Unfortunately I had to bring my truck here since the vehicle that hit me didn't have insurance and this was my insurance company's preferred shop. Truck was hit in June 2021, was at the shop for two months since parts were backordered. Picked up truck and inside of door jamb was not painted and had exposed body filler..Needed the truck since my rental had expired so I scheduled a date to have it corrected which they did. After about a year, since I only handwash my vehicles I noticed bubbles in the paint, took it in, they had it for a few days and repainted it. Now after close to a year after that, I'm having the same bubbles in the paint. They are friendly, but they're way too busy to pay attention to your vehicle and it's evident in the lack of quality in their work. My truck wasn't prepped properly or they didn't let the base layer cure before spraying the paint.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

More damage was done while repairing the accident damage. Unfortunately, I noticed this days after I picked up the vehicle. I picked up the vehicle on Monday and noticed this on Wednesday. If you're someone that pays attention to detail this may not be the shop for you. In addition to the damage discovered, there were also some parts missing. Such as the door rubber/finisher(included in the pictures). I made the mistake of not asking the guy to do a walk-around before I left. Be sure not to make my mistake. I've included pictures of the opposite side for reference.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Very amazed on how quick my car got fixed! Dropped off on a Tuesday and it was ready on Thursday! Yes same week! Paint was exactly the same too! Customer service was awesome...

This was my first time very having to deal with having to go to an auto body shop. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I had a great experience with them. I had my car back the next day.

Amazing awesome fast work. Employees are so nice. Recommend them highly. Had a horrible experience with Tommy Grahams. And the employees pointed out the bad work without me even having to Say anything. I'm one satisfied customer.

Just picked up my truck after they ve had it since September 24. This place is ridiculous. Never heard from them unless I called despite their need to extend the duration of the fix TWICE. They promised to do an alignment and it wasnt done. They returned it WITH the check engine light on. Telling me we ll just clear it disregarding that the ambient air temp sensor NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. Prior to taking it here I had never had issues with it. This is the third time I use them and I cannot believe they treat customers this way. Never again.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I had an accident in February and my insurance suggested this place. I pulled up the reviews and despite reading the comments, I left my car here. They did their repairs and it looked good, but then I paid extra for some upgrades to my car. When I picked up my car, my hood wouldn't open, panel in car was broken loose, dashboard was broken and to top things off, they didn't even replace one of the lights I paid for. (I'm out that money and I'm out that part!)It will be May in a few days and they have yet to call me back. Really nice guys taking in my car, but all I got since was, "it's just that we're busy today" or "my manager will call you back". I'm still waiting. Need to leave your vehicle here... Was patient when I understood that a part needed to be ordered and of course labor after it came in but it was two months too long. Had to get an extension on my rental and still wasn t ready after the given date and was left without a vehicle for a little while. Back windshield was replaced but that was not needed so I don t understand why? Gas tank cover wasn t put back correctly and the left side of the back bumper is a little off compared to the right. Was expecting better after having had a good experience the first time I used this business. Overall staff was nice.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

In regard to quality body work: 10 out of 10. However, I would be embarrassed to refer a family member or friend to this shop knowing that they would not receive the most superior customer service. I would like to note that my dissatisfaction with the customer service was not in regard to our communication with Haroldo. Once we were in communication with him directly, we were treated with professionalism and he was quite attentive and kind. The problem was the lack of communication throughout the month that our vehicle was at the shop. Also, it was not ready by the estimated date. Then, it was delayed once again. This forced us to call for updates, and any time we would speak to the front desk, specifically with Daniel, there was a tone of rudeness, a lack of customer service training and professionalism, and one day, he directly told me that he was confused in regard to my phone call, even though I was returning a missed call from the shop. Notes and communication should be streamlined because I m sure the volume of work the shop has is extremely high and customers must call constantly. With that said, excellent customer service is a must. Customers deserve a higher level of customer service and professionalism throughout the entire process and time with you.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Super happy with this place. They fixed my back door to my vechile they called me every step of the way if anything was delayed.with everything going on some delays was completely out of there control.My door look amazing and they did such a good job I would highly recommend Jamie. So happy to finally have my vechile back and looks amazing.

Has had car for 10 weeks and they still haven't finished it. Every time it's time to go pick it up they say a fender won't line up ,a knuckle is bad on suspension, the paint had a reaction, and not the hood won't line up. Only reason it was taken here was because it was a progressive preferred shop if not I would been taken elsewhere. Real amateurs no communication and the owner won't even return my calls.

Worst experience - do not take your vehicle here1. They do not honor their guarantee2. They do poor work3 . Extremely bad communication4. And it took 3 months to get the vehivle backWe took our vehicle because it was a claim throught progressive insurance. If this is what i can expect as customer of progressive then let me stay away from them as well.Vehicle was damaged is an accident they said it would take a couple of weeks to fix it and it actually took more then 3 months! Second the fix only lasted about 2 weeks and the fender came off and the back door would not close. They said they would honor their work for 6 months so we took it back. And they would not fix it!!!! They said someone else must have damaged it.Summary: if u have a choice stay away! Bad businness all the way!!!Service: Body & Trim

Took my Truck to this body shop on the 24th of September and just now picked it up. After nearly 3 weeks my truck does not have the alignment they promised and the check engine light is on. It s never been on before. Not only is this unacceptable BUT they Never called to update me on my vehicle even though they needed to extend the duration of the work schedule TWICE. They would have extended it a third time however, they gave no notice and I no longer have days left for my rental. This is the third time I use their services and I can not believe this is how they treat customers period. After having picked it up I had Oreillys run the diagnostics and it s a bad air ambient temperature sensor. Unacceptable customer service. Terrible.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Fantastic! Professional, expedient, wonderful people. They treat you like family. My car looks like showroom quality. They went the extra mile and even detailed the little Kia. I feel badly about the deer I hit, but am so impressed and relieved because of the service the Rodriguez family team provided. I would highly recommend them, and really,really like them!

my month old f-150 had a large tree branch fall and break the windshield , dent up the pillar and hood. these folks got it fixed in super human time and the work is FLAWLESS ! i can not recommend these folks enough. just amazing !!!Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Brought my car here cause someone backed into it and made my fender pop out. 2 weeks after getting my car back the fender popped out again. Turns out they didn't replace any broken parts with new ones they just popped it in back in place but it won't stay cause my tabs are broken. It has warranty with them but I honestly don't want them touching my car again. Take your business elsewhere unless you want to get half done jobs.

My parents recommended this place after I had a recent fender bender, because their experience was so great, and I have to agree. Service and turnaround was incredibly fast, price was great, and the work done to my car (replaced fender, bumper, headlight) was fantastic. This will be our go-to place from now on for any auto body work.

Went in for repair of right rear quarter panel which had dents from a car backing into my car. Rodriguez Paint and Body shop has the car for four days. Upon inspecting the right rear panel there was tape residue still connected with paint on my wheel well as well as a loose bumper panel which was supposed to have been repaired and was not. Shop asked me to wait an additional hour beyond the four days they had used to repair the vehicle to sand it down . Upon re-inspection of the vehicle I determined that there were two notches now in what was supposed to be a smooth and curved wheel well which was either globs of bondo or poorly applied paint. Manager asked to keep the car in order to make it right . I was supposed to pick up my car earlier in the day but was told over the phone that it was going through their exhaustive Quality Assurance / Quality Control Process . So I m left with the fact that the job was done poorly and their Quality Assurance personnel lack the proper training. Will not be going back.

Took forever getting my truck to be fixed. It was there for 2 and a half months. Even at that, they had it all dirty when I picked it up today inside. Nothing but dust inside it when Jaime told me it would be cleaned inside and out from being at a mechanic shop.

Zero stars!!!Taking my vehicle to Jaime Rodriguez was the biggest mistake I made. They had my truck for over 3 months. I trusted them and they decieved me every step of the way. I took it back several times for numerous body defects and faulty repairs. I was told a new hood was put on my vehicle and even showed an hand written voice by Mando. After careful inspection I realized my hood had simply been removed reshaped and painted to look new. I could tell as they pre existing dents and chips were showing through the fresh paint. When I questioned Mando he stated the damaged hod was in the back. When I asked to see it he accused me of calling him a liar. He then said the hood had already been taken for scrap. The insurance never received a supplemental for my hood. I was forced to go back to Jaime Rodriguez after receiving my vehicle cause no other body shop would touch my vehicle. My vehicle began making noises and upon taking it back Mando admitted that my hood was installed improperly and they my suspension was lose which resulted in the excessive noise while driving. I now have my vehicle at another shop due to new noises being made and parts needing replacement. Upon looking at the work Jaime Rodriguez did those parts should have been replaced and new from the repairs that were done. The new body shop informed me that the parts were twisted and torn and original to the vehicle. Jaime Rodriguez was caught red handed commiting fraud. I have since secured legal representation as they are not willing to make good on their work. Mr Rodrigues himself accused me of wanting my vehicle totaled when confronted with these allegations and warned me to never return to his shop or else. Highly unprofessional I would strongly look else where if you need even the smallest repair done. They have proven to be untrustworthy and deceptive.

The car looks brand-new from a distance, but up close you can see the blemishes. I was pleased at first, but over time I noticed work that was done to the car that seemed to be rushed. Very sloppy work to say the least. Took longer than expected. Paint over spray on my windshield and sunroof. (I have a black sunroof that looks white in some parts now.)To top it off, they forgot to re-install an LED light on my rear door; they also forgot to hook up the door latch/rod, so now I can't open the door from the inside, I have to roll the window down to open the door. (This was working fine before it entered the shop.)

I decided to use this automotive shop at the recommendation of my insurance and car rental agent and I was not disappointed. They replaced the rear bumper on my vehicle and replaced a rear tail light. They were open about parts to be used, pricing, and estimated time of completion. After several bad experiences elsewhere, Jaime Rodr�guez Automotive Body Shop performed wonderfully and met my automotive needs. They may be a smaller shop but give them a call and see what they tell you.

I don't like Rodriguez Body shop they dont communicate well and called me 15 mins before they closed to pick up my car. Not only that they do a horrible job detailing the cars, when I had called saying I was going to be late to pick up my car because I basically had five minutes to pick up the car because of the sudden notice the guy on the other line had an attitude. I'm going to Tommy's next time if anything ever happens to my car.

Very bad experience. They made me feel like a charity case because it was an insurance claim with StateFarm. Its almost as if they work with the insurance company to save them(StateFarm) money. A rep by last name of Valdez just wants to argue and makes you go around in circles. I had to point out the defects. Dont waste your time and energy here folks there are plenty of other high end body shops in the Harlingen area.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim

Employee, Noel Perez was not sincere. He gave me a date for service and he failed to deliver. Gave me his business card and when I called him, personally because he gave me HiS business card, he did not respond. Did not get a call back or at least an excuse. Just got my truck today. I sent it in for a geico claim. Everything went good except they messed up my front camera. I had got it installed and now it doesn t work. I tried calling and back and no answer. Guess I ll have to go in person.
