Car repairs of any kind can be frustrating. Auto collision repair has the potential to be the most frustrating of all. Especially when it's not your insurance company that your dealing with, it's the other guys insurance company because it wasn't your fault.Thankfully I had Brandon at the Body shop handling everything for me. He communicated with me throughout the process and went above and beyond what most consider customer service these days.He dealt with an unnamed insurance company that was trying to pull all kinds of stuff to help themselves, not me.My vehicle was repaired to my complete satisfaction and I would refer anyone I know or meet to Brandon's shop.I literally saved the Auto nation collision repair garage as Brandon's shop in my contacts, because he took care of me as if it was his name on the sign out front.His customer service was excellent, he made a frustrating Auto collision repair issue something I now look back on as a positive experience.An employee who takes ownership of his position and exceeds expectations, you don't see that every day.Respectfully submitted with gratitude.Jeff Conger

Disappointing. I needed a bumper replaced. We ordered it early and had it painted so I could bring in my truck and have the installation done in one day. It took 8 days. I had a very difficult time getting information, but apparently several shop errors caused the delay. It was painted wrong the first time. Then it was scratched during installation and had to be repainted. I finally gave up trying to call for information and made other transportation arrangements. In the end, the finished product is good, but it was very frustrating getting to that point. I was told I would receive a discount because of the delay, but that never happened. The sales rep wasn't even available when I picked up the truck. Not the kind of customer service I expected from AutoNation.

Short: non existent quality control, low quality repairs, very long repair times, sometimes very good communication sometimes extremely poor, multiple points of damage done to car in their care. DO NOT RECOMMEND.Long: I took my Jaguar F-Type convertible on December 29th to Autonation Collision Katy with damage to the drivers side door and rear panel. A rough estimate of maybe 4 weeks depending on parts. I received regular updates from Stephanie throughout January.On February 13th (six weeks later) I went to pick up the car. From 5 feet away I could immediately see the hood was not right. The drivers side door was repaired but hood was on crooked, the hood had been improperly buffed and had significant swirling and hologram effect, there were several deep scratches to the passenger door, the front bumper was scratched from being driven into something. "Quality control" had missed all of this.Stephanie agreed that the some of the repairs were poorly done and damage had been done in their care after checking their photos and I was told they would fix it asap and someone would be in touch about a rental car. After speaking to the manager Jimmy on February 14th he again assured me that it would be a priority and they would organize a rental car for me.On February 19th (a week later) I had not received a call about the rental car so I called them and picked up a rental car on February 20th. I checked the progress on the repairs, in the whole week that they had had the car they corrected the buffing on the hood and straightened the panel.February 26th (another week later) I received a voicemail from Stephanie updating me that they had STILL not yet repainted the door or bumper. February 29th left a voicemail asking to be updated on the progress and did not receive a call back.March 4th after leaving multiple voicemails for both Stephanie and Jimmy I finally got through to Jimmy by calling reception and waiting on hold. The bumper and door panels had finally after three weeks been repainted but the third party they use had repaired the wrong wheel, the the car was STILL not ready. Just ridiculous.Picked the car up today and the quality of work is poor. Orange peel texture to one of the door panels. Embarrassingly low quality work is a consistent theme here.Between the time spent repairing the initial damage and repairing the damaged that happened while in Autonation Katy's care they had my car for 68 days.The repairs to the damage they caused were dragged out over three weeks, it shouldn't have taken THREE WEEKS to repaint two panels and buff a hood when they did the damage themselves. It should have been a priority! VERY UNHAPPY.

Omar was extremely helpful! I had to get on a international flight and had a limited time frame to get my new tailgate repaired before departing. He made sure it was done before I left and surprised me how fast he got things done. Thanks Omar!

Stephanie and the technicians did an excellent job of fixing my land rover after the dealership took four months of doing nothing. Definitely awesome people.

2 side windows were broken out. They got glass in next morning. Rented car for a day, picked up vehicle next day. They were great.So far no issues! John Emmons took very good care of us.

This is literally THEEE WORST possible shop to drop you car off at. Keep going!!! I dropped my car off in November 2022 and I am literally STILL without my car. Everyday I hear a new excuse as to why it's not ready. I have had my original case canceled and attempted to go through the other party's insurance simply because the tech Eric "liked them" better. They told me parts were not in stock when I verified they were through other companies. There is no regard of urgency and no concern when delaying production. I would not send my worst enemy to this center. If you have other options use them.

Car was hit from behind, said they could not even look at the vehicle for another week. Set up appointment people in the office are not friendly or attentive. Once care was being worked on hole process took about 5-6 weeks. Never got updates on vehicle. Had to call them to get a call back. Once repair was complete everything looked good. When driving home noticed that blind spot alarm on passenger side was on constantly. took it back and they had it for another whole day had to take off bumper again and connect something that was missed. Not impressed and would not recommend.Service: Body & Trim

Lovely finished result, needed new front bumper replaced and wiring on one side for fog lights. Brandon walked me through the damage rough quote, checked it in... 2 weeks later all done and quote was spot on.

Quality - Sloppy. The moment I opened the hood, I found one bolt missing on the frame, the repaired hood edge interior was not painted; another bolt/screw missing on the wheel wall and a third one missing on the bottom barrier. These are just on the surface. I had no idea how it was done inside the car. The estimator bragged about their quality, however, he probably had no idea about actual quality.Timeline - Delay after delay. If I could know the actual completion day, I would not get my car fixed there. I was originally told the car would be ready in two weeks when I dropped the car on August 10th. Then it was delayed to the end of August, then middle of September. The online pickup date was frozen on September 15th even though the day passed. Then Monday to Wednesday, to Friday. The car was finally ready on September 29th.Communication - Unprofessional. The guy kept on telling me to call the insurance to expedite the process after the repair estimate was initially approved. Kept on telling that he would submit supplemental material until the end. I had no idea when/how/what he submitted. After September 15th, I had to call them to figure out that the car was still not ready till September 29th.Inconvenience compensation - None. I complained about the inconvenience caused by the delays & I asked for compensation/discount. My request was refused. They don't really care about you at all. This was about a $9000 repair job, FYI. I exhausted my month-long rental coverage. I was without the car for an extra three weeks.I would supply screenshots and pictures of missing bolts upon request.

I work in the insurance industry so I received some advice from our auto department on what shops to take my vehicle to. AutoNation Collision Center came highly recommended. Eric Sanchez was my contact there and did a phenomenal job. He kept me posted on the days he said he would and walked me through the repair process with utmost professionalism. I would recommend this shop to any of my friends or family. Great job!

This was the an impressive collision center experience. From having a rental access to the informative updating calls and texts. They worked to make my experience and car great. Not Happy with this Place at all I took my Explorer to have it repaired after a serious door dent and broken mirror they had to re paint my door a second time. Granted they did rent me a truck while they repainted my door. However my rear window wouldn't roll up the day they reassembled the controls. They took No responsibility & said it was coincidental. Thank God it's still under warranty. To top it off my key ring disappeared that said little sister while in their care. Which they took No Responsibility for. ICan Not Recommend the Collision center in good conscience But the Service Dept and Geovani and Henry Rock Gunnar &Anderson in sales is Super Fantastic Guy to buy from the sales and service are Awesome But the collision center needs an overhaul. The new manager as of June 26th assured me was going to happen

Henry and team were a pleasure to deal with in getting our vehicle in and out of the body shop. The communication was excellent throughout the process and they finished exactly when they said they would. Henry was able to get the insurance of the other driver (at fault) to increase their payout through a supplement for additional repairs their adjuster failed to account for in the original estimate. He was persistent with the insurance company until they made it right. If you need their services, I highly recommend the AutoNation collision center and make sure to ask for Henry!Service: Body & Trim

took them over two weeks to fix a bumper which wouldn t be as much of a problem if there was any kind of update but Stefanie failed to answer any emails or calls, making the whole process unnecessarily difficult. was told it was getting painted but the bumper was damaged again? waited for another only for that one to be damaged as well. Most unprofessional service i ve ever seen.

I had the unfortunate occurrence of being involved in an accident in December or 2020. You'd never know it looking at my vehicle. Mark took great care of me, provided weekly updates and advised of delays with parts (thanks to COVID), and the repairs were made in a timely manner. They even cleaned and polished the vehicle, and it looked almost like it did when I drove it out of the dealership. Highly recommend!

This was hands down the best experience with vehicle repair my family or I have ever had. Eric Sanchez the collision center manager was very helpful, punctual, and fair not only in his estimate but with repairs and time as well. Couldn't be happier with the work they did!

Very happy with our experience here. Everything was prompt and so professional! Eric made us feel welcome and taken care of, and we really appreciated him taking the safety and appearance of our vehicle so seriously. A very smooth and pleasant process overall! Highly recommend this place.

I went through my insurance company to get a SMALL fender and a bumper fixed on my 2010 dodge challenger and my adviser Chris took down all my personal information and informed me he would call me when the car was inspected for more damage or lack their of, he told me they were really fast and could get parts quicker than other mechanic shops so the car should be done within a week or so. I never received one phone call from him or the shop about my car, I had to call them every 2-3 days to get an update on my car, then they waited around for my insurance company to send them more money for "additional damages" and that delayed my car from being fixed which i was NEVER made aware of. The manager did drop my deductible because of the lack of communication between me and the adviser/company I appreciate that but I would never recommend this company to anyone it took them almost 2 weeks and 3 days to finish my car and when I arrived to pick up my car it STILL was not ready. Please do better with your future clients than you!

Was promptly contacted by the manager who was very informative and transparent about all the work that has been done to my car. I've revised my review after it was brought to my attention that the dealership had outsourced the work several times instead of sending it to the collision center to be done correctly. Chris has instilled faith in me that this will be done correctly by his team and I am eager to have my car looking as it should.

Stay away from this place. Took 2 months for repairs. Had to call multiple times to get any updates. Worst thing was my car came back with more damages than that from collision. All additional damages done while the car was at their shop. After a lot of calls from me and lawyers finally they agreed to repair it. Which took another month. Horrible service. And they messed up the interior of the car as if they were using my car as dumping ground.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

It took them a month to fix our car for just replacing the stolen wheels and some body work. Everything is going well but we keep on making follow ups every week and reminding that our car rental will be due on the 3rd week that our car is with them. In this case they kept us assured that they will pay for remaining days of the car rental after the due date from the insurance. Our car is now ready and we asked about the car rental extra days payment they said they will settle on they side. The next day we saw our card charged with the rental. They asked us for the receipt to be reimbursed. We gave it to them and they call back and said that they will not pay for it. Their reason was the car should be with them from the time of loss. We had some issues with the insurance that's why it took a while for us to bring the car nevertheless they shouldn't told us that they will pay for the extra rental days. I should have given them with 5 stars if they kept their word. Now we're stuck to pay for the rental after they have given us false assurance.I have no problem with my service advisor Josh because he always do the best thing on his end. It's their manager AARON that i got issues with. He's the one that denied my car rental reimbursement for some ridiculous reasoning. Again for your information AARON i was given by your advisors an assurance that they will take care of the rental extra days..if i only knew at that time that you are not going to pay for it..i should have been knocking on your door everyday and every hour and tell you to finish up my car right away..

My car had a fender bender in the front. I took the car to Automation at Katy for collision repair, thinking that it is a national reputable company.I have emails from the sales rep where she agreed that if they found more damage after opening the car, I would rather take my car back without the repair.They did find more "damage" and wanted more money to repair it. I asked for my car back and agreed to pay a reasonable service charge.At this point, Chris S. who identified himself as the Director took over. I paid 2 hours for the labor to assemble and disassemble the car. I was asked to pay 25% restocking charges, a 3 day car storage charge and other assorted charges - a total of $578 to assess the damage.At no point in my email conversations, was I made aware of these charges. Chris S pointed to a board hung in the inside room which listed the costs!!! Why would I go to the room inside to see the costs???If I had known these costs upfront, i would not have given my car there. Autonation of Katy is a rip-off. BEWARE.

Victor from Autonation Collision was very professional and coordinated with the paint/tech prior to - ensuring that he can paint the bumper when the part arrives so I don't have to turn in my car for them to keep for 1-2 days, so I can go to work. He has worked with me and communicated with my insurance diligently and I respect both ends -Only thing is that the google maps takes you to the dealership and they pointed me to go to the parts shop, which was the wrong shop, - redirected to the collision shop. Perhaps the staff working in all three should be able to point customers in the right direction the first time around.

This Ford collision shop is highly recommend the repair work completed was done in a short time frame and good quality work. Victor was the best to work with, very knowledgeable, kept me informed through out the entire process, and answered all questions and concerns.

Edit: new dent located due to Autonation Collision Katy. They admitted fault. Will update review with that outcome.Neighbor damaged my truck bed with a small dent. Autonation Collision Katy pulled out the dent without removing the truck bed cover- damaging the cover. Insurance obviously won t cover the damage Autonation caused and they are unwilling to eat the mere $200 for their own mistake. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone I know go somewhere else for collision repair.

I was treated with the upmost respect and courtesy from start to finish. The entire team was engaged and made a negative situation turn into quite a positive process. Speed and efficiency here are too notch as well!! Highly recommend. They are very accommodating with insurance requests and claims and made the claim process a breeze! Thank you again for doing such an amazing job!

My experience was amazing. I took it in the day before Thanksgiving they told me it would be done by the following Monday, I call them to verify that it was ready. It was, they only had to finish buffing it out and cleaning it out. They called back with-in 2 hours and stated that it didn't look right, and they would walk down personally and extend my rental car for me. They told me two more days such polite and cordial people. I picked it up in two days, and it looks better than it did when I bought it.They were very professional and polite.
