Great service, friendly staff, excellent results. They have been taking care of our Jeep and Lexus for years. Oil changes, filters, suspension work, batteries, A/C. Reasonably priced and trustworthy. We ve even brought our new Tahoe in a few times for routine maintenance to avoid the hassle of the dealership. Highly recommend

I am a single woman and have finally found a place I can trust that won't skin me alive. I've come in several times very distressed over my car suddenly falling apart and they always get it fixed up at a fair price. It's nice to know that there's someone you can count on.

Had a bolt lodged in my tire, was in-and-out or the shop in less than 15 minutes.Super straight forward service. No up-charges, recommended a more frugal and pragmatic solution due to the age and state of my tires, were about as quick as any shop I ve ever been to.Can t recommend this place enough. They even parked my car in reverse, so I could leave easily on my way out into the super busy road.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

These guys have been taking care of our vehicles for over nine years. In that time, 2 of my wife's cars and 2 of my Jeeps. Honest service! Took my car in to see if I needed new tires since the tread depth was looking a little low to my untrained eyes. AA went out and looked at all the tires on my car and told me I didn t need any new ones, and they told me to instead come back in 2 years!They could have tried to pressure me into getting a new tire but they didn t. I really appreciated the honest service I got, and will definitely be coming back once I need new tires.

Quick good work but expensive I m not a mechanic but I m pretty sure screwing in a handful of bolts for 10 minutes or less isn t worth 68$ still good work tho ! Thanks

I'm in Houston for cancer treatment. I drove from Ohio. My car had issues some of which I would normally fix myself. My wife, caregiver, would need a dependable car while I'm inpatient, and I didn't want anything going wrong. I found AA Auto Care & Tire on Google Maps. They had a decent rating.I got a quote based on my description of what was wrong and the parts that were needed. I was getting daily treatments at MD Anderson so had very small windows to get the work done. It was around $1,500 worth of work.The owner pre-ordered all the parts and planned an exact schedule when the work could be completed. He included an additional contingency date if there were problems. The contingency date was not needed. The shop did all the work correctly the first time. All of the work was completed as planned within a day. Everything worked as planned.I was actually amazed a shop could plan and execute on my instructions, and fit it into my urgent schedule. That right there earns them 5 stars.I can't speak much to the cost. I know car repairs are way up, plus my perspective is from someone who does their own work. One of the items on the list was very close to dealer price. I would expect an independent shop to be around 15% below dealer.All that said, they performed premium work, and I would use the shop again if something goes wrong.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Oil change

Went here for a tire alignment on a Subaru Outback. Everything was fine when I dropped off the vehicle and I left so I could pick it up later in the day. When they started working on my car, the mechanic said I was missing some camber bolts so that they could perform the alignment on my front wheels. I had just installed a lift kit, and referenced Subaru's service manual, so I had to show him where they were and they were indeed not missing. He then proceeded to say that they are not adjustable.Before even figuring out where the actual camber bolts were, the mechanic wanted to charge me an additional $350 for installing two camber bolts ($60/bolt x 2 + labor). Labor for what? Replacing two bolts outside of the alignment, which was already $115.I'm not sure what they were referencing for specs for my car, but I know it was not the OEM service manual as it's called out in the documentation with pictures. I told them I didn't want them to work on my car anymore and to take it off the lift.This is when they told me I still owe for the entire alignment, since they put it on the lift and "did the work." I tried to convince them that I shouldn't pay the entire price since the alignment wasn't to Subaru's spec (confirmed at a second alignment shop). They also said my camber bolts didn't have enough travel in them to fix the alignment, and that I would still need to get the new bolts for a brand new price of $250.The whole transaction felt like a scam. The front desk guy and owner chatted with me about it, and I'm giving 2 stars cause they were super nice. They ultimately just didn't understand my car for someone who does alignments all day.I went to Aline Automotive in NW Houston immediately after, and they were able to get me in spec with no additional hardware with an actual spec sheet. AA didn't even have the right specs to compare my alignment measurements to afterwards.Edit 2/3: The owner gave me a call and offered me a full refund. So that was nice of them.Service: Wheel alignment

They re always friendly and professional. This time I had a headlight bulb replaced. Got there in the afternoon and it took maybe a half hour. A little more than I d hoped to pay but I d tried myself and figured it was too much trouble on a 2009 Accord.

Can t believe this place! Brought my boyfriend s car in for brakes to be replaced. Quoted us 100s of dollars more for services that shops down the street would do for less. Then when we got the car back after the estimate, repairman had completely taken our cabin air filter and broken our glove compartment. Waste of money and have lost all trust in this place. Bummer.

AA Auto Care and Tire was able to get my car in next day. They were able to help with my concerns and were very courteous. They didn t try to over-sell the solution, which I appreciated. They were also flexible with my pick up time ( I called ahead to say I would arrive late). I recommend this auto shop to anyone who wants good service for a fair price.

Went in for a $60 oil change and one week later noticed temp gauge showing hot. Stopped back in to ask if they refilled the coolant or noticed anything wrong. Desk clerk immediately tells me that there is a hole in the radiator. No apology, just forgot to tell me about a minor problem that could have destroyed my engine. Asked him what I should do to fix it and he says get a new radiator . This place is walking distance from my house - would have been nice to have a local mechanic but I will absolutely never be going back.Service: Oil change

Fantastic experience! Very recommendedI have found my go-to mechanic with A A Auto Care.Diagnosed the problems I was having with my car quickly and turnaround was just one day.They are very fair about pricing and took the time to explain the repairs they made and why they were necessary.They did not try to upsell on useless repairs, but instead took the time to explain about preventative maintenance and what the next steps should be to get my car running well.Will definitely be coming back and referring my friends.

Honest guys doing honest work. My dad owns a garage out of state so I never had to worry about taking my car in for repairs until I moved to Houston 3 years ago. I m so glad I found A.A. Auto Care & Tire. They are always able to fix whatever is wrong with my car right away. They offer additional services but are never pushy. I took the advice from neighbors on Nextdoor and was very pleased with my service at AA Auto Care. They were very polite, and they did not price gouge. The car was ready when they promised, and they took it the day I brought it in, which was after noon. Way cheaper than going to my dealer, and I will continue to rely on them now that my warranty has expired.

Without a doubt the best neighborhood auto care shop in the River Oaks. The front desk young lady, Megan, was extremely courteous and the rest of the staff was highly supportive. I came in early in the morning with a flat expecting to be late to work. After only 20 mins not only was my tire ready but they also went above and beyond and fixed a minor electrical problem on my dashboard! If you want honest pricing and dedicated results, this is the place for your car.

Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. AAA auto care and tire saw the problem could be fixed with my vehicle with tightening of parts and therefore didn t charge me. They changed my oil and let me into their shop area to show them my special valve oil plug. Their service and professionalism won me as a customer and I will continue to take my vehicle to them for service or repair. I m glad I could find a reliable repair car repair company.

I appreciate the due diligence of the team members here at AA Auto Care & Tire. I thought I needed a new starter, but it was quickly diagnosed as a fuel filter system problem. Also, they topped off my brake fluid, which made my driving much safer. I was very lucky to rely on AA Auto Care & Tire. My car had so many problems when I took it to AA Auto Care that I can't even go into it. But Greg was extremely helpful, honest, and priced everything fairly. Initial diagnostics are $75 and I think anywhere else costs at least that or more. My initial work didn't fix my car so I brought it back and they of course did not charge diagnostics again, and did everything they could to fix my car. I will be recommending their shop to any friends who need a mechanic. I'm a little obsessed with my car, however, and would've liked for a few more phone updates over the time that it was there. I just called them instead.

I came in to get my 2 front tires replaced. They did that exactly as expected and seem to do a good job. However, they did try to up-sell me all sorts of other services: air filter replacements (at a really high markup) and several fluid flushes and replacements.If I wanted mediocre service and up-selling, I would have gone to a big chain instead of trying support local businesses.

I have been to this shop several times and had great service. Went in last week with a flat tire with my old beat up truck. He patched my tire instead of plugging it and explained why a patch is better then a plug. He said I needed new tires but I told him I was selling the truck in about 6 months. The owner Greg said they only carry Good Year tires and they are very expensive but the best tire. He looked at tires at Discount Tire and told me that they have a tire that is ok and a lot cheaper since I was going to be selling the truck. Greg was very honest, speedy service and put me back on the road. I have been there before for service and again SUPER service!!!! Thanks Greg I will use you again.

I would absolutely recommend AA Auto Care & Tire! I have received really fair prices and education on taking care of my vehicle. I've been here a handful of times for various reasons and always left feeling happy with my service. I couldn't agree more with the other 5 star ratings left here.
