Been coming to Vals for years. He is super honest about the work they do. I once took my car in and he said the issue was something he could fix but that if I took it to a dealer then they would do it for free cause of the recall. Another time I took the car in not know my brother had taking it a year before to fix some other thing. Val let me know that the work was under his warranty and that he would not charge me. I hadn't even known it was under warranty. Givung 4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes it does take a while to get your car back but often that has to do with all the work they have.

Whatever can t be done at home goes straight to these guys. Been going here for years. Honest mechanics that are quick accurate with their work. Best part for me is they are within walking distance from my home. I just have it and walk home. They call me when the job is done. I ve never had to question their work and diagnosis. If you re in the area and your car needs work these are the guys you ll want to visit.

This mechanic had my car for 3 days and during those 3 days we would call the mechanic to ask about our car cause he said he would had it ready that same day. We would call and they would never answer. We would have to go in person to ask and the mechanic would keep on saying that another problem would come up, when at first he said it was just a simple hose problem. He did not fix the problem! And is trying to overcharge us for a misdiagnosis that he did.

This morning my mom s car wouldn t start because she had left her lights on so I had to jump it and drove straight to B&E garage. Initially we were concerned because it was unclear whether it was battery or alternator issue given the car didn t jump on the first few attempts . Fortunately, we were able to meet Mr. Vel (the owner) and he took great care of us. He was extremely helpful and it was clear he was more focused on providing superb customer service rather than simply making a sale. Thankfully it was just a battery maintenance issue and we were able to drive off within an hour. Thank you Mr.Vel. You re the best!

I have been going to Vel for years! He is an extremely kind, understanding, straight forward man, and his work is guaranteed. I recommend him before you take your vehicle to a shady mechanic!!! I have a friend who comes in town from Austin just to get work done on her car at B & E Garage!

Just recently had two cars fixed here, and I have to say the work completed was amazing. They even fixed extra things that was of no additional cost to me, granted they were minor items (couple of screws missing on other parts). Only reason I'm not giving 5* is the lack of response when I call to check on progress of repairs.I will definitely be coming back there though. Val and his team do great work.

Val was nice enough to talk to me about my car problems over the phone (most mechanics would insist you come in before doing anything) and was able to diagnose from the computer codes I got at Auto Zone. I took his advice on which parts to buy (so far like a dream) and he also reset my light. He didn't charge me for all the trouble, even after I offered a six pack. All he asked for was an honest review. My father-in-law had been going to him for years and recommended him to me, I'm so glad I got B & E! Best mechanic in houston!

Interesting how ALL the reviews are five stars.I had been taking my cars there for years.I had my van there to have a hose replaced...that evening i stopped by because I left some schoolwork in the van. My van was gone. I was told that one of the mechanics took it to get the air bags tested....without my consent and without reason. I had several suspicious things happen after that....and that was enough.

Been Dealing with these guys since 2005.I initially took my 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor to them because another shady mechanic crossed threaded my bolts on my engine manifold.It was Idling very rough and it kept shutting off at the light. He and his team took good care of me and my SUV they rethreaded my manifold and repaired all the damage done by the Shady Mechanic.I was extremely greatful. It ran almost better than when I bought it new. I was floored. And the price, Very reasonable. I don't trust anyone else and I sent the rest of the kin folk to him.If anyone needs repair try these guys. Tell them you saw the great reviews on google about his shop. Hope everything works out for ya'll.

Vel stands behind his work and will often take care of you on the spot. I went back twice for warranty covered repairs (once several months after his work) and he resolved the issue without problems and with no extra costs. I will keep going back to them.

Vel is the head lead... He always uses his knowledge plus technology to analyze whats wrong...he gives you the price and usually a great or LIFETIME GUARANTEE on parts. His prices are fair and the workmanship is GREAT. I have my personnel vehicles and pick up truck serviced there for years. My truck is 20 years old and going strong on 210,000 miles.My limousine service vehicles also received all there maintanwnce their because Vel is up front on what he recommends and keeps workmanship at the top of list. The shop is crowded.... Its because... The locals know where to take their cars.

I just got my 98 Ford Windstar Van fixed and let me just say I have never been more impressed, grateful, appreciated and valued than these guys here at B&E. My husband and I have gone to them over and over again and every time we have been extremely grateful. Their prices are reasonable and their explain themselves in the engine. My Van has been running slow, stalling when we turn and when we sit at the light, but after these guys fixing it my Van has never run better. Lets just say on a scale of one to ten my van was a zero, after giving it to these guys? They made the van a 20. The owner has explained all the work he has done and the moment we cranked up the engine I could already tell the difference. I trust these guys so much and if you want your vehicle to run right without costing an arm or a leg and have people who are honest to do the job right then take your car, truck, van, suv or whatever to them. They will get the job done.Thank you B&E For everything you have done :D

7-20-2020 UPDATE--Still the only place to take our vehicles. Vel & Al are honest and hardworking. Being able to trust someone is my number 1 thing when I am looking for a service.We have been taking our vehicles to Vel at B&E for more than ten years. It isn't the closest to us, however, when someone gives you good, honest service and is reasonable with the prices you come back. My husband drives ALOT and depending on his vehicle is part of our livelihood. He owns a 2005 Explorer Sport with 270,000 miles on it. And she still knock on wood runs like a champ because of the maintenance and care we get at B&E. Thanks Vel!

I have been taking my cars to B & E Garage for over 10 years and have referred several family members and friends. The owner is extremely nice and explain to you what the problem is with your car and will even show you the parts that he has changed if you ask. If you have a problem with your car and it is not fixed correctly the first time. Take it back and they will look at it again to re-evaluate the problem. Fixing cars is not as easy as some people may believe. There is what is known as cause and effect. When you fix one problem it may sometimes cause other issues to show up because the car was not working properly to begin with. If you go always ask for Vel, the owner, he knows his stuff!!!!

I took two of my cars to get fixed and of two one got fixed but was left worst then what it started. I called and explained to them the problem and they said to bring it back and then when I took it back they told me to wait.NOW I cant even go more then 50 that my car shakes and the noise is still there. I was charge alote of money for a job that was not satified to me. I called and told them that I was very disappoint and that my car was worst. I took my car in 2 1/2 weeks ago, but the problem is still there. I leave it up to you all if you all want to take your cars there but I know I wont cause they dont even call you back to give you status on anything... MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN......car is worst.....Good Luck any one that goes there......

The Mechanic is true about his warranty. He repaired my radiator fan, ac, filled up with coolant all for free because it fell under the warranty for my initial repair there even though the primary issue was not their fault.
