I give this place one star because I can't give it zero stars . This place is not good the owner tells you lies since the first time telling you a estimate date when is going to be ready and he keeps lying about when it's going to be ready for months my car it's been there 7 months and is not done yet and I don't know it would be because he is full of excuses saying that is not his fault it's he's employees fault that they don't show up to work . He doesn't care about anything all yours parts are laying around full of dust under the rain and sun your property gets damaged and he is not responsible he doesn't take responsibility for his actions don't come here I don't recommend this place I'm exhausted of fighting with this guy my liver is paying my consequences I have no life after getting my car into this place definitely not a shop he has no blood on his face he acts like a victim all of the time he needs a psychiatric and I could keep going telling reason why not to come here I hope you read this before bringing your car here.

At 11:00pm my tire popped on the side of the highway, luckily I was able to pull over and was even covered with the tow and decided to come here.What an absolute amazing decision! They let me stay overnight and I called this morning and they said they could find a replacement and get it fixed within a few hours.I could not be more appreciative of the professionalism and help!Will be coming in the future!

This is a really incredible auto shop. The owner is not only honest and kind, but he has the highest integrity. I brought my car in for a maintenance check and they were able to do a full check, replace all brake pads, check all fluids, amongst several other repairs for a very low price. On top of it all, one of the workers was kind enough to show me all the parts that needed replacing- I received an education in my vehicle as well as the repairs I needed to keep my vehicle safe. I can t say enough good things about this business.

We were visiting from OKC and our air conditioning stopped working. The Houston heat and humidity is miserable and we didn t want to make the drive back to OKC without our A/C. It was still blowing air, it just wasn t cold air. They worked us in last minute put freon and had our A/C working in less than 20 minutes. As we were leaving their shop my husband tried to roll up the driver s window and wouldn t you know, it was stuck in the down position (apparently we ll need a new regulator). They were willing to keep the car just 1 hour longer to put a temporary fix on the window to get us home. They made us a priority and charged us a fair price $20-30 for the temporary window fix and $40 for the freon. We gave them $145 as a thank you for accommodating us and getting us fixed up on such a short notice! We highly recommend their honesty and hard work! Thank you so much! This place is run by an amazing honest person. He quoted me a reasonable price for replacing my motor mounts, and when I came to pick it up, he told me the price was even lower. Never have I encountered that at any other auto shop. Usually they will just upcharge you because they can. Love the honesty and integrity.

I am new to the area and google searched auto repair near me . I am directed to A & J and he helps me right away!! I let him know what was going on with my car and he referred me to an amazing tire shop in the area, and told me to bring my car by for a look.I already had my parts for needed repair, and Arnie was very honest with what needed to happen right away and what could wait.He replaced my brake pads for a great value and is just truly a nice and honest man!! Amazing experience with A&J Auto Repair! My car was not cooling properly so I dropped it off after hours one evening. Arnie called me the next day, diagnosed the problem & fixed it right up. I was so impressed with the professionalism, quick fix & great price. I ll be back to A&J for any future car problems for sure!

I love A&J! They are such a hidden gem. They don't spend money on frilly office decor and focus on providing great customer service and keeping their customers' best interest in mind. Their repairs are very reasonably priced and they are fantastic to work with. I recommend them to everyone who has auto issues!

Oh the amazing quality work here. Drive on past them. Go to the nearest McDonalds, the quality of workmanship is soo much better. Might not get your vehicle fixed, but at least you feel like you get what you pay for.

Best service ever. Thank you guys for providing this service. No towing, no waiting in crowded lounge, just great experience for people to be in their own comfortable home while these great honest, professional guys did an outstanding clean repair on our car.5 stars and more definately would reccommend their service. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family. The owner was very nice and personal. He took the time to explain the car parts and what the issue was and what was causing it. Since I am a female and do not know much about cars, he could have very easily taken advantage of me. However, this was not the case he gave me the best price around Houston and actually did not charge me what he usually charges for an A/C test. I will definitely be going back to this place for future problems with my car.

I was involved in a hit and run and the closest repair shop near my house was A and J. I called them and they let me bring my car in. They fixed my car in less than a week, and helped me with any issues or questions I had. This repair shop is run by genuine guys that really care about helping you and getting you back on the road. Thanks to A and J, I was able to get back on the road as painless as possible. If you live in the heights area, I strongly recommend bringing your car here.

Came here for a battery replacement and after replacement the very next day my battery dies and I start running into issues. I took it back and they said it was the alternator, I decided to take it to another mechanic and they showed us that they loosened the alternator connection and loosened the negative connection.These guys are scams are crooks trying to charge us $500 for a new alternator.Do not use them.Service: Battery

Car died in the parking lot across the street, kindly walked in and asked to use jumper cables. At first he said he didn't have any because "people don't bring them back". I responded with wanting to pay him money or leave my license if he didn't believe I would bring them back. He re-iterated the he didnt have any... I said wow a shop without jumper cables.. and before I could say another word he told me:"I have a charger pack but I won't let you use it"You can tell a lot about a shop by the quality of the owner, and after reading the reviews already posted, even though I didn't get any service done I would say just stay away!!

Fair pricing, friendly service, quality work with quick turn around. Have has several repairs done here and always happy with the results.Owner prefers cash or check, which I m sure helps keeps prices low.

My buddy took his truck here, and they did him completely wrong. The owner laughed at him and told him go ahead and file a lawsuit. Found food wrappers and other items in the truck. The battery was put in and held with a strap instead of putting in a battery holder and tiedown. Smh just taking peoples money
