Terribles don t go there they say one price and when your car is almost done they charged me more. Also it is not the problem I paid for, the problem is after two weeks the alignment and balance come back to get problem and they don t want to fix it.

no problems. honest mechanics. open on Sundays. reasonable prices. wish they would clean up a bit though and make their business look nicer for the community, ie. remove trash, etc

I went there today to get my tire replaced. I asked if they have my tire size and asked for the price he said $27 and he wanted me to wait him for 15 min cuz he was eating. I wait and after 10 min another customer showed up he went to help her which took additional 10 min. He finally was available and told me the price for $37 he tried to charged me extra even though I said what he said at first place he said $37 is the final price and I asked for oil price and gave me like $140 for mustang. They just tried to rip me off , made wait for nothing. They were rude. If you want to get ripped off guys this is the right place. I just wasted my time going un there. You don't do the same.

I've been coming here for over 5 years. I've always had a great experience. It's very important to have a trusted person repair your vehicle and I would recommend chapin to everyone.

I bought a tire from here back in 2017 and they gave me the wrong size for my car which caused my ABS and traction light to come on on my dash over time. They only issued a paper receipt with a 15 day warranty, so of course, when the issues arose on day 18, they weren t able to help with anything. I had to pay out of pocket for another tire, and have a different shop balance, and rotate my tires, plus do a front end alignment to correct the issues this caused. Yesterday I decided to give them another try since my alternator went out and I knew they had fairly reasonable prices. They do not have any diagnostic machines, so they re unable to conduct testing before or after their work is completed. I had to take my car to O Reilly s to test and buy a new alternator. I was at Chapin for 6 hours while they worked on replacing my alternator. I paid for the labor and left for the day thinking everything was okay. Today every service indicator light possible turned on on my dash, and the lights were flickering. I took my car back to Chapin, and they said they did everything right and tried to blame the brand new part as the reason I was having these issues. Since I had a lifetime warranty on the alternator, I took my car to O Reilly for another alternator and they conducted a full diagnostic on the battery, starter, and alternator. The supervisor at O Reillys showed me that the alternator was connected wrong and referred me to another mechanic to put the new alternator in. When I approached Chapin requesting a refund since the job was not completed properly, they refused to refund me. This place is not reliable, and they do not stand behind their work. Even when it is proven that they are at fault, they refuse to make the customer whole. Their only concern is getting your cash. Whether the job is done correctly or not. I do not recommend Chapin Tires at all! Not for tires or automotive work under the hood.

Needed used tire for dodge avenger in a hurry ...called, confirmed, arrived, waited 5minutes for him to finish his other customer, he attended to me ,got the tire off, switched them and we left 47$ and 15minutes poorer... awesome experience for the money, will return.

Went here to get some mechanic work done and the guy did a half job, plus messed up my vehicle. Never going back.

I took my Escalade because of a screw in each of the tires on the right side. The guy charged me $15 to repair each tire. When he took the center cap off one of the wheels he broke the ring that holds the cap in place, and said nothing. When he put the wheel on the machine to remove the tire he kept clamping and unclamping the wheel and really forcing the tire out with steel bars. This on the OEM 22" rims. When he put the tire back the center cap was loose, to which he said was already like that. The next day the front tire was flat and the center cap had fallen off the rear wheel. I took it back to the shop and he was more than happy to tell me that the center cap would eventually fall off. When he checked the flat tire he realized the rim was cracked. What a joke of a place. Don't trust them with your expensive wheels. Of course he denied breaking the cap and the rim and said tough luck.
