DO NOT GO THIS BUSINESS. Avoid this business for auto state inspection as the elderly employee working there is extremely impolite and rude. As i know, he is owner this place, that is not reason why he can speak out like that. During my visit, I simply asked a few questions and his tone was aggressive. I strongly advise against returning to this establishment and urge caution when considering it. There are plenty of reliable auto mechanics in the surrounding area.

This place handled my inspection within 10 minutes or less! Amazing service. The woman was friendly, greeted me upon arrival, helped me get in & out super quick. I recommend this place for a quick inspection. She was pleasant to deal with and they did it super quick! Amazed and I was on my way to work in no time.

This place is straight up garbage. Never again will I come to this place or recommend anyone. The only reason I came here is because it s the only place I found close and it s open on Sunday. I had no check engine light but didn t was missing a lug from my tire. They told me to get it fix and I could come back but why would I come to a place that fails you over something that has nothing to do with the engine!? Every other place I been to focus on engine and window tint. Also they check first then charge you. This place charged me first to make sure they get your money regardless. Just threw away my money with this people. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

I was looking for a place to do my car inspection. omg the service here is great. I didn t get the lady name. But she took less than 10 minutes to do my car inspection. I will come back here again for sure.

This shop is a joke. The guy working behind the window was rude as all get out and I pointed that out to him. He started calling me names and tried to get up and physically fight me. Even followed me out to my truck still running his mouth. I had a unique situation with an inspection where I needed an actual original inspection report instead of a copy. I was just asking questions and needed some assistance and was going to pay for a re-inspection. Wonder why they had no customers...

They do not service any vehicles with stickers or any form of branding on the side of your vehicle. There weren't many people there. Fast service.

Stay away from this business. Don t believe me ? read the others reviews or go and try it . The old men that owns this place definitely needs to go . Unprofessional, Don t know how to talk w customers very rude and aggressive . They need to closed his business

Needed my car inspected. They wouldn t let me walk in without a mask which I respect. I didn t have a clean one and they couldn t offer me one either. I offered to just wait outside but they said I d have to pay cash or walk inside with a mask to pay with cc. Went across the street to Choice Auto Care for quick and friendly service. I waited outside and paid from outside so I wouldn t be around anyone without a mask. It was an easy solution! Just go across the street.

DO NOT USE!!! Zero starts is more appropriate. Mechanic was the rudest, most short tempered person I've met in a long time. After struggling to read the VIN on a 50 year old car, I told him I could find on frame. He insists he "won't be crawling around to find anything", and I said I can find it for him. He then snaps and demands that the lady at the shop give me a refund. Then attempts to intimidate me with threats, saying "he'll show me a bad attitude", and "let me come over and show you a loud mouth" as he was yelling at me across parking lot. Went down street to nicer facility that had no issues providing safety inspection. I thought for sure no one would believe my story, but other reviews here are in line with mine. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP - hopefully a more helpful neighborhood mechanic can take over once it shuts down.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle safety inspection

20 year old car, engine light on and due for inspection. Edwin itemized everything it could be, much less expensive than I had been quoted at other places, and actually fixed the problem! He and his wife are decent, honest people. I see reviews about masks being required, and I applaud them for this! I will use their service from now on.Service: Engine repair

Very helpful and prices weren't bad either.I went there to get my car serviced and inspected. (6/19/2020) The piece he had to put on was a difficult piece but he got it done and explained to me what he was doing and why it was going to take him some time to get it done. I have always been greeted with a gracious attitude and I will go back there soon to get my brakes done. Thanks for what you do. Kudos .

Did my inspection. My 3yr old has to wear a mask of stay outside? Ignorant to the law. In Harris County it's 10 and up. Now I have the vaccine to protect myself and my family. Maybe try getting the vaccine then vs forcing children with asthma to put a mask on! The inspection was fast but I would never go again. Also charged one dollar for paying with a debit card vs cash? Why? Shady place.

We brought our Promaster 3500 which os 1 year old. The owner failed it because there no 3rd brake light. The van is designed in that way. Dodge dealer confirmed it does not need it due to its height. The owner has no idea what he was talking about. When we discussed argues rudely.He also get your money first before performing inspection. First such experience for us and we should have know better. When he does not have facts to provide he threatened to call the police for trespassing!To avoid wasting time, we went to another place on the same street after 1 hour and passed without any issues.Avoid this place at any cost. There are many places that do inspection professionally. Its not really about the fact he failed but the way he present himself and claims that he knows everything.*******************************************This is an update after the "owner" responded to my review. The owner's response is misleading. There was no "profanity" used in the discussion. If the phrase "he does not have any idea what he is talking about" considered profanity, then you should not be in business. It was not even directed to you. You overheard my conversation and started yelling. You are not just incompetent in what you do but dishonest as well in responding to review. If you remember correctly, we waited for the police to arrive and they never did - most like because they knew what they are dealing with. The police station was just one minute away!

I Just went to this Location to do my car inspection. I don t have any issue with my car not light on nothing at all. First they make you pay for the inspection without check if your car have any engine light on or Tint is to dark etc. After I Pay my $25.50 Chasity de la Rosa came and explained it that the inspection it was FAIL because my tint window they were 9% limit 25% How they can t you notice if your tiny window won t pass before you waste your money. She scrubbed my money I m very disappointed about it. Don t take your car with those guys. People right now take advantage of the Pandemic situation. Horrible experience.

Edwin and Chasity are a nice couple that take care of cars. Edwin is dependable and honest as a professional mechanic. He installed on my new shoe brakes for $100 both axles. I brought the brake pads at an Autozone. I had solid stop today. The stuff worked amazingly and I avoided an accident. It felt good to be safe. I will see the more often.

I just recently moved to the Houston area and I went to C&C to get my vehicle inspected so I could register my vehicle. I walked in and a shorter man with long hair was working the counter. He seemed really nice at first. I told him I wanted my car inspected and he told me I needed to have Texas insurance to get it.However, my wife had her vehicle inspected last month with the same insurance with no issues. When I told the man he must be wrong he bagan cursing at me and aggressively approaching me. I walked out of the shop and he started following me to my car yelling make my day and i d love to beat your a**. I then went down the street to another inspection location and I was able to get my inspection with no issues and no verbal assault.I don t know how this place is still in business if their employees refuse to provide customers with inspections and then proceeds to verbally assault them for informing him on the proper procedures.I am all for supporting local businesses, but I would not recommend C&C to my worst enemy. The quality of service as well as the quality of employee character is a shame.I sincerely hope the owners read educate their employees on what is right and wrong.

Staunch looking oompa loompa didn't like that we didn't have a mask.Just think he didn't want to do any work today. Today's truck was one of 5 we were bringing, but hey If you want to be ignorant to the law AND not supply something YOU are requiring people to wear, and be disrespectful to customers that's on you man. Lady at the front desk was polite and courteous, the same cannot be said for the employee named "Ed". When showing my insurance I was told by this man that they do not allow PDF electronic copies over the phone to prove insurance. He was very rude in making this point. A quick call to the DPS confirmed that indeed you can use am electronic pdf copy via your phone. Ed was wrong, rude, and unprofessional. I suggest going somewhere else.

Just left this place. Came there with a smile on my face and left there with half a smile lol here goes, This has to be one of my worse experiences ever getting my car inspected if I have to be honest. I advise anyone who have had work done to their car to avoid this place at all cost. The employee Edward Delarose is very unhelpful. He failed my car because the emissions showed not ready for 2 results and did not offer good advice if any at all. I didn't have a engine light on so I brought it back after a long day of driving a day later. I was hoping the lady was there because Ed kind of gave me a hard time the day before but today when I came there was no one in site. I yelled Hello to get someones attention and even called but still no one came out, so I went back to my car and waited 10 minutes before the guy(ED) came from around the back of the business. The guy pretty much left the front desk unattended for 10 minutes and anything could have happened at that time but anywho. He knowingly knew that I had recently had work done to my car a couple days before and Instead of him hooking it up to the computer to make sure it was ready,( like most inspection shops often do). he ran another smog test and failed me again and told me to bring it back to the mechanic. I drove it down the street to another shop and told the guy my situation and he put it on the computer and told me to drive it a little more then ran the smog test after I brought it back and it passed :). I'm not mad but I am disappointed at the customer service and will absolutely not be returning. Maybe edwin is a good guy, who knows, but he has to be one of the most unhelpful technicians I have ever met at a shop. I didnt not want to waste another 25 bucks and I can tell he was ready to fail my car again from how he was speaking to me lol, so I left and politely told him I would take it to the ppl I have used in the past. had to pat my self on the back for the great last minute move.

I've just had my inspection done here, they were both so nice, greeted me and my toddler so kindly. My car was ready within 10 minutes or less!!! Thank you C&C! You'll be who I use from now on!

When you go to a car mechanic, the bar is set pretty low, but C&C didn't even manage to meet my already low expectations. I went in for a state inspection, the female attended was rude, unaccommodating, and most importantly, incorrectly cited that I must provide Texas insurance proof to have a Texas state inspection done when by law, any states insurance would have sufficed. Extremely disappointed in the service that wasn't even performed and won't be coming back.

I have a 7 year old vehicle which I keep well maintained so I assumed it would pass inspection. Went in around 1pm on a Monday with no one else waiting, was done in 10-15 minutes. Very easy process.

My car did not pass inspection because of a break light bulb. I told them I already had a bulb and asked can they just change it. The service guy told me $30 to change. Clearly he's crazy. I went and changed it myself, then got a passing inspection.

I arrived here just minuets before closing and they were still happy to inspect my vehicle! The older gentleman and younger lady that helped me were really sweet. I would deffinately recommend!
