As a woman it is difficult to trust your car at local shops or dealerships because they will try to hustle you and upcharge for small fixes. I ve taken my car here twice and they do same day turn around or will have it diagnosed and fixed within 2 days. The prices are fair and they don t try to throw other fixes so you spend more money. Will keep taking my car here for any repairs in the future!

So the technician was great but the owner is flat out rude. I had my AC hose replaced and I had aftermarket caps for my radiator, oil cap and transmission cap. The oil cap isn't on my car anymore so I called the shop just to ask if maybe it was sitting around the shop. He acted like I was accusing them of stealing it telling me "this isn't that kind of shop". It honestly wasn't even a big deal I was simply asking a question. He tried to tell me that aftermarket parts never fit right and it probably fell off. I have had it on my car for over 4 years and it has never come off. I didn't ask for anything from him aside from looking to see of maybe it was set down somewhere. This will be the one and only time I take my car to this shop. Thank you to the technician that did the work but as far as the management part is concerned do a better job!!!!!!

Our Jeep didn't have heat. Had another shop worked on it prior and they replaced the coolant. It worked for a bit but didn't want to return to that shop. Local shop, with good reputation but it took them two days to diagnose, and problem still persists. Found J&C on Google Maps, showed them a video of what we think is wrong. They had it overnight and found the problem and had it repaired the next day. Mixing valve. They also did the oil change. They only issue is also asked to change the brake fluid, but it was not on the invoice. They apologized for the miss and went to check the fluid, it looks great - turns out they did do the work but forgot to add it to the invoice. We offer to pay however Javier told us not to worry about it. Overall happy with the service and reasonable for the service they provided. They other place charged about 2/3 of this work just to diagnose and replace the coolant. Javier mentioned they recognized this problem hence able to easily determine what caused the problem. Our go to shop from now on!

5 stars!!!!!Javier constantly is honest in diagnosing what is needed on our Dodge Caravans. He keeps our maintenance in check and alerts us when there's a problem. He found my heater/ A/C blower resistor had gone bad. He is very courteous and was able to order the part and replace it in 24 hrs. Thank you for your teams great work and honesty! After getting a diagnostic check on my car elsewhere, it showed the power steering pump and power steering pressure hose were leaking and needed replacement. I called Javier at J&C Auto, told him I had purchased the parts and asked if he could replace them. He gave me a quote and said he could have it done in one day. After a thorough inspection, Javier called me to say that only the hose had a leak, but the pump itself was intact and DID NOT need replacement. As a result, not only did I save money on the repair (by not fixing what wasn t broken), but I also saved money by getting a refund on the part I didn t need. I can t say enough about J&C Auto, they truly provide a thorough, reliable, and affordable service. I will highly recommend them to all my friends and family.Service: Steering & suspension repair

This review will not do justice for how thankful I am for Javier and his effort! I didn't have a whole lot of money to spend, and I had bought a 1982 F-100 that needed a bit more expertise than a high schooler had. They towed it to the shop, and got it running beautifully for far less than I anticipated. He understood my situation and it showed. Javier is a really upstanding mechanic, and you can count on him anywhere from classics to the family car.

Good service, estimates were all accurate, and the work was done in a timely fashion. The proprietor courteously let me know the he wouldn't be able to start work until a few days after I first arrived, provided a temporary fix, and let me keep driving the vehicle until he was ready to commence the actual repair.

Took our vehicle in because the engine light was on. Supposedly they installed a new sensor. The engine light stayed off for only one day. Took it back & were told it could be another sensor. I drive a 1996 crown vic and thanks to J&C Auto Service it runs like a brand new car. I highly recommend to anyone with car troubles to give them a try. These guys know their stuff,excellent work. Very trustworthy guys working there!!! Thanks soooo much Javier. Y all always do a great job!!!!

New to the area, I took my three vehicles for maintenance and small issues like "check engine light". Javier was very honest about what was needed. Price was fair and I didn't feel pressured or over charged. I will definitely continue to use their services.

I've brought my car here several times and got great service and results. Most recently, Gunn Honda told me my car needed an entire new A.C. system and oil pan for $3250. J & C revealed that Gunn Honda was lying. I just needed an A.C. relay and the oil pan was fine. J & C charged about $100 and my A.C. now works great. I am so happy with them. I regret ever going to the dealership. J & C is my place for good now.

Javier and his crew have been taking care of our cars for the 8 years we have lived in NW San Antonio. He has always been swift to the task and honest and fair in his billing. They may not need any more business, but if your car needs work, try them. You will not be disappointed!

As a single woman, it's hard to hard a great mechanic who you can trust, but Javier is that mechanic. He is honest, trustworthy and reliable. I trust him and highly recommend him and the guys in the shop.
