Have taken multiple cars to these guys. Have always been extremely helpful. I remember one time with an old car I had, I had a squeaky belt, took it somewhere else and they replaced it, couple of weeks started squeaking again, so I took it to R&R, when he gave me a call back he explained to me that I had oil leaking from my engine onto the belt and that he could replace it, but the noise will just come back. When I got there he even showed me, and all the signs that I had a minor oil leak going on. I already knew it had a leak but no idea that s what was causing the squeaking, So not only did he save me from spending on an unnecessary repair, but then he didn t even charge me for the diagnosis !! This is just one example of why I keep coming back to these guys, really fair prices and honest hard workers

I recently brought my Dodge Charger to R&R Auto Repair, and I'm thoroughly impressed. Their fair pricing, professional service, and friendly demeanor set them apart. The guys quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue, leaving my car running like new. Highly recommended!

Slick demeanor. I brought my truck for an estimate and Jr said he would charge me $45. He saw a water leak on the top of the engine, he said I needed to pay him $115 just to change the thermostat, because he couldn't give me an estimate. I told him I just changed the $15 thermostat in ten minutes. He wanted $115. Unbelievable! He wanted to start with $115 to check the vehicle and give me an estimate. I do not recommend this place, in my opinion.

Fast reliable service. Very affordable. Works on just about all makes and models. My 2018 pick up has been in a few times for misc work. Definitely be back

Awesome, honest, polite, knowledgeable & fast service. Has worked on 4 of our vehicles for different things because of coarse gotta maintain the older vehicles to keep them running. We have sent family & friends to him ensuring them that it's reliable & priced very fairly. We drive from another town just for this shop.

New to the Harlingen area and was looking for a new mechanic I could trust.My female coworker recommended me here and said they willing to help you without trying to push anything else.From the get go, they are friendly and willing to help.I had an odd request and they tried their best to accommodate it and was able to find an alternate solution that was successful. A last minute issue came along as well and they were willing to assist at no extra charge and I even tried to tip him and he didn t even take it all.10/10 would recommend.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I needed work done on my car. I went to another place, and they wanted to charge over $700. R&R did the work for just over $300 plus the parts. I saved a ton of cash, and my car was ready in just a few hours. This is my new spot. If you need work done, stop by and check them out.

These guys are Amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, Honest and extremely reasonable price wise. They have done all the work on my vehicles for the last three years, and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Thank you guys for all the great work!

Ramon was very knowledgeable and helpful with my oil leak. He solved my problem and went above and beyond. The price was better than expected and more than fair. I will highly recommend this place and return for any future car issues!

Had to replace our truck's ac and took it to one ac place where the price would make you choke. We then took it here after hearing about honesty and fair prices. No lie, we now have a very cold ac. Thank you for a job well done. I would highly recomend this shop.

Ramon was a lifesaver. We were traveling through town and discovered that the water pump in our 2004 Silverado started leaking. Not only was he willing to help us out in an emergency he took care of everything in about an hour. Got a replacement pump delivered and installed in that time frame. So thankful that there are still good and kind people in this world. Please swing by and give them your business.

I have to say that this place treated me like a very valued customer. This was the first time going and now have found my new place for all my future car repairs. Very reasonable prices. I had my water pump replaced and had my car back within 3hrs. My car runs like new again. These guys are professional and very friendly. I highly recommend these guys for your car repair.

This guy R is great. He had my Explorer fixed in 2 hours and it has been running smooth since. Also his price was so fair and cheap I almost felt like I had to pay him more!!! Females, you can seriously trust him. Tell him Michelle sent ya!!

Previous AC Work was excellent- AC blowing frosty cold! My power steering pump went out on my 2013 Dodge Challenger! Ugh! For those who have a charger or challenger?? You know about the part cost! BUT they did an awesome job on the labor! Labor cost was fair and professional! Ramon changed the brakes on my 09 Jeep Patriot. He was very knowledgeable and informative and didn t try to sell me something that I did not need, on the contrary he offered me some advice that could save me lots of money. R&R is one word AWESOME! Long story short, was lied to by another shop but went to R&R where they told me the truth and saved me hundreds. Now, I m no car guy, but saving money and telling the truth is ALWAYS good in my book. The work preformed was fast and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I am extremely happy with the service we receive, I was traveling and unfortunate my car belt broke while driving, and they where relative close, so I was able to get there with out my car overheating too much, once there I spoke with the very friendly mechanics, I explain my situation and they gave a reasonable estimate(the alternator was damage when the belt broke or vice versa) and best of all they told me that they would be able to fixed/replace parts by the end of the day(I arrived past noon), I stay onsite until the work was done and while onsite they where friendly while I waited in the surprisingly cozy lobby.they ultimately finish the job a couple of hours later and I was back on my way satisfy.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Don t know y there givin this place good ratings this mech is below average asked him to fix steering leak his response it s dirty down there with oil ????? No like really (look for the leak) his easy fix was to replace everything what a joke! Also engine was leakin his response was same , his job is fixin sensors anything easy with computer as far as hands on real would not recommend more lights will come out in future plus they say they have 40 yrs plus mech they don t they want easy work do they don t dirt there hands and as u can see from there response bad customer service. As u can see from review from mechanic I was right, I know it has a lot of problems I TOLD u that, but u guys criticize and post , more worried about bad reviews, just like I said I guys don t WANT to FIX it cause u r simple mechanicService: Engine repair

Really great service. I was having problems woth my AC taking forever to cool and he took a look at it and said order this part. I ordered it and when it came in i took my car to him and in about 2 hours had the AC working like new. Really recommend.

Great Friendly service. Fixed my Ac/Thermostat and now I have ice cold Ac again!! Very professional. Definitely coming here again for my other car . Thanks Guys !! Yall did A fabulous job!! Very happy customer.
