Spoke to Clay the sales representative/manager and he was very accommodating in squeezing my truck in for a diagnostic the follwing day. Only reason I gave this a four star was because I decided not to have them actually go through with the repair. I wanted a worst case scenario price and could not get one. Aside from this the guys there work in a very professional manner. Thank you

Clay was super nice and really helpful! I had to have my transmission replaced, but these guys were super great the whole time. They helped keep the cost really manageable (for needing a new transmission) and they were really accommodating to all my needs. They even helped cover the cost of my Uber ride when I needed to get my car picked up! I so appreciate all their hard work and everything they have done. Very nice guys to work with and really thankful to have found them and worked with them. I very highly recommend them for any transmission needs!

The atmosphere, the customer service. The employees are all top-notch. They understand that your vehicle needs to get back on the road in a timely manner and boy. Howdy they sure do that. I drop my truck off for several issues and they were able to Knock it out. I m back on the road working. I highly recommend A+ transmissions. I would recommend them To anyone. Brent

Dealing with a transmission issue can be a daunting task. Trust and good communication are key in making you feel comfortable. That is exactly what I got with Clay from A Plus. There is a sense of confidence created when your options are explained to you in unambiguous terms and you make that extra mile for your customers. Definitely impressed with my experience.

A+ Transmission Specialists (5809 Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas) is a fantastic transmission repair/replacement facility. They are highly trained transmission specialists who can not only fix your transmission issues, but they are able to communicate to their customers in various ways so that no matter the person's level of understanding about what the transmission is and how it works, the A+ technicians explain & explain until the customer is able to understand.Clay & Travis are quite professional in all they do while still being able to interact with customers in ways that put them at ease.This is definitely the place to come to when you are having problems with your car or truck or whatever other type of vehicle you may be driving....100% of the time.

great customer service, fantastic techs. They helped me with financing so i could pay for my repairs and got the repairs done quickly. Usually when i go to car shops they make me feel stupid, but the techs here were great about explaining exactly what they were doing and treated me kindly (:edit: Clay was especially helpful!

Cannot recommend these guys enough! Clay helped me with my 2014 Ford Focus ST, that need a new clutch, flywheel assembly, master and slave cylinder, and got it done for over $1k less than the dealership quoted me. Honest people, amazing work!

These guys did a great job on my 2013 Nissan Altima, they made it feel like I was in a Cadillac. The shop Managers are really helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Josh and Jesse went above and beyond for me. My transmission needed some extensive work. They were compassionate and made sure I understood what the problems were. They promised me my vehicle the day I requested, but made clear the job most be done correctly. Job was completed on the day I requested. My vehicle is running great. I go back in 2 weeks for follow up, so they can ensure everything is running like it s supposed to. Thank you guys for putting up with me and for all the options to get this vehicle up & running. First is a free 3 hr diagnostic test and then you go from there.If you have transmission issues or suspect, take your vehicle to A+ Transmission!

Amazing first time experience no run around no wasting time or money I was recommended through a friend and it was definitely great affordable prices and financial assistance if needed. Work was done in a timely manner I was kept up to date as the work was being done and staff was amazing with helping me understand what work will be done to my truck jess and clay are amazing I highly recommend them for any driveline or drive train issues go to them they know what to do.

Truly appreciated the professionalism and honesty of the team of Js with whom I interacted. Justin was my main tech. He provided upfront and honest feedback in a timely manner. I also interacted with Josh, Juan and Jesse. They were all helpful and great. Love Jesse s sense of humor.

Overall this place was efficient and friendly, my car took a week to be looked at in the dealership. This place looked at my car the day after it was towed there and was significantly cheaper!Justin and Josh were so incredibly nice! I really hope this was my only time needing my help from them but if I ever need help again, I know where to go!

I took my 2017 Audi A4 to them for a quote to fix the transmission after the dealership quoted me a small fortune. I spoke with Cameron mainly, and his service was phenomenal. I didn't end up getting the repair done solely because I had already spent so much money on maintenance while owning the car. Had that not been the case, I would have had these guys repair it no doubt. They are extremely knowledge on transmission issues and can easily explain what's going on so that someone not so car savy can understand. My car did not drive, and they did not rush me to get it towed off their lot, even after I said I wasn't going to move forward with repair. I hope to never have transmission issues again, but if I do, I will head straight to A Plus Transmission Specialists. Thanks guys!

I took my SUV for a transmission repair estimate and they checked my SUV completely including putting it up on the lift. They then showed my exactly was the problems were and advised me to fix the problems first and then take it back. They were honest and didn't charge me anything? Other places quoted me ,$2500 to o put a used transmission which might not even be the problem! I highly recommend this place as they are honest and professional.

Jesse was very professional and honest. I pulled my vehicle from a GMC dealer 150 miles away to have it worked on with Jesse s team. Better service and actually installed far superior parts (billet torque converter).

Very Professional I had my Transmission repaired they worked with me and was very patient. Excellent experience! The attention to detail by Jesse and Alex exceeded my expectations. I went to a couple other transmission shops before this where they both quoted me for one thing without offering to drop the transmission and open it up and see what was actually wrong with it. I'm glad I went with this choice because I wouldn't have found the issues internally of the transmission if I would have just got the valve body that was originally suggested by the other shops. Danny is a lifesaver. I have been in town a few weeks visiting family and my car started having some problems. Danny had my car picked up from my mothers work and even gave us a ride home so we didnt have to call an Uber. The shop had the car diagnosed and fixed in under 2 days. The whole staff was very professional and sympathetic to my situation. The price I was quoted was cheaper than another local transmission shop and a heck of a lot cheaper than the dealer. These are good guys

The technicians here are super knowledgeable and very supportive. The team is efficient and very professional.My experience with Jon was great! He walked me through both of my visits being extremely transparent about what was needed to keep my vehicle running smoothly. I feel much more confident about handling my truck's maintenance. I highly recommend anyone visiting this location for servicing. This team is great! And the music in the lobby is awesome, great for getting work done as you wait, and with a clean bathroom. A couple perks for sure!!!I do hope your experience is as great as mine was, and even better!
