provided me a coupon for an alignment company down the street and he was very professional. My go to discount tire going forward!

Went in today with an issue on my Mini. The guy who helped informed that I had run flats and that the tire was indeed flat and the issue was most likely not with my TPMS. He then informed me that they could simply repair the tire and not have to replace it. I was expecting to pay for the service, and was happy to do so, but instead they brought my car around and said everything was taken care of. No charge and no hassle. Great guys working at this store! The experience really made a not so great day much, much better.

This room was full when I got here and I haven't been waiting long. Excellent service- courteous, quick, and knowledgeable. Care about your time. Got a tire change on my lunch break- not bad. Consistent service over a few years. They're busy a lot, but for good reason and you won't wait long. Call ahead and they're always ready to work with you.

I gind it hard ti believe that any tire store doesn't have the means to chang a brokem lugnut or lug. The service in this store has steadily declined since they opened. Also if i need air i dont need to be forced to give my vin. I dont need to be sold anything when i need air. Unless its serious, i dont need you to sell me more tires

This by far is my go to tire shop. They are very efficient. Pricing is always reasonable and service is top-notch. Over the past year I've probably visited four times with random nails in my tires. They have always taken care of me and worked with me on specific needs.Recently had an interaction with David who took care of me from beginning to end and even mounted tires onto my wheels. I came in with no appointment And the place was fairly packed for 8 AM on a Saturday morning. I spoke to David about what needed to be done, and he offered personally do it. I had wheels and tires ordered online and he took care and meticulously mounted tires no scratches no issues.I frequent this place for all my cars when I need wheels/ tires or plugs for a flat.David, I hope you get that Chevy Chevelle you're looking for.

Kris was very helpful in assisting me with selecting the best tires for my budget. He even replaced my windshield wipers for me! Plus I was serviced in less than an hour which helped me get in and out quickly. Thanks guys!

Victor at Discount Tires was extremely helpful. I got a flat tire and scheduled an appointment last minute. I arrived early to drop the car and Victor met me before even stepping in the store and had my car ready 45 minutes before my appointment time even started. I ended up getting all new tires due to my other tires being over-due and didn't feel like he tried to upsell me and was still able to have the car ready in 30 minutes. Wonderful service!
