Awesome service!! Love the front desk ladies!! Love this place and people!! They even will help when you are having a bad day. Ken, is a great owner and business man. He even listens to the customers that seem to know more than the shop owner. Highly recommend these lovely people!!! Jeff

I took my truck in for a miss fire. 3 weeks later ,I'm told I need a new engine. I told them to halt and had my truck towed to a reputable mechanic shop in Kingsland. 600$ dollars later Im back the road. They wanted 8000. Don't take your vehicle there. They just lost a city wide maintenance program.

Took my car in for an alignment, I was quoted 70ish to check and see if it needed parts or an alignment and another 200ish if it needed an alignment. After leaving my car and having the alignment done it turns out the alignment was done at O Malley Tire & Automotive. O Malley Tire only charges 160 for an alignment and nothing to check it outYour explanation of the charges is a far cry from how it was explained to me in your shop. Either your employee needs to be trained better or it is dishonest at its core. If it weren t for the fact I had a tire issue and went to O Malley I would have never known the truth. Your shop was recommended to me by a family friend so I just trusted you by default. That trust is gone along with my friend s. HSB and Marble Falls is a small community dishonestly and distrust go a long way. Stop playing CYA.Now you have replied to my yelp review with a completely different answer. You admitted you were double charging, but don t worry now that you got caught you are going to stop.what about all the other things you are overcharging for? You sir are a slime ball and it s people like you that give mechanics a bad name.

Had my oil changed, they were quick and efficient. They didn t try to sell me extra stuff which I appreciate. Will continue to use them for oil changes, routine maintenance and repairs.

The shop people are very nice & professional & the shop is very clean & pleasant to wait in.Took our car in because the under side was rubbing & there was a rattle. They said it would be $150. to put it up on the rack. When they got under they saw something poking out from under the engine area! It was a 6" round steal wheel like thing that weighed about 5lbs!How in the heck did that get in there?! Any way they removed it & they didn't even charge us!!Highly recommend!Thanks Matt

I was on vacation with my family & needed a quick fix for my Toyota Sienna. I didn t know where to get help. I Googled some mechanic shops in the area & decided to try Grease Monkey in Horseshoe Bay as they were close to the resort. They were very friendly & got me in right away. My vehicle was repaired in less than 30 minutes at no charge. Needless to say I highly recommend Grease Monkey.Joe W.

The last time I visited for a interlock calibration, it was done very promptly. The calibration I had done prior took quite some time sense the machine was being worked on. Other than that, they treat their customers very respectfully and I appreciate that.

This establishment is an absolute joke and I say this with complete sincerity. A total of 8 service visits & weeks of downtime later still could not resolve original issue. Finally had to bring vehicle into local dealership for secondOpinion. Turns out G.M. overcharged my AC system by a whopping 15.8oz!! Shortly there after due to this gross overcharge the AC compressorfailed and they would not cover it. Quoted me $2500 to redo the same job they previously botched. Dealership did the same exact job for $500 out the door & warrantied the defective compressor for me. 1 day turn around I might add. Wouldn t trust these guys to change a tire let alone perform a major repair. New techs & new employees shuffled in and out every few months speaks volumes. Do yourself a favor avoid these guys and the inevitable headache/ highway robbery associated with them.And now..Queue the empty meaningless corporate response offering no actual resolution just more empty words and false promises

My wife s car had to be towed to their location. Her car broke down on a Saturday night, GM emailed me back immediately asking what they could do to help. AAA towed the car and left it at GM. First thing Monday morning they sent us an estimate which we approved and the repair was completed 2 days later. We never want our vehicles to break down, but if they do GM will get the call. Also, regular maintenance will be done by them. We are really pleased.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

They tried to upsell services that I did not need. The car only has 17.5k miles. This is the second time that they tried to do this, but I gave them another chance. Don t go here!This is a post script following the owner s response to my review. The battery in question is less than a year old. Yes, it had a bit of corrosion on the positive terminal, which is easily remedied. I put my multimeter on it after driving it home, and it showed 12.6 volts with the engine off, which is normal. My car is serviced by a certified Corvette mechanic, and he says my brake system has no water. My car has been garaged it s entire life, and the engine, drive train and body are in mint condition. My window tint is below 25%, but I will have a Window Tint Exemption from my MD this week. I sat in your lobby for almost an hour only for you to come out and tell me you wouldn t pass my car on your inspection. The customer-focused thing to have done was to come out and tell me about the tint problem and ask me what I would like to have done about it. By the way, there were three other gentlemen in the lobby, and your assistants told each and every one of them that they had numerous other problems with their respective cars for which they had not sought your help. See the pattern here? I get it, you re in business to make money. Upselling can be a good way to increase your revenue stream. In my case, you told me on both occasions that I visited your shop that my braking system contained water. Sorry, they didn t, and that is why I know you are trying to sell unnecessary services. I ll go to Mustang or Wingman for future inspections, and I will certainly not seek your services for future mechanical repairs.

My car has been serviced there since I bought it 3 years ago. Jeep cherokee and so has my old Ford truck. I ve only had the very best of service at Grease Monkey. The entire crew is efficient, knowledgeable, and really friendly towards customers. I use them for both of our autos. They know everything from the old, vintage classics to the most modern luxury automobiles. (And motorcycles, too!). Had a scheduled appointment to get my tires changed and was quoted for 1 hour to complete(which is reasonable) ended up taking over 3 HOURS to complete. Received no answer when I asked how much longer other than looks like they re working on it still . They might be good at other things, but tires they apparently struggle with Service: TiresService: Tires

Just had an oil change and tire rotation. Work was done on time and at projected cost. Ken the owner is always there to support the customer and his employees. Great service! I definitely would recommend them.

I picked up a nail driving today and my tire pressure went down super fast. I stopped and added air so I could make it to Grease Monkey. The guy at the desk told me they were booked and no one could help me. I told him the tire was going down fast. He said again no one could help me. I ended up stranded and had to find a mobile mechanic so I could get home. Don t think these guys will help you.

Ken and crew went above and beyond what I asked for or expected. When my car broke down on me, i had it towed to their shop. I provided some insurance information and Ken took care of EVERYTHING else for me. Grease Monkey dealt with the pesky insurance and jumped through all the annoying hoops required.I had a blown engine, which needed replaced, and there were expected issues which could not be detected until they began rebuilding the new one (which insurance insisted on providing themselves- hence taking much longer than if Grease Monkey could find one themselves).Christal, Ken, and the rest of the staff updated me weekly, as well as answering and responding immediately when I called. They all had some knowledge and the status of my vehicle when I called.When I picked up my 2015 Journey, I was expecting to be financially responsible for a starter and battery, as well as the deductible for insurance on the engine replacement. After a short wait in the lobby while Ken spoke with insurance, I walked out of the door spending $200 out of pocket TOTAL!!! AMAZING! New engine, brand new starter, and battery, not to mention LABOR. I could not be happier!This is not the first time I have used Grease Monkey, and it will not be my last!On a final, and more personal note, I was dealing with personal health issues at the time. I was, and have been able to focus on my health and treatment without the added stress of this vehicle and potentially thousands of dollars out of pocket. I cant explain how much that means to me.I no longer live in the Marble Falls area, but I will continue to make the drive to have Ken and his Grease Monkey crew service my vehicles in the future. Had some issues with my transmission slipping and coincidentally needed an oil change, so I brought my truck in. They were able to replace the transmission fluid and oil in a few hours same day, but also went above and beyond with a full inspection where they noticed my fuel and air filters needed to be replaced, and I was missing a brake fluid cap.The mechanics were super knowledgeable, and talked me through the possible issues that I was having with the transmission, as well as pointing out some small leaks.Definitely going to come back again, I left feeling more knowledgeable about my truck than when I came in, which is everything you want in a mechanic shop!
