I've taken my car a couple of times with them & have paid $800+ & I feel like I still experience issues. I know they are not magicians, and they have tried making it right for me, but it's frustrating when you pay so much & still have the same issues.**UPDATE**I've taken my car in a total of 3 times. They replaced my rear drums (free of charge), but the squeaking/screeching remains the same. I feel like I should get a REFUND and this company should really reevaluate their staff. I will NEVER go back to Pep Boys!

I went to this pep boys 45 minutes before closing and the refused to patch a nail in my tire. Saying they were too busy for a job that could have taken 10 minutes. They directed me too a different tire shop on a flat tire

Friendly service. Work done on time and reasonable prices for tires and oil change. Only drawback was hubcap cover came off sometime the next day.

I brought in my Honda odyssey van on 11/25/2023 at 10:46am. I bought new tires online and they were supposed to install them.They called me at 1:37pm saying that one of the lug studs broke off. I asked how? He said that whomever put on the lug nut crossed tread it. On the pictures they sent its a clear break off. I told him I put on the spare on the side of the highway. It was put on fine. He said no and it would be $151. To fix it. I declined. He then said that the rim was bend and they will let me know if it will hold air once the van weight was on it.It's now 5:20pm, I called back to ask about the van. He tells me that they hit the stud with the impact gun and broke it off. I told him so then yall did break it off and wanted me to pay more for it. He said no. That they hit it with the impact to take it off because it was cross threaded. Then he says that the rim isn't holding air but good luck to us. Any hit on the road the tire will pop off.Is this how you conduct business? I spent $578. To have my stud broken off and a good luck on the road because my van tire is still messed up. This van transports 7 human lives on a daily basis. The people you have working for you at this location lack basic human morals and understanding. One of your values is to service the community, no the only service your company is doing is a service to the funeral homes.Location2321 w expressway 83Harlingen tx 78550

Horrible service .. wait 3 hours for a battery change?? No one was in waiting area. And you can clearly see the techs were standing not doing anythingHow long does it take to change ?And the price difference ? Why you trying to charge more ?Never again.

1 hour vehicle has not moved yet now saying 1 hour and 45 min to balance 4 tires and do an alignment.

Came by for a state inspection. Was completed quickly and professionally. They even put down a plastic cover for when they sat in my vehicle.

I went in yesterday desperately in need of help. My Traverse was overheating and I needed help asap. Bryan and the Area Manager assisted me and made me feel at ease with my repairs. I am so glad I was there. Even though the repair lasted a while because of the work it needed Bryan and the mechanic stayed after hours to make sure my car was repaired and I was on my way home safely.I truly appreciate their help.Thank you

On the Wed site says open at 7:30 am, not true. It's 7:45 doors are locked and no one inside. Need to update your Wed site, put the correct time when Pepboys open.

Employees here @ pepboys store 2321w expressway 83 treated me with much care for my vehicle.Employee Mr. Jaime was very helpful in knowledge of my vehicle which happens to be a foreign car he was very polite great customer service . Knowing that we have problems with are vehicles with his positive attitude made everything a lot better moving forward with our vehicle my wife and I thank you so much. We definitely will let our friends know this is the place to come for work done on your vehicle.

The gentleman working the counter (joe) made it seem like none of the services I wanted performed on my car where possible. The mechanics were professional, no problems with them. The customer service was not what I expected.

They ran the incorrect diagnostic test on my vehicle and were planning to overcharge me due to the fact that I don't have two catalytic converters. I was quoted at $4,100 but was able to have a different mechanic fix everything for $500. I just believe they saw that I had my vehicle towed and thought I had money so they planned to rip me off.

I took my truck in for the starter to be replaced. I was amazed at the customer service. They were able to replace it on the same day. Wow! I thought it would take much longer to fit me in. I was given the estimate before hand, and it was spot on. Customer service was outstanding. Thanks a lot for your help. M

These guys really did a great job installing my new tires today. I made an appointment online, showed up a little early. They got me in immediately and the tires I found online were in stock and available as expected. They honored the online discounted price. The guys at the desk were fantastic, i think his name was Joel. Highly Recommend a tire service here no doubt

I had been waiting for a tire ordered from Walmart . It did not arrive and I looked elsewhere. I called PepBoys and they had one in-stock and had everything ready as soon as I arrived . I left the car and went to the lobby waited in the comfortably waiting area and they got everything done . No excess wait time and excellent customer service from everyone .

On the road for seven hrs South and my truck was having some front pulsating when applying brakes. Called spoke with Dominic "Dom" they got truck in service bay quick. During inspection they found one of rotors was seizing up. They changed pads and flushed brake system freed up pins on rotor with a little anti seize and Back on the road I was. Thank you for addressing my issues and performing service in timely manner.

Very disappointed at the service provided, this is my second time that I took my truck and both times the service have been awful. Yesterday I took my truck for an oil change, I told them the oil level was extremely low and they said it was going to take 4 to 5 hours to have the truck ready, I said it was ok, drop the truck at 10:00 am, at 6:00 pm I called and they told me they haven't even started to work on my truck, they called me back at 7:00 pm to tell me my truck was ready, it was late and I told them I was going to go and pick the truck next day. That night I noticed a oil stain in the garage, next morning I called early in the morning and told them about the oil stain and that I believe the truck have a leak. They said they were going to check, at 7:00 pm they called to tell me the truck was ready, that indeed the truck have an oil leak but they didn't know from where it was coming, to pick the truck and take it to another shop. Arrived to pick it up at 7:53 pm, the door was lock and the person inside made faces and gestures when saw me. Left me waiting outside for a couple of minutes and when he finally opened the door was not very customer friendly, I asked him if the day before they couldn't tell about the leak and he said they didn't told him anything, then I told him I have a coupon and he didn't even acknowledge me, until I didn't asked him if he didn't hear me. In summary, the shop kept my truck for 2 days, to make an oil change, not even noticed the oil leak until I brought it up and gave me attitude for arriving only 7 minutes before they closed, even though they didn't called me until 7:00 pm.

Never friendly workers, never can tell me a time or anything. "Drop it off, we'll call you tomorrow." Was told this at 3pm when I asked to have the tires I bought from them checked for a leak.

Excellent service and courteous staff. Thank you for explaining things. The technicians and front desk crew are very knowledgeable and thorough. I've received faster and better service at Pepboys than at the dealership. I have been to Pepboys at different cities throughout Texas, and have received superher service. When you have kids or grandkids living or traveling all over Texas, it's comforting to know that they can go to a place you can trust.

Front desk very polite. Actions did not match words. Diagnostic test revealed an expensive problem. Fixed that. Did not diagnose another problem which took another day and lots more expense. Said car was ready and it was not. Waited another hour. Very disappointed
