On an 8 hour road trip, our car's tire was completely flat only 2 hours in. Nearest place was Lopez's Tire after getting to a gas station and trying to refill the tire with air. After filling up the flat tire, we heard a hissing noise and knew the tire was going to need to be replaced as soon as possible. We drove to Lopez's Tire Shop and to be completely honest, my friend and I thought the place was really sketchy at first. But it was our only option. A man came up to us and we told him what was going on and he was super nice and helpful. He inspected our flat tire and noticed it had two bubbles and a small hole where the air was leaking from. Fortunately we had a spare tire and he replaced the flat with the spare. The man informed us that the spare was weather rot and it wouldn't withstand long drives and its best to get a new tire soon. Overall, the entire service was a lot cheaper than we expected it to be and most places we've been to. Not to mention the mechanic was the nicest mechanic we've ever met. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have used this place before and always ever have paid standard mount and balance pricing. We shopped the tires locally and no one had them, so we ordered them with Summit in Arlington. Brought them the two tires to be mounted and when done the guy says $75!! Even dealership pricing runs max $22. When my husband questioned why they were charging such a ridiculous amount THIS time there excuse was, yeah, well you didn t buy the tires from us He stated he HAD called around to everyone and no one had them so this justified their price gouging?!?! The guy didn t care and stated, Well you re going to pay. The work is done. When leaving, his tire pressure light came on his dash. Checked the tires and they had aired them to 49psi!!! Make inflation is 32!! We will never use them again!!!!!

Staff saved us last weekend when our tire blew. They were just closing when we barely rolled in.We knew they were ready to go home but had no where else to turn. Thank you very much for what you did. We really appreciated your help. We got to take it home safely.

These folks don't even deserve a one star. My daughter had a blowout on I 35. I was coming 30 minutes away to take the tire off. We called them and explained the situation. And asked if they could stay open 30 minutes later. I was willing to pay a little extra for their time. The lady called back and said they would and they even had a tire. I rushed to get there. I got to the tire shop around 6:15. I originally told them it would be around 6:30. When I got there. They were already gone. No phone or nothing to let us know that they weren't going to stay like they said. Thank you Walmart for helping because Lopez tires aren't true to their word.

The men that work here have always been friendly and their business has fair prices, however on more than one occasion I have gone first thing in the morning and they are NOT there. Business hours on door state 8am but unfortunately it has never been the case when I have gone. 30 mins after opening I call and someone finally answers and said they were open and I explained I had been outside since 8 and there was nobody there. 10 mins later someone finally showed up. I was stuck so had no choice but to wait. I waited a long time for them to show up in the am, but if you show up later I'm sure your visit will be fine.

I had a nail in my tire and they fixed it for $10. They were quick and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Got a nail in my tire during a road trip. Pulled in and the attendant was quick to help me! He had me back on the road within 20 min. After patching my tire! I was so thankful!

Needed a riding lawn mower tire mounted. The guy here got right too it and I has out the door in just a few minutes. I thought the quoted price was very reasonable. Yes, I'd recommend this place.

This place takes full advantage of people. Wife had a nail in her tire, had her come here for a used tire to get by on. They sold her a used tire for $93. Could have bought the same tire new for $60. Sorry SOB, wife didn't know any better and paid the money.

Online and on the door they say 8:00 am opening. I arrived 10 minutes early. I called twice at 8:00 and 8:15 leaving my name and phone number on the cell number listed online. I waited until 8:35 am before I drove away. They never called.

I've been buying tires here for over 6 years, in fact I bought all my new and used tires from this place. I recently paid 72.00 for a used tire, ,10 days ago at the most. The tread blew apart on 35e,, they said I should of pulled over and took the tire off before it blew apart.I will NEVER buy another tire from them.

They are fast friendly and do a great job. Their prices are better than anyone else in Hillsboro. I would recommend them to everybody they're great!!!

Great guys... Go above and beyond... I was getting my tires changed and it was close to 100 degrees, not a nly did he change my tires but offered me and my mother some cold water bottles... Great service...
