We stayed here for 2 nights for the eclipse and really liked the park. We were in a back in site by the cabins and really liked the concrete pad and the special touches like the day lillies and the custom fire pits. We enjoyed the size of the campground and that we could walk the dogs around the ponds and paths. My only complaint was with other campers having loose dogs and the campground not enforcing their own leash rule. We like to sit outside with our dogs (on leash) and relax and we had random dogs running onto our site over and over and it really ruined our relaxation as we had to be on alert trying to keep them away from our dog.

What a great RV park!!! the staff is very friendly and willing to bend over backwards to help you with anything. There is on site propane fill up, which is very helpful. The park sits on 300 acres with RV trails all throughout the backside of the property also doubled as walking trails, which is wonderful. There is a shooting range as well if you feel like throwing some lead around. there is a large stock tank with a fishing dock stocked with multiple species. Canoes are also available to take out on the pond. There are several varieties that you can choose from to park your camper, whether it be back in or pull through also there are several different options to fit your budget accordingly when it comes to what type of spot you choose. large sitting area, which is very comfortable up at the main check-in. There is also ice and drinks/snacks for purchase. The pool, which is located at the front of the property right when you pull in is a wonderful amenity. it is always clean and a wonderful spot to enjoy in the Texas heat with the kids or at night to cool down and take in the country vibes. The bathrooms, which is always how I judge a park are always clean with plenty of toilet paper and hot water. by far the best park I have ever stayed in for the price and the amenities. can t wait to come back and visit. Thank you very much hidden Grove.

We stayed here for the eclipse. Even though the park was full, it did not feel crowded. Big spaces between campsites. We had a large, level, concrete pad that accommodated our forester and teardrop, and our friend's suv. We also had room for two shade tents on the pad.Very nice, new, and most importantly, clean bathrooms. Good water pressure in the showers, generous space, plenty of hot water. The laundry room was way more than you would expect. Lots of machines, in a well kept area.Everyone who worked there was kind, helpful and fun to visit with. We got a flat tire enroute, so we were super late arriving. They let our friends, who were sharing our site, check in and get settled before we got there. As we were hours behind them, it was a relief to know they were not sitting in their car waiting on us forever. Finally, this is a beautiful part of the country. It is well worth visiting. If we ever make our way back, we would most definitely stay here again. They are still building sites and cabins to expand, so it is a work in process, but they are thoughtful in the details and we appreciate that. A very pleasant stay!

The website includes beautiful photos and boasts a "High-end RV park". Perhaps it was at one time, or there are plans to get there again, but I can assure you as of March 2024, this place is a dump. They offer online check-in, so we arrived and went to our site only to find someone already in it. We made our way back to the office and even without asking who we were, the gentleman sent us to another site. We had seen it on our drive through the park so knew it would work for our 45' fifth wheel. From what I observed there is zero prepping sites for arrivals. They are littered with rocks and dirt. Fortunately I had a broom, but there was so much I had to get out my leaf blower! We had no firepit or picnic table and only weeds growing in the flower beds around the patio. The pond views are nothing like you see online. Brace yourself. I saw MULTIPLE RVs with tarps on them giving ghetto trailer park vibes. There was also a Dodge pickup with a boot on it's wheel. There's no telling how long that had been parked there. In addition to my personal experience, my son drove down from Iowa only to discover they had overbooked the cabin he reserved. They tried to put him into a tiny dumpy RV and he said no. Then they offered to put him in the owner's RV. He had no other options so agreed to stay in the RV, but it was dirty, the black tank was full. There was no toilet paper or towels. Do better, Hidden Grove.

Loved this campground. Stayed around a month. Chad and I believe it's his son were super nice and helpful anytime. If we have to come back to that vicinity, we'll be staying there. Pool is awesome. 4th of July fireworks were GREAT. Sorry bout the pool picture. Wrong pool and I don't know how to delete it. Thanks Chad!Kelly D YochumFood & drinks: Beer on site for sale.

I stayed here while doing a travel nurse assignment and loved it!!! Management was very helpful and beyond nice. Very clean and kept up nicely. As a woman being alone, I felt very safe. When I was off, I would go home to my family and leave my trailer for 6 to 7 days and my trailer was always safe. I would stay here over any of the other facilities that I saw around this area. If ever I were to go back, this is the place I would stay. Thank you Hidden Grove Resort staff and residents for making my few months stay so comfortable. I'd give you 10 stars if I could.

I've been here with my camper for a few weeks now, and I love it!! Free basic Wi-Fi, extenders are every other lot, (mine has never buffered) with an option to purchase a higher package. The manager, Chad, is wonderful and kind. He and the other staff, always want to make sure, that we are happy. Recent dog problems, were quickly snuffed out, and taken care of!Do yourself a favor and drive the 10 minutes to Windom Feed Sack for country, comfort food Wed thru Sun!! (Fri/Sat are all you can eat seafood and frogs legs) Mounted, big fire-pits on the higher end, pull through, lots, with picnic tables! Miles, and miles, of mowed, walking trails, ponds, with a pier, paddle boats, and kayaks provided. It's very rural, and country!! Kids are always fishing!! There are different levels of nightly/monthly charges. There is a gorgeous pool, with a little waterfall, the walking trails have deer and natural wildlife! Huge, clean, showers that are free. You can hear the coyotes howling at night. Small store. They have several mail and package bins, that get separated out, for all kinds of deliveries.. And I've never had anything misplaced, lost, or stolen! I'm happy to know I will be here, for the next year. It's very comfortable and safe.. And the other guests always jump in to help! It's like an extended family!Nearby activities: Paris is less than 30 minutes. Bonham, is 20. We recommend going to Windom Feed Sack for the best buffet, serving comfort food, and Friday/Saturday nights, all you can eat seafood/frog legs!! Sherman is only 45, with Dallas an easy couple hour drive.Safety: Staff and hosts live above the office full time. There is always someone on the premises.

We stayed here for three weeks and absolutely loved it. The hiking trails are beautiful with hidden camping spots scattered throughout. My husband and I got plenty of fishing in at their fully stocked pond. The part we loved was the paved RV spots with beautifully decorated patios and hand crafted fire pits. It was very quiet and the park manager Keven was always smiling and ready to help when we needed him. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a peaceful relaxing get away.

Great concrete pads with patio and fire pit. More space than usual between sites. Great pool with waterfall and splash pad for toddlers. Great laundry room. Great 4th of July fireworks. Great pond with beautiful giant lily pads. Peaceful country location. Shopping not far away. Roads are a little dusty as they are gravel.

Nice new park! Very spacious spots for the pull through spots. Very nice fire pits. We had an issue with our RV overnight and they referred us to an awesome repairman who came out and fixed it. They were very gracious in letting us stay a little past checkout to get us all fixed up! I can't wait to go back and see when its finished being built!

I felt like God led us to this place. We spent weeks trying to find the perfect Campspot and everything was booked. My family and myself all wanted different things. I wanted a place with showers and a pool and washer and my husband wanted a place to shoot his guns, the kids wanted a lake to fish and Kayaking and they all wanted in the woods not on a gravel plot and secluded. Days before we planned to leave I came across this place and it has EVERYTHING we wanted and more!!!!!! The staff and owner are so hospitable and bend over backwards to make your stay perfect!!!!! This place is a campers dream and hidden gem! I also saw they have cabins too!!!!I can t begin to thank them for such wonderful hospitality and the amazing experience we had! The best part for my son was riding a four wheeler and the hiking trials!!!! Hands down this place was awesome and we will be back!!!!!

We love this RV park! The owners make everything so easy! I loved that they had a U-Haul on site so it is easy to get the trailer to tow our car, we were also allowed to drive our ATV. My son loved the pond, we caught lots of fish! There are plenty of shaded trails to take our three dogs on long walks and to keep our son busy (he loves exploring.) There is plenty of space for parking (ATV, car, our personal truck and my husband's work truck.) The sites are level very long and very wide, they are not greedy with space at all! The pool is beautiful (make sure you get a key fob for it) the playground my son really enjoyed! They have regular WiFi and premium WiFi for an extra cost we used that and it worked majority of the time. They are really great with yard maintenance! It was 20 minutes to Paris or Bonham which has all the major stores, Walmart etc. There is a dollar general in town, they also have a convenience store on site that sells alcohol, ice cream etc. If you have little ones it is worth checking out the local library for storytime, if you homeschool there is a local co-op, also in commerce I think it is called is a really fun children's museum 40 minutes away. Blair's auto I think it is called is a great mechanic in town, we had to get a few things done there to our truck and car, very cheap an honest! Something also that is crazy cheap is the rate of electric for the RV sites, I nearly chocked in a good way when they told me their prices. We travel for my husband's job otherwise we wouldn't be leaving!

The best customer service we have ever had on a trip. We arrived and our cabin we had reserved did not have a very good AC unit in it (just couldn't keep up with the heat). We went up and spoke to the Resort Manager (Chad Peterson) and he was very understanding and explained the situation to us. As property managers ourselves we understand things happen. Chad went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and switched us to a cabin that had very adequate cooling, he definitely didn't have to do that considering he was 100% booked. The resort has a beautiful pool, ATV trails, fishing pond, onsite propane, full hookups for RV's and a super nice resort store and the grounds are very well taken care of. If you are traveling down Hwy 82 in Texas and need a place to stop with your RV or need a place to rest I would definitely make it to Hidden Grove Resort in Honey Grove, TX and give this place a try. Thanks for a great weekend Chad

Do not recommend you stay here, my husband was down for work and paid 950 dollars for an RV that had roaches all in it and wasn t cleaned upon arrival. The manager isn t professional whatsoever and will not even give a partial refund for an RV that my husband didn t even sleep in one night. I wish he would have taken photos , but if you are looking into renting an RV think long and hard before you rent one here.

We stayed here for a couple of months for work. The park is fairly new. The neighbors are quiet and respectful. They have level concrete pads, and excellent hookups. The manager is an awesome person. Anything I needed or wanted he took care of right away. It has a nice pond for fishing, and walking trails. They have awesome wifi. I could stream anything I wanted day or night. The laundry and bathroom facilities are very clean. They even have a general store with everything from food to games. They have onsite cabin rentals and are adding 4 more cabins and 40 rv pad sites right now. Hidden Grove is a "shouldn't be missed" type of place. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the little cabins for 2 weeks and throughly enjoyed them! The bed was amazingly comfortable. (this comes from a bed-comfort guru) and the walk-in showers were so fun. The management, Chad and Rachel, were the best ever. Everything is new and can't wait for their new extention coming soon. Can't wait for our next visit there!

This RV park was a great stopping point for our travels back east. The grounds are off a somewhat busy route, so if parked in front row you can head cars a little bit it s not bad.The spots are all paved with a nice sectioned off patio spot. There seem to be some more permanent rvs hereIt was very quiet during the day and even in the evening. There s no tree coverage really so the spots are pretty open but they have a fair amount of spacing in between each spot for some privacyFelt very safe hereThe fixtures are new tooWould def come back for another night or two if making my way west againAbout an hours drive to DallasChad the general manager was around walking the grounds. He came over to say hi and let us know even though the general store is closed, we could find on the grounds or use a number listed to call him. We were a little late on checkout but he came over to say no rush and let us know about the 3 mile hiking trail he has around the property!

Quiet, secluded, well spaced out, family-friendly RV Resort. Wife & I took 4 of our kids out for a nice weekend during the Grand Opening. We rented out one of the onsite RVs which was fantastic. We just pulled up to a waiting RV, all set and running, loaded with everything we needed from quality bedding, plenty of pillows, towels, wifi, firepit, etc. The kids enjoyed the huge pond on the first night, was so much room around that it felt like it was our own private retreat.Several resort staff were around, always friendly and asking if we needed anything. Other visitors of the resort were all friendly and most importantly for us, were pretty quiet, especially at night. The location was along Texas / Oklahoma state lines so we visited several historic sites around and enjoyed quiet evenings at the resort. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, welcoming RV resort.

Our family of 6 rented one of the small cabins during spring break and loved it! It rained the entire time, but we didn t care! The cabin is very neat and clean. We cooked on the hot plate, watched movies and popped popcorn, had hot chocolate from the keurig, played games, had campfires with s mores, and fished. Such an easy getaway from DFW. The place overall is still under construction and is coming together. The cabins have all the essentials, are brand new, very nice and well decorated.

Designed poorly, backends are perpendicular to the road and pull thrus have hook ups that are to far back of the site. It should be fine for 5th wheels but be sure to bring lots of extensions otherwise. Also, walking on the grass almost broke my ankle- huge holes randomly, stay off the grass. Rolled my ankle just getting out of the camper. Not cheap either!
