Had to go back to this place 2 different times because the work they do is questionable. The first time I went back was for the tip of the exhaust the weld just came off. After that I investigated the rest of the work they did and come to find out these people installed the whole right side of the exhaust pipe on the driveshaft meanwhile I was told by the owner it wouldn t hurt me to wait a while because he s busy at the moment. Take a look at the picture I attached with the car on the lift. If you look closely to the exhaust tips it s two different methods holding those tips on .

Been coming here 16 years. Always quality work for a good price. Stopped by yesterday for exhaust tip installation on my 03 Mach 1.

I had to have my muffler replaced (I had it wired on with mechanics wire so it wouldn't drag) so I googled, this shop had the highest ratings in my area so I came by, upon inspection, not only was my muffler hanging on, but my resonator was hanging by a thread too, I found out they also did Struts & allow you bring your own parts. They were able to get everything taken care of at a decent price versus what I was quoted at a brake check a year ago. They are professional & honest. For a mechanic shop that is hard to find now days, especially in the city. They also give a 1 yr warranty with their work I will definitely come here again should I need any work done that is within their capabilities. I HIGHLY recommend this shop.

I went to Affordable Mufflers today based on the Google reviews online, and I was completely satisfied with the service I received and the cost. Manny and his team are really good at what they do! I got a new catalytic converter, and new rear brakes because I needed them. I am an older woman, and a bit apprehensive about car repairs, but Manny treated me with respect and honesty. I highly recommend him.

Manny and his crew never disappoints! They are honest and to the point, and never misleading. I also like that they let you bring in your own parts as I can t tell you how many times I find things for less on eBay or Amazon. Manny is cool with that! The quality of his work is good enough for anything short of a Ferrari or similar so you can trust him with your car, be it a daily driver or a specialty vehicle. Go see Manny first!

Manny, you guys are awesome. I highly recommend Affordable Muffler LLC. They did an excellent job replacing the catalytic converters that were stolen from my truck. I also had a theft shield installed and rear shocks replaced. I was in and out in less than an hour. And the price was definitely very Affordable. Once again you guys are awesome. Thank you for your professional service.

All I can say is WOW. These guys are incredible! The owner is an exhaust artist! I installed an aftermarket 5" exhaust on my diesel in NC. On my 3 day journey to TX the roads were terrible and my exhaust took a beating. I stopped in and they pulled me in and inspected it. They used a saw to shorten the pipe and a torch to re-bend all the brackets. The kit I bought obviously did not fit correct and was too long. They got everything done in less than 30 minutes start to finish. I was so impressed I had them install a 10" stainless steel exhaust tip. And now my exhaust looks and sounds amazing and is installed with muffler master craftsmanship!They could have charged me anything because I was desperate with my exhaust dangling half falling off but they were more than fair. I couldn't be happier!!!Thanks again guys!!!

Update 31Jan2022. I brought my truck in to remove a stuck lug nut with damaged stud/bolt. Pulled up, drove on the ramp, they were able to shear the bolt off, remove tire, had a replacement stud/lug nut literally delivered in 2 min, and my truck repaired in less than 10 min total. Originally I had my truck at Toyota for a oil change and they told me can't get lug off, will be $300 to repair it. Miguel fixed me up in 10 min for $20. I could not be more ecstatic about a repair! Stop messing with the big shops and come here. These guys are great, quick, and I really trust them.Older review (just as good):Took my truck in to get some welding done on exhaust that Toyota would not complete. The tech was very very good, owner and tech went over the work that Toyota did, recommended a few slight tweaks to make the work even better. Everyone was very kind and in the end they did the work for absolutely minimal money. I could not be happier and wish I had come to these guys at the very beginning instead of Toyota. Extremely happy to have met this team at Affordable Muffler. Great work! Great people! They honestly and very quickly earned my trust.GregServices: Exhaust, Tires

The customer service here was decent, but I do have questions regarding the quality of the resonator install they performed.I was able to get a look at the welding job once I got home (they had lowered the lift down before I could inspect at the shop) and became concerned. I've seen the other pictures of their welding work and it looked good, solid and uniform. However, the job that was performed on my car doesn't resemble those pictures.I called the shop up with my concerns. Again, their customer service was decent. No hesitation from them to let me take my car back to the shop and put it back on the lift so they could inspect.Once the car was back up in the air, the guy who works there front desk ("Manny", I believe) asked me what I saw wrong, to which I said that I wanted them to see if the install looked okay. Both the front desk guy and the guy who did the install looked at the work, said there wasn't anything wrong, gave one of the welds a quick hit with the welder, then lowered the car back down. I chose not to challenge their judgement.The pictures show the final product that was approved by the shop. The prices are fair, but I wouldn't recommend bringing your car here.Service: Exhaust

Edit 2023: Been coming here for a few years now, and have referred a few people. They have worked on 4 of my vehicles. The work they do is great, owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, and the crew works fast. I will continue to come here for any exhaust work I need.I drove an hour to come to this place, because of the great reviews. They are not lying. This place was awesome! They put an exhaust on my truck in about 30 minutes. The owner is very friendly. AND the pricing is very fair!! Would visit again.

Took it in to get a hanger welded so my exhaust wouldn t hang. They ended up taking off a genuine BMW hanger and used a piece of metal they bent as a bracket to hold the hanger. Only notice because I had to lift my car up. Never coming back again.

Can t say enough good things about these guys. Truly honest and extremely well priced. I d give them more than 5 stars if I could. Will def return with any exhaust/muffler issues I ever have. We need more companies like this!

I came in with a noisy exhaust and the guys did a great job fixing it in 15 mins. Left with a quiet car and for a super affordable price. Highly recommended.

So I was not referred here I went here based off the reviews and EVERYTHING people are saying is TRUE. I went as soon as they open and was waiting until they open they got me in told me the issue Mr. Manuel was so kind as to what i needed done cost alot even showed me the price. Because being a woman going to these shops alone can be a gamble. But he was upfront honest and direct. I accepted the service, as we waited for my part that was delivered wrong twice Mr. Manuel was getting on the part company about the matter which showed he STANDS up for his customers. I had been there a few hours and was outside taking a call when he asked me to come it he had bought me lunch and apologized for my wait WHICH WASN'T HIM OR HIS SHOPS FAULT. I really felt welcomed by him and his staff we talked laughed shared stories. Without going into great detail Mr. Manuel blessed me and brought me to tears i will definitely recommend him to anyone

Love getting my sports exhaust with them. Very good pricing and will definitely come back to do res redesign with them. Shop owner was very nice and patient with me and my vision for my exhaust system.

I brought in my 1987 Monte Carlo SS here to have the entire exhaust replaced, and they said it would be done in about an hour! One quick hour later, I get a call and I come back to see a very high quality job done and paid an incredibly reasonable and honest price for their excellent work. New exhaust sounds great and I am very impressed with their work! I wouldn t bring my car anywhere else to have the exhaust worked on, this is THE place to go!

Manuel was fabulous! After my daughter had been diagnosed with cancer and her previous car was totaled if that wasn t enough, her new car had the catalytic converter stolen from her apartment garage building. Manuel replaced it fast as well as the sensors. Not only that, he custom made an anti theft protective cage for the newly installed catalytic converter, all included in the insurance s estimate.

Mr. Manny has to be the most genuine mechanic owner I ve ever met! As a woman I am always skeptical or nervous I am being misled. He s honest and I will go to him everytime!! Thank you so much and I would HIGHLY recommend him and his team!

My Honda Civic had a bottom chasis plate issue while driving to Dallas from Houston and I took it Affordable Muffler and Mr. Manuel Trevino without any hesitation asked his workers to check my car and fix the issue. This was a minor repair but I still wanted to pay Mr. Manuel for his time. But he gracefully declined. I was really moved by his generosity. Prior to going to Affordable Muffler Shop on Dairy Ashford, I called Fernando's Muffler Shop within one block of where I live and was told somebody would call back within 20 minutes..Fernando's Muffler Shop never did..The next day, I called and was told I would need to sign a release and that it may require replacing the entire catalytic converter..I took my 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe to another shop who spent approximately an hour trying to remove the sensor before advising they could not do it..I drove to Affordable Muffler who had the original sensor removed in approximately three minutes..They not only did what the others could not do at all, but made it look easy.Service: Exhaust

The BEST place ever! This is the only place I bring my cars for their fixings (even for things not advertised) lol and I m never turned away and ALWAYS leave happy!
