I moved to this Texaco about a year and a half ago when my original station stopped doing inspections. I ve been very happy with them. They are so helpful. First time there the attendant fixed my hood latch that was sticking for no charge. He was just being helpful! It wasn t a huge deal for him but it was for me. They are fast and upfront about how long they expect the work to take when I have maintenance done and I ve never felt pressured to fix things I know nothing about. Prices seem reasonable too.As as older female, who grew up before it was ok for women to learn about cars, I can t tell you how much I appreciate them.They are also friendly and polite which isn t a critical requirement but it s nice.

As a single young woman, finding quality and trustworthy car care is a must. I 100% recommend coming to this shop! I've had my inspections, oil changes, and a fuel pump repair done here. They never tried to upsell or convince me to do something I didn't need. They've earned my trust and I cant recommend them enough.

Used to go here religiously for many years for inspections, oil changes, fill ups, etc while living nearby. I was in the area and needed my inspection done, so decided to stop by. 5 years later and they still are by far the best station in Houston hands down. Since I hadn t been in a few years I was no longer a regular/memorable face, but it didn t matter. It doesn t matter who helps you or who you talk to. Everyone there is extremely friendly, honest, and will go the extra mile to make sure your needs are met. They are also super quick for inspections regardless if there are people ahead of you. Genuinely the friendliest employees at any station!!!

It's been hard finding an honest place to get the state inspection but the people at this location are honest, decent, and friendly. I got in there on a busy holiday with 3 people ahead of me and they didn't moan and groan about it like the last place I used to use and they were upfront that it might take up to an hour to finish the inspection. They finished it in about a half hour and were as nice as they could be.Maybe it's a sad statement on society that I would be this impressed by this, but if you're worried about an inspection shop trying to upsell you wipers or get you to do extra work, fear not!

This place reap me off. I went there for state inspection. they took my car in and did the emmision test it passed but they failed me for tints on the front side windows. They could have told me that before they took the car. They just wanted to charge me for the service and they hold on to your car keys until you pay.

Well, as always, the Briargrove Texaco Crew at the corner of Voss and San Felipe hit a grand slam by fixing my most annoying engine vibration! The team there diagnosed and researched the issue and found the necessary solution, and repaired my vehicle quicker than expected and with a final fee lower than estimated!! Their professionalism and determination to get the job done right the first time in the most efficient and cost conscious manner is always appreciated and what I know I can expect from this group! I have been a customer of theirs for over twenty five years now and have always received excellent service with a friendly and honest attitude! I know when I take my vehicles to Briargrove Texaco that they will be in good hands and the repairs will be completed properly. I have referred many friends and family there and they have all had the same results and continue to use this Briargrove Texaco service station location! Thanks to Demus, Donnell, Ifran and all the great team there for always taking excellent care of me and my vehicles! Five Stars+++++

Came here on friend's recommendation. Diagnosed the trouble with my car as the starter, so they changed it. Leave and car won't start 15 minutes later. Say it's now the battery. Talked to the owner, said it was probably a coincidence. Thx for the $50 off the battery. Still cost me $800+ for a battery and a starter I probably didn't need. Stay away

Excellent service, very friendly! I got my oil changed and inspection here, and they didn't try to upsell me at all, which is a big plus in my book. Lots of places will bring you a dirty air filter and try to scam you or try to convince you that you need new tires; not this place. I'll definitely be back the next time I need maintenance.

We have had work done on our cars at Briargrove Texaco for years. Pete has been great! But things have changed. We took a car in this week and were told by George that the AC compressor was "weak" and whole system needed to be replaced --- said $1000+. And we had a door lock that was broken and he said $525. Something didn't sound right so I took the car to the dealer and they replaced the lock for $350 and fixed the AC that was leaking freon, replaced a simple joint and recharged freon for $400, for total of $750 or half of what Briargrove quoted me. On top of that, they charged us $99 because they looked at the car for 10 minutes, no service, just looked it over --- that's more than the dealers hourly labor rate!!! In 15 years of going there that has never happened!!! Countless times we have gone by and had them look at issues and have not been charged $99 for a 10 minute eyeball review. And we trusted them and given them our business. Things have changed. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Phenomenal service and such nice workers here. I was in out for an oil change and inspection within 25 minutes! Definitely recommend to anyone who needs any car service!

I went here ton Tuesday, August 16, 2016 to have my purge valve replace in my suv. I had a good experience with them. I knew what needed to be done but Gus suggest the mechanic, check to make sure so they wouldn't fix the wrong thing and the problem still be there. They completd the work and because it turn out to be what I said it was, the diagnostic fee was waiver. Also, the young man who took me home, so I could leave my car, was very nice, polite. My experience on my first time going to this shop was a good one.

Today when I got home right after the oil change service, I received an urgent call from the station about an oil leak that they discovered when I left. George was immediately sent to my house and he resolved the problem in a very quick, efficient and professional manner. Thanks a million George!

Very nice customer service. I pulled up for the self service air for my tires and the attendant told me to pull up to the gas area and filled my air for me, superb and much appreciated!

Best in the business! They are honest and efficient. Demos and his staff go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I would not go anywhere else. They do everything a dealership does without being taken to the cleaners.

Family owned business. They are all friendly and trustworthy. I use them for car repairs and to fill my gas tank. Pay cash for the gasoline and receive 10 cents off per gallon.

My family has been coming to Briargrove Texaco for over five years. They tell it to you straight (what you need right away vs. what you could afford to wait on) and never look to just make a buck off anyone. At the same time they express their concern for your safety on the road with any repair they do. I would recommend Briargrove Texaco to anyone in the area.

!!!Do not go here!!! I went on monday august 15 2016 to have them replace my serpentine belt on my truck and replace the thermostat. While they did the work i noticed i high pitched whining noise again two days later and saw 2 yards of the serpentine belt wrapped around my fan rod, 2 feet wrapped around the serpentine pulley. I went to the mechanic on August 17 by my house and they removed it and said " If it had been any longer it would have broken the fan rod and destroy the pulley."I am filing a BBB complaint against them and their workWhen i called them to tell them what had happened the guy Gus only said "well the mechanic is sure he got all the belt off." and nothing else once again do not go here not worth the $115.00 a hour... Do not go here not worth your car and your time
