Took my vehicle to be inspected. They told me it did not pass due to the window tint being too dark. This wouldn t be a problem however, i took my car to this exact shop last year and it was passed. Im not sure how or why they passed it last year and not this year when the tint has not been touched or changed since the last inspection. I took my vehicle to a different inspection place and asked that they double check the tint. Interestingly enough the tint was fine and the vehicle passed. Cant say i would recommend you take your vehicle here as these people clearly have no idea what they are doing.

I wouldn t come here for anything but an oil change. I pulled up on Friday afternoon, there was only one other car in the garage, and they told me they d take mine as soon as they finished the other one, and they did. Although, it took them an hour and ten minutes to change the oil on my Yukon. I brought my Malibu up there today for transmission fluid, and it took 25 minutes for them to even offer to help me despite clearly seeing me arrive. They told me that it was far too soon to change it, as it should be done every 150,000 miles, which is totally false. I was fed up with them, so I left. I absolutely despise inaccurate information, especially when it concerns other people s cars.

These fellas are very honest and never recommend things you don t need.Most of the reviews seem to be from folks who don't know how shops work. Sure they misquote how long it takes to get to things and sometimes it takes longer than you expect, but the pricing at Haslet Auto Lube is better than any shop in the area and is fair. Prices are reasonable compared to some of the area automobile mechanic shops and the guys take pride in doing right by the customer and their work.Martin is extremely auto savvy and that is hard to find these days.

Would not inspect my truck because of a cracked (at the bottom not in line of site) this place has been inspecting my trucks for 10+ years.

I've been using Haslet Auto Care for more than 3 years now (4 diff cars), they used to be great with people but now their customer service is horrible. I bought some break pads for the guys to install last week and was told they are too busy for that type of work. I asked if I could drop off my vehicle off the next day or even the following week and pick up later on and was told that it would be better if I just take my vehicle to breaks plus. Not what I was expecting from Martin and the guys. Never coming here again.Services: Tires, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Oil change

As a technician that repairs vehicles daily and makes sure vehicles are ready for state inspections, I'm sorely disappointed in the treatment I received at this shop. I brought my sisters car in to have her 2007 Hyundai Tiburon state inspected and was denied/failed for side marker lights as part of the headlight assembly. I verified with a Tarrant county Deputy and he was unsure if that is an inspectable item and through further research, the side marker (not blinkers) are not part of the safety inspection for vehicles. Verified through texas dps safety for passenger vehicles, qualifications for safety inspection. All inspectable lights worked: headlights, high beams, tail lights, brake lights, license plate lights, high mount brake light, blinkers and indicators inside on instrument cluster and reverse lights. There was a Crack on the windshield but not across the width of the glass. Check engine light off, readiness monitors all ok except 1 incomplete for evaporative emissions, still passable. Brakes worked and parking brake worked, no abs or parking brake lights illuminated on cluster. Windows not even tinted. So all in all there was NOTHING that should have caused this vehicle to fail. I'm struggling to understand the reasoning for this poor service. What is going on here. Please help.

The current inspector of this shop is terrible. He is disrespectful and dismissive and treats the customers as a burden and has no business being in any customer service industry. I have been going here for five years with multiple vehicles. He lost you a customer today. I will not be back.

Was greeted instantly upon arrival(he was very nice). Only there about 45 minutes even though there was a decent flow of people. Got oil change and tires aired up, only paid $55 for compact SUV.

I had my truck serviced here about a week ago, as soon as I picked up my truck and took it home it started leaking so I called up there and set a time to bring it back for repairs. I then come back to drop the truck off on our designated day and I was told on the phone it would be a priority to find the cause and get repaired. I did not receive a call by the end of the day so I drove by to find they had not even touched my truck yet and then proceeded to give me my keys and tell me to take it somewhere else for a problem they caused. I do not recommend this place and I will never come back.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I ve been taking my vehicles here for 3 years and always had a great experience. Very professional and trustworthy. I don t trust anyone other than these guys with my cars. Reasonable and timely. Great guys!

Very friendly service and very fast. I didn't have a hard copy of my insurance, but Salvador took a photo of the policy from my phone. I was so glad it could be done this way!! Will definitely be back for other services

Great service. You can't beat the price for an oil change - $35. I got in and out very quick. Very nice employees. I guess the only negative is that they don't look for other maintenance that might need to be done like other places do, so just make sure you're on top of that. But I will definitely be going back!

Receive excellent service and value. Came in with an A/C issue and they fixed only what needed to be fixed. A/C has been great since taking it to them. Honest folks here.

Went here a few times out of convience for state inspections and AC work. I work at a speed shop myself for years, but we don t do inspections or AC work. This place is filthy gross. Unorganized and the employees here are hit or miss. Seems like this shop has a high turn over rate because I never see the same faces twice. First 2 times I went here was fine. Last 2 where a nightmare.

Took my truck here to get front breaks replaced and rotors turned. Associates here said it would be about two hours and would call me if I needed new rotors. 2 1/2 hours later I show up and my truck was still on the lift and work hadn't started. Associates claimed to have called me several times and left voice mail stating they couldn't resurface the rotors. I never received a call/voicemail and wasted 2 1/2 hours of my day. Then, if I wanted to get new rotors, would be a couple more hours. At the end of the day a learning lesson for me. No apologies to me or a sense of care that I just wasted my day for nothing cause you couldn't type my number in your system correctly, and I confirmed my number to the shop manager twice. Sadly, I've had work done here before. Still was charged a service fee. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with the poor customer service I received.

The guys at Haslet Auto are fantastic. We recently took our car into the dealership and were quoted thousands of dollars to fix the power steering. I called Haslet Auto and they were able to help us source the part at a discounted price and were willing to do the labor at a fraction of the price. They ended up saving us thousands of dollars. They are very honest, and you can trust that you will receive excellent service at a reasonable price. Would recommend them to any and everyone with car troubles.

Don't know if anyone else have had issues with Haslet Auto Care by the Shell but I want to advise that I think they are crooks. My daughter 18 took her car there for an oil change. This was her first time doing this. I took it there before one time. She advised them she had no idea what she was doing but needed an oil change. Without explaining to her the difference between synthetic and regular oil they just assumed to add synthetic and charge her 50.00 for a small compact 4 cyl car. She is new to having a car and I feel they took total advantage of her over there. I called and spoke to someone who got very irritated and hung up on me and then spoke to the manager who was no better. He said it is not their job to explain the price points to her.Anyway, thought I'd post this for anyone looking to do work there. I would not recommend that place. It is not right for them to take full advantage of anyone let alone a new teenage female driver.

I came here for a state inspection. No wait on a Friday afternoon. The mechanic was fast; and Eric, who took payment, was extremely kind, informative, and professional. He has outstanding customer service. Highly recommend!

Anytime I need my car to be worked on I've always trusted these guys to get me fixed right up. Had great experience with them on many an occasion. Very friendly and very knowledgeable plus their prices are very low compared to most other shops I've been to in the past. Highly recommend!! Try them out, you won't be disappointed. :)

Got my truck inspected here. These guys were very nice and treated you like a friend rather than a customer. Comfortable waiting room but hardly any wait because these guys get you out quick and easy.
