Awful. It's dirty, it smells, there are many large bugs in the hallway and even in the bathroom. The wifi barely works. Google mentions a hot breakfast but there is none "due to covid" (in 2024?) Go anywhere else if you can.

"No breakfast because of COVID." But it's almost 2024. That should tell you everything about the amenities you can expect and management approach you'll experience. This is the kind of place you go to sleep and set your alarm early to leave as soon as you can.

The room was disgusting. The room was dirty. The bathroom was gross, there is white stuff on the toilet paper. There were police arresting people on the sidewalk and the desk clerk put us in the room right where the police and a large crowd of people were ourside, knowing I was traveling with a kid. People have been talking outside my door for hours about the people being arrested. Absolutely would never stay in this place again.

Jetted tub didn't work we were charged for it. The owner did not want to refund the difference His employees misquoted the room. We would have never came here had we known the tub was broken. The employee said it would be no problem in the morning, but owner just said he new and we only got back $11.50. They also refused military discount. Nothing was wow about room better to go elsewhere

What a hidden Gem this place is!!! Super friendly staff, easy check in, newly remodeled rooms -- it's well worth the money!! Don't let the low price fool you this location will meet all your expectations and more !!Rooms: Great job on the remodel !!Walkability: Close too services and foodFood & drinks: 5min walk

You get what you pay for. Everything was clean but the beds were like sleeping on a rock. No breakfast expected since 1 guy is running the whole show. I can't really complain since it was so much cheaper than $400 a night jacked up prices in Bryan. Just know....you get what you pay for.Safety: I felt safeFood & drinks: None given or availableNoteworthy details: If you have back problems.....these beds are not for you.

10/18/2020: This was a great stay for the night. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked extremely well. Our outside parking was right in front of our room door so that was convenient. The whole parking area was well lit. The only problem was that the sign out front advertised free breakfast. When I went up in my mask to get a takeout plate, there was no breakfast. According to the individual at the front desk, it had been closed due to COVID-19 concerns. Alright so update your sign folks!

I doubt this place would pass the health inspection. Found dead bugs in my rooms, an Afro pic and a razor under a bedskirt. I don't know why anybody would choose to stay here. And if you are a business and you're looking for accommodations, you should do better by your employees. (Original October 2018 review)September 2022 update: i made this review in October 2018; I was recently sharing stories with friends of the worst hotel stay we ve ever had in our lives. This story won. (Added more details than I shared in initial review)We literally cried laughing at all the other horrible reviews. It truly is comical looking back 4 years later. But make no mistake: don t stay here. No mammal should ever stay here. Reptiles might enjoy it. Insects will love it.I didn t mention how aggressive the hotel manager was, or how I smoked cigars in the room to mask the horrible stench. I would rather sleep in a chicken coop.

Passing through the area and needed a place to stay the night that would accept my service dog. The room was clean and decently comfortable. Know that there are not extra blankets in the room but I tend to travel with extras. If you have to use the pull out couch bed there are no sheets or blankets for that bed you might be able to ask the front desk for some (it was just something I noticed). I'm pretty sure we'll be traveling through again soon and I'm comfortable saying I'll likely stay here again.

Our car broke down in Franklin just north of Hearne, while going on a trip from Longview to Round Rock, and nearly every hotel in the area was booked out for the night, except this one, so it was our obvious choice. From the outside, it looks like what you d expect from a motel; nothing flashy and maybe just a touch run down. My biggest concern was the safety of my wife and children, but upon coming onto the site, I found that I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. I was able to book a room in moments, and the man at the front desk was helpful and prompt with getting us into our room. The rooms were clean and spacious and the AC worked almost too well! The beds were comfy and my girls were so happy that they were able to watch cartoons on the tv. Only reason I didn t give it 5 stars is that they advertised free breakfast and when we went to grab some, the offices where the breakfast area is was locked and no one was around. Overall, I m very thankful we ended up here while we tried to figure out our vehicle situation.

My 1st time visiting here and I will say this if your a construction/contract worker an you just looking to get some sleep only then come here. I however was attending a family function an was told to stay here and there was no standard pillows they look more like throw pillows on a king size and the "blanket" which looked an felt like curtains/drapes my guy said it more like indoor/outdoor carpet I would just say invest in pillows, comforters,quilts, or just some cotton covers would help a lot..

Thank God we stayed for one night! Please don t stay here. It smelled, stuff on restroom door( looked like dried boggers), air-conditioner had white stuff inside, moved the curtains and stuffed flew everywhere. I Went to go ask the front desk for an extra towel and he had an attitude. Asked me well how many is in your room. I said well how many did I tell you when I made the arrangements? He said four. And I said we only have three. It was just the way he said it like if we were hiding people in our room. And the only reason why we stayed was because we didn t have extra money to spend on another room.

The room was dirty. And I didn't notice until late that night, but it looked like vomit or chewing tobacco splattered on the wall beside the bed. I'm not planning on staying there again. Place has gone down hill as far as the quality that they used to have. It's a shame, because I do like the owner. Very friendly staff, just disgusted by my room on my last visit.

It was horrible! Our truck broke down just down the road and had to have it towed to the loves truck stop by the hotel. The guy working the front desk on night shift went to a vacant room and watched my wife and son from the vacant room he was in and then went back into the office and sat there and continued to watch them from there the entire time he was in the office. I had to sleep in the truck with our dog at the truck stop because they wouldn t allow us to have our dog in the room. When my wife and son woke up this morning they got dressed and checked out and we got on the road and my wife s head started itching and when we got to my moms she had my mom check her head and she got head lice from the hotel. Not only that she went to make herself some coffee and she said the coffee tasted like soap and the creamer was hard as a rock I do not recommend staying here.

Rooms looked nicer than outside of hotel. Marble surfaces and overall seemed clean. Wooden towel rack was warped with water damage and seemed unsanitary. Was happy to see cleaning staff cleaning not only sheets but also the top blankets which 60 Minutes specials would have you believe hold more infectious disease than a rabid hooker who recently stubbed her toe on a rusty nail.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It's inA great location, plenty of room in each room. The entire property is well kept and very clean. And the entire staff is very pleasant and professional. I will stay here again.

Really nice . Furniture was surprisingly nice . Small love seat even had a hide a bed , now that was a suprise. And the marble was real marble . It had everything you could need. All you need to do is bring you , your clothes and your good to go .

Good stay room was clean and decent only complaint is the breakfast isn't the greatest. For the price it's nice if your on budget. One piece of advice make sure you know how many nights your staying there's a no refund policy I'd you leave early.

Stayed here for one night. No sheets were on the pullout couch/bed and there was a piece of trash in there as well as an old french fry. Continental breakfast was the bare minimum but that's to be expected.

I had to stay at this motel for one night in a pinch, working in Hearne for the day, I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations, clean room, comfortable bed and plenty of amenities, minus a pool. I would recommend this motel to anyone staying in Hearne who doesn't want to pay the higher price for the Holiday Inn Express.
