Alternator went out will I was driving through Hearn. Saw Dougies Automotive while passing so I made a quick u-turn and the rest was history. Great work, friendly and empathetic. Highly recommended.

Amazing vehicle repair! Dougie went above and beyond to repair the clutch in our vehicle. Met us on a Sunday to put the car in his shop so it wouldn't sit out overnight. Excellent communication! Dougies Automotive to save the day. We were on the way back from a deer lease trip, and our wheel bearing went out about 14 miles down the road. We limped the truck to the shop and they stopped what they were doing went and picked up the new part and got it put on in about 45 min and we were back on the road thank yall so much. Yall saved the day

We broke down not too far from their shop on the way home from a fishing trip with a bad front wheel bearing around 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon. We limped the truck to Dougie's and they had us back on the road within about 45 minutes including picking up the part hub assembly. I couldnt be more impressed. I feel that service like that doesnt really exist anymore and wish that they were local to me because I would use them to do all of automotive work.

Dougie is one of the best mechanics in the Brazos Valley and central Texas. He is honest and trustworthy. A very rare quality in mechanic shops these days. If you have a diesel to be worked on, go no further. Dougie is an expert, especially with a Cummins! You won't find a better shop within 200 miles of B/CS!

Our car broke down in Franklin, just up the road, on a trip to Austin from Longview, and Dougie was highly recommended by both the fire chief who helped us find a hotel and the wrecker service that came all the way from Bryan. He quickly got our situation figured out and didn t charge us an arm and a leg to get it fixed. I d absolutely recommend him to anyone. Thanks, Dougie!

Dougies Automotive came recommended to us from his competition. Which we think speaks volumes. They worked through the night to get us back on the road asap. Very polite and courteous. They kept us updated all along the way. They are honest, timely, fair and competent. Such a pleasure to find such an honest and hard working company.

I was having trouble with my older van since August. We had tried everything we could at home to try to get it to turn over to no avail. As soon as I contacted Dougie, he made sure to get my van to his shop immediately, personally. When does that ever happen anymore?!? I left it with him for a bit, and he learned just what was wrong in a few hours time. He worked with me on the money I owed, which wasn't much at all. Old cars can rack it up in a garage so, I am certainly pleased with the amount Dougie charged for the service he did and time he took to figure my van out. Honest mechanic work is what we need. I will be returning for more service very soon. Thanks again, Dougie!

Dougie went out of his way to make sure I had my truck running for work. I broke down in front of his building just as he was closing up. Even though he was busy with previous commitments. BEST PLACE EVER!! The shop is filled with the most genuine kind hearted souls who truly care about not only the vehicle but the person behind the wheel too! Truly an auto repair shop that knows and cares about what they are doing. They are professionals and are fantastic at their job, very thorough and check to make sure everything is perfect even past what you may have thought originally. On my way to Austin my car broke down in the parking lot just down the street from Dougies. I walked over right as they happened to be closing, but they agreed to check it out. They found that there was a major issue with my water pump and since all the parts shop in town were closed for the day. We ended up having to stay the night at an inn (that they were kind enought to drive up us to and from) and they fixed it in the morning despite being swamped with other work. Both mechanics were both super nice the entire time, they didn't try to play up the issue to get me to buy anything else. They just fixed what was broken and sent me one my way with a smile and a wave. Would definitely recommend.

My water pump went out on my way home from college and luckily Dougie stayed after five o clock and put in a new one. I was in and out in an hour, faster than some oil changes. Super upstanding guy. Thanks for getting me home for the holidays Dougie.

Awesome mechanics always willing to go well beyond the normal standards of most businesses. Will help there customers even if they stay all night and personally give rides and drop off people s cars.
