There are many reasons to bring your car here. The 2 that stand out the most is John's integrity and knowledge. His sons and rest of the staff hold Johns values as well! Do not bring your car here expecting it back in an hour as the wait is certainly worth it.My only issue is that it took me way too long to find John and staff and in a few short years will be a loyal raving fan for God willing many more years. Thank you, John and staff, for your good work and most of all your honesty. I hope and pray John doesn't retire until he is 120 years young!!

They always do it right the first time. I've been driving in the Houston area since 1979 owning 2 or 3 vehicles at a time and finding a reliable mechanic was difficult. When I discovered Bear Creek Car Repair I knew I would be there to stay. A weight has been lifted from my shoulders because any time I drop off my vehicle I know the diagnosis will be correct and the repairs done perfectly. They are consistently personable, professional and capable. They go beyond the call of duty while prices are lower or at least competitive. The highest level of integrity and sincere love of auto mechanics are part of what makes Bear Creek Car Repair the benchmark of all auto repair services.

The only place in the area i will take my classic truck too. Hard to find mechanics who work on Carbs, etc. but dont expect to get your old toy back the next day. However when you get it back it will run better than it ever has before. From my experience!

Disclaimer: John Radisi (owner) is good friend of mine since scouting days.I have been taking mine and my son's car to Bear Creek Car Repair since I knew John. I have introduced few of my friends to John as well. Neither I or my friends have not had any issues or complains about any kind of service performed here. Occasionally, they are swamped with work, but I would rather wait than take my business somewhere else. People are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Update - this team of folks over at bear Creek really do have your best interests in mind. Now all of my vehicle go nowhere else! Their pricing is extremely fair, their quality is superior to anywhere I've been in the past and they are up front honest and dependable. These are qualities you just do not find in many places today specially repair shops! These guys really take the time to get it right the very first time! Top notch quality, spectacular pricing, and the best customer service you could ask for. Whatever you need fixed, stop throwing money away and being frustrated. Give them a call and breathe a breath of fresh air again when it comes to your vehicles. You will not regret it!

23 years ago we were looking for quality, dependable service for a fair price when we went to BCCRS and we still use this family business. Over the years they have repaired and maintained a variety of, old (15+ yrs) and new, cars and trucks. I am aware of the great ratings this business has as well as the good reviews for Mr. John. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience from start to end. The first time I called the lady who answered was very aggressive at first then disrespectful toward the end when I was asking her for time frames on when I could have my car looked at. I got zero questions answered and was told take the car here to check it out (no prices over the phone ,take it or leave it attitude ). I understand I ll give him prices over the phone but time frames on when I can get my car checked out? I ended up giving them a second chance and called them two days later because their reviews were great online so I thought I d call again and Mr. John answered. I asked him the same questions but he did answer them and was very professional and told me that worst case scenario it would not go over $2000. I let him know that I have to be towing my car there so I told him to make sure that this was going to be in budget, he gave me a timeframe and promised me it would not go over $2000 worst-case scenario. I left my card there and it took them Three days to get back to us. He promised one day then the next and then I had to call him to get an answer for the price. At NO POINT was any thing mentioned about a diagnosis fee or a charge that would be added If we got our car checked out here. I have been to other places that require a deposit or to be paid upfront for the diagnosis at this place this was not mentioned point blank,period ! Of course he comes back with a bill of $3200 for something that I called around and worst case scenario got a $2400 bill at the most expensive place.Due to the miscommunication I couldn t get back to them in time and had to pick up the car two days later. I told him that me and my wife made a decision and we would end up saving up and going with him because of his reviews. I literally looked at the man and told him I would come back, he then tries to charge me for the diagnosis. $120? I understand things had to be taken apart but if the diagnosis required labor charges then I would ve completely understood it just felt like he was trying to scam me because he knew the car didn t run and I know many people Will not take their car from place to place. Be careful dealing with these people they apparently like to tack on hidden fees. The quality in their work is there according to other people be weary.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Bear Creek Repair is our go-to place and we wouldn t trust our vehicles anywhere else. John is very honest. Our son had also tried to get a diagnosis and repair estimate elsewhere but John found the exact problem and for much less.

We have been using John's services for some 40 years. He is friendly and honest. His "know-how" on cars and trucks is superb! Even tho we have moved some 20 miles away, we still come to BC Car Repair - he and his mechanics do the job right, and if there's still a problem, he happily fixes it immediately.Could recommend him more highly!Services: Transmission, Tires, Brakes

John (the owner), and his team do great work. I have taken my vehicles to him regularly since 2009, and he has done every thing from oil changes to transmission rebuilds, and I have always been satisfied. John is a straight shooter, and tells you like it is. Also, if he can save you a dollar or two, he will do that. On the rare occasion that tgere was any issue after a repair, they have always been quick to resolve the issue and make it right. If you want a fair and honest diagnosis of your vehicle's problem, and a high quality repair, bring your car to Bear Creek Auto Repair.

Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Was able to replace my faulty car Interstate battery under warranty. The battery had to be special ordered but John kept me informed by phone regarding the status. Will take the Honda to him next week for additional mechanic-ing, for sure.

This place has been here 41 years. One of the young men that works there grew up with this business. That speaks volumes to me. Great job on my car at a great price. I will use Bear Creek Car Repair for all my automotive repairs. John is the man and Bear Creek Auto Repair is the place your sick car can get fixed without breaking the bank.

Highly recommend! We were referred there by a friend, and have used them twice so far and have no complaints. The owner is very friendly and responsive. On our most recent visit they saved us hundreds of dollars compared to what a large chain shop was going to charge us, and my car is running like new!

MY car had a check engine light and was acting sluggish. Took it to another mechanic and was the problem kept returning. I took it to John and his team, they took the time the properly diagnose my car and tell me what the exact was triggering my knock sensor. They also informed me that was covered under my power train warranty. They printed the all the information and I needed to take the car to the dealer. Thanks John.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I found BCCRS by going through the reviews and I can attest to the professionalism and quality of work of John and his team. Great service for a great price. I have a 2009 dodge ram 2500 5.7 hemi, i brought it to these guys and they were able to find out it was the valve lifters in just 3 days!! Very nice guys and very knowledgeable. Although I know i probably annoyed them by asking so many questions and calling so much but they gave me knowledge i didn't know and will use in the future. They even let me see the damage the lifters have caused and gave me updates as soon as they found out anything else. I HIGHLY recommend these guys. My truck is still currently there but I am sure they will do a amazing job when finished.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I would not trust anyone else with my car. Hands down the best Car Repair Service in Houston; I have called John from all over the south & he tells me what to do if I'm having a problem with my car. He runs a family business but treats all his customers like they are his family. They take pride in their work & are always there for their customers. If you take your car anywhere else but Bear Creek Car Repair Service well all I can say you are missing out on a true trustworthy family run business. I love Bear Creek Car Repair Service, Inc.

They are the kind of people that are absolutely honest and trustworthy: just take it in, drop it off, and know that only needed repairs will be done and done right. Great Automotive shop! I took a new to me car to be looked at for any repairs needed. I was given a list of all recommend repairs and services needed. They even split the services into what can wait and be done later. There a slight set back on a part, but John and Co took the time to pin point the exact root of the issue instead of swapping out parts freely. I was given updates throughout the whole process. No need to go to big name auto shops. This is what you imagine when you're told to go to a "Trusted Mechanic". I'll definitely be back for any future work. Don't just THINK about going here. JUST DO IT!

I could not give any business a stronger recommendation - this is the epitome of a trusted repair shop! I have been bringing cars in here for for thirty years! Everything from my Grandfather s 1970 super Custom Pontiac LeMans w/ 400 c.i. Daytona V-8, to new Acura, to multiple minivans and my current Porsche and my wife s current Honda hybrid. Their integrity and quality work have been second to NONE! They are ALWAYS timely, accurate, and FAIR! I have NEVER had them misdiagnose a problem requiring a return visit!Had my current Porsche into a dealership and received a quote in the range of $7k for a list of services. Went to Bear Creek for a 2nd opinion (have I mentioned how much I trust this team?) and they took care of needed repairs and maintenance for about $500.John Radisi has been the owner/manager of this team for the entirety of this time and he is the most wonderful and trustworthy businessman with which I ve ever done business. When you first visit this shop, you will find it difficult to identify, as their sign was destroyed years ago in one of our gulf hurricanes. Their word of mouth reputation and repeat customers keep them VERY busy, . . . so busy, that John has not found the need to replace his sign! THAT tells you how good they really are!
