Mr. Alex and his whole shop are a great group of people. Not only that. They have great customer service and keeps updated information on your vehicle and keeps his word. I took my 97 Ford OBS to him and he did a great job. It took him 2 days to do it as well. Thanks again and I truly appreciate y'all service. I trust these guys with my vehicles. I can honestly say i have a new mechanic whenever i have any problems and at home

Mr. Alex was so professional and honest thru the entire repair of my car. My vehicle needed repair because I had metal flakes in my oil. He replaced my entire engine was very transparent and kept me informed through the entire process and got. Him and his family are so welcoming and friendly they were a true blessing to me during this holiday season. Me being a female with little to no knowledge about cars he was super informative. I am originally from Alabama and I have had many encounters with mechanics in Texas but Alex's business is top tier. Quality work and parts, great pricing. 100/100 I recommend him for any of your auto repair repair services.

I would like to thank Mr. Alex for his honesty, integrity, and the excellent service he provided to me recently. After being scammed by another repair shop (which cost me thousands of dollars), Mr. Alex recommended that my engine be replaced. He was able to find a good used engine with a one-year warranty. He quoted me a fair price before the work was completed. Remarkably, he was able to replace the engine in two days, and the final price was exactly what he previously quoted. There were no extra additional costs like many repair shops tend to add, in order to increase their profit. Although I live in New Orleans, I was able to trust him to complete the proper work on my son's 2011 Hyundai Sonata. As long as my son lives in Houston, he will never go to another auto repair shop! Alex is a competent, honest, and trustworthy mechanic. He completed an engine job for my younger brother, after he was scammed by another local mechanic. We are completely happy with Alex s work and assistance during this process. I highly recommend his services!

Alex, is a very trustworthy mechanic. I took my Chevy equinox in today, thinking I had a transmission problem but come to find out it was something much simpler. He is such an honest & humble man. Alex, Is a very trust worthy mechanic and honest business to service your vehicle. He recently serviced my 2008 Hummer H3 with a new engine installation. The first engine that he brought in was a 2009 with 75,000 miles but it didn t work because the sensors and a few other things did not match up, and with that being said it was pulled and I wasn t charged for the engine exchange.Alex, kept me informed every step of the way while searching for a new engine. The next engine that was located and only had 60,000 miles on it and it was installed later that same week. He kept my truck for a few extra days just to make sure that everything was in good working order before I came to pick up my truck. We test drove it together and it turned out to be the best decision that I ve made. Thank you, Mr. Alex.

Life can be challenging when you are a 76 years-old woman with car trouble. My ABS light kept coming on. I thought it was because we had a cold spell, and I needed air in my tires. The tire company checked the air and said it was a tricky sensor. I took it to my regular mechanic to get a check-up and inspection. He reassured me is was just a faulty sensor and that I would likely not have any problems on the road during my upcoming vacation. But, he advised that I needed spark plugs and an engine flush.Knowing that a 3000-mile trip was ahead of me with two precious passengers: my grandson and a friend undergoing cancer treatments, I didn't trust my car on the road. My daughter told me to go to Alex Engine Transmission, her trusted mechanic. Following her advice, I was immediately set to ease by his professionalism, thorough knowledge, and mechanical expertise regarding all sorts of makes and models of cars including my 2013 Kia.Not only did he uncover the ABS problem, but he also removed and replaced my spark plugs, wheel speed ABS sensor, and harness and replaced my bearings for a reasonable price in an unbelievably fast turn-around time so I could get on the road. He said it was good that I got the work done because it was possible that my wheels would have locked up and I wouldn't be able to go anywhere.I recommend Alex with 100% conviction to anyone who needs their auto repaired at a reasonable rate.Services: Tires, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Hello all! I had my food truck serviced by Alex yesterday. Replaced all four shocks. Gave a fair price and completed the work quickly and professionally. Would highly recommend. Thanks to Alex I m able to drive my truck cross country from Texas to California with no worries.

I visited this place due to the reviews on the website. I felt Alex was honest and transparent with me from the first moment. I would never regret deciding to allow him to fix the transmission on my Nissan Rogue. I love the fact that he communicates with you through the process. He has excellent customer service and always keeps you updated. I trust him will continue to take my car if I need it in the future. I took a chance on this shop based on reviews alone. My transmission was out and I was in a tough spot. Alex was great to work with from beginning to end. He was able to source and replace my transmission in great time. He was easy to reach and communicated with the through the whole process. It s been a month since I got my car back from him and it s running great with no issues. Good mechanics are hard to find but Alex is definitely one of the few.

Took my mustang in needed a engine replacement... Alex was very detailed in everything that was being repaired and replaced very experienced and more affordable than most. Had my car complete within the week and covered extra part and labor for free this man is a blessing and I will definitely bring my other vehicle in the future to Alex ....THANKS BUD

Alex is an honest and knowledgeable shop owner. Another transmission shop told me it was my transmission and Alex detected an untested issue. Ended up not being my transmission. He was able to fix it and I saved quite a bit of $$.

The best place in Katy to take your car if you have a problem. I have taken two of my cars, one for a Transmision replacement and another one for an engine. Cars have been working great! No problems at at. Prices are very reasonable and cars were ready within 3 business days!

If you ever need quick work and proper work done on your engine call Alex. I brought my Kia to his shop last Saturday for some trouble with my engine and just picked it up; Alex had my car running just like new again. We've taken two cars to Alex -- once to replace an engine in an old truck and once to do a check on a vehicle we had just purchased. Alex was open about what was good and what needed fixing. He's quick and honest about what repairs need to be done...he even caught multiple things the dealership said they fixed but hadn't. Don't know where we'd be without his help! If you need an engine or transmission replacement, Alex is the guy!! He replaced me engine almost a year ago in my Dodge Charger RT and I haven t had any issues ! Very professional work and the owner is very nice and patient too. Answered my questions and concerns with great patience. My does edge has transmission issues and the whole car shakes when in gear, and Alex and his crew fixed my car fairly quickly at a reasonable price. Highly recommend them.

Went in because transmission would not shift past 3rd gear. Alex informed me that I needed to replace the transmission. He found it on Friday, he received it on Monday and Tuesday he was done. Mr. Alex is an absolute God sent! I am so grateful for his hard work and kindness! He is an honest professional I have been bringing my 2000 Honda CRV to him for over 2 years. It is a family owned and run business. Every time I bring my vehicle to him he is able to fix it in a timely manner and with fair prices. I contacted Alex to replace the water pump in my daughters vehicle. We took the vehicle to Alex and he insisted that he do his own diagnostics even after already having the water pump ordered and delivered. (The water pump was being delivered when we pulled up.) I believed the water pump was the issues but Alex determined it was a simple fix and within no time, the problem was solved. Alex could have simply replaced the water pump, charged us several hundred dollars and we would have never known otherwise. In my experience, most mechanic's simply do not care enough about service and gaining long term customers. Most are in it for the quick fix, quick buck and don't care if they ever come back. I firmly believe Alex genuinely cared about not only fixing the vehicle properly and saving us money but gaining our respect and possibly long term business. In the time we were at his shop, we had many conversations, not only about cars and trucks but about everyday life. We met his wife and a son who is currently serving our country in the US Army and we walked away not feeling like customers but like we gained a few new friends. I will contact Alex anytime my daughter has trouble with her vehicle and I will drive the 2 1/2 hours from home to take my vehicle to Alex should I have issues. As far as I am concerned, Alex is the best mechanic I have ever come across and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a mechanic.Jason Bass

Alex took on a difficult job replacing the entire engine of my food truck. He did it at a fair price, always notified me of any problems along the way and showed them to me. Dealing with old vehicles is never smooth, he helped me as much as he could to keep within my budget. Great service and I will be back again because of his up front honesty.
