If you are a female, make sure you take a male with you and let the male do the talking, otherwise you MAY get shafted. I REALLY FEEL LIKE I DID YESTERDAY! The 2 points Firestone (Harlingen) gave for failing the state inspection had been NEVER used in the 11 months since our truck passed inspection at Firestone (Weslaco). If I can find somewhere else to get the job done I will from now on. I'm probably going to be watching A LOT of YouTube videos and do it myself from now on. I WILL NOT BE SPENDING ANYMORE MONEY AT ANY FIRESTONE AGAIN!

even though the part did not come in like they said it would they made an arrangement for that day and got me the part and had the car fixed. Very professional. Appreciated that they showed and explained to me everything that was wrong with the vehicle.

I believe that if I need something taken care off from Firestone I'll drive to Brownsville from Harlingen. Don't understand why it takes them so long and with an appointment when I can go to Brownsville get the same work done in less time without an appointment. If I purchase an item and the warranty why am I told that it's not available and have to wait for a replacement but it will be so much for that item because the one you purchased will no longer be available. I just need to look for a different place to get my tires and my oil change. The only item they do provide fast service and is an option they offer when your tire is low is to add air. Which was told to me and a lady that walked in.

Bad service, don't even acknowledge customers. I sat out in front and waited 5 minutes for someone to ask "how may help" I will never go to another Firestone.

Great service and very informative staff. Their work is done in a timely manner but would recommend making an appointment rather then walk-in if you can avoid it.

Horrible experienceManager is arrogant and does not treat customers as he shouldI usually take my vehicles to San Benito but this time their alignment tool was out so I came to the Harlingen location. In 10 years of having my alignments done at Firestone I ve never had a problem until I came to the Harlingen one. First two workers did not know how to drive standard which is understandable not everyone knows how. My problem arose when the manager came out arrogant saying he could drive it gloating about his 25 years of experience. He attempted to drive my vehicle up the ramp but stalled it three times. Once he was able to get near the ramp he was revving up the engine and burning up the clutch. He did this three times the car is a mustang 5.0 and he was revving the engine from 2500-3000 rpm causing a ruckus. The car was barely moving and it was evident the vehicle was just burning the clutch up. All I said was careful you are riding the clutch and burning it. Manager got upset step out of the vehicle and said he would not work on the vehicle anymore. I told him I can drive the vehicle up the ramp myself, from which he said no he responded and I quote I would not risk you driving through the wall of the shop . I told him I ll take full ownership if I damage my own car but I could drive it up because it s evident you were burning up the clutch. He kept saying no take it up with headquarters. I looked at him and he responded no matter what you look at me I know you don t understand. I told him do not speak to me as if I am stupid I completely understand what you are saying but you are out of line. He then began to bloat about his 25 years of work experience and how his small truck is standard.I feel those 25 years of service were wasted because he obviously does not know how to drive a manual vehicle nor take advice from someone younger to not damage their own vehicles.Brownsville location took me in right away and were very professional.

Coming home from South Padre Island. Had a weird vibration coming from our trailer. Found this shop and they replaced both bad tires and got us back on the road. Great service team!

Came to this location last year for my state inspection and wasn t impressed: customer service was lacking, and it took over 2 hours when all was said and done. This year I waited too long to get my inspection and my registration was 2 days from expiration, so I called around and the only place I could get an appointment after my work hours was this Firestone. I had low expectations. Today I was greeted with a friendly smile, nice chit-chat and extremely quick service! Staff was amazing!!! Everyone was friendly and engaging! I didn t time them, but I m sure I was in and out of there under 15 minutes! A chore I was dreading turned into a great experience that brightened my day. Thank you Harlingen Firestone!!!

I took my BMW to get and alignment and after the vehicle being there all afternoon. I get a call the car is done. Only to find out the car was not done because the tech working didn t know how to do the alignment on a BMW. I was told to call back the next day because the knowledgeable tech would be working, I call only for them to tell me they can t do it that day and I had to schedule a day when the tech was there. I guess I have to work around their schedule. I guess the techs tell the managers what to do. Very unprofessional, no customer service, and I never got a follow up from the manager as they don t care they are not the owners.Service: Wheel alignment

Overpriced. Went in for a few things and ended up needing a wheel bearing replaced. Price for that including labor was over $600. Husband ended up doing it himself. Paid $200 for the part and did it. Also got a high mileage oil change there and paid $161. Usually go to Walmart for that and never pay more than $70. I had gone to Firestone since I needed to get the truck maintenence done but wow; the prices are pretty high!

Firestone keeps getting worse and worse!!! My last experience with them this past week was the straw that broke the camel's back. I asked them to check the brakes on my wife's BMW 428i since the brake sensor indicated a problem. They finally "checked out" the brakes after leaving the car with them for 5 hours and I had to call them, they didn't call me. They said I needed brake pads for all 4 wheels and rotors for 2 of them due to deep grooves that had been cut into them. They even provided measurements which I'm sure makes a lot of people feel comfortable with their recommendations. I told them I would do the brake pads but not the rotors since they were less than a year old. They told me they wouldn't do any work unless it was done the "right way". So I begrudgingly took my car to the BMW dealership and had them go through the brake system. It turns out... ALL 4 BRAKES WERE FINE, ALL 4 ROTORS WERE FINE, AND ONLY A $30 SENSOR HAD MALFUNCTIONED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED!The Firestone in Harlingen is TRASH and their lack of integrity will keep me from giving any of their stores another dollar of my money!

Came here when my power steering went out on my vehicle. They were honest and upfront with me on what needed to be done and worked hard to fix the issue. They were super patient with me and you can tell they really care about their customers. I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here if it needs repairs. They will not let you down. Wonderful job, guys!

This location is one of the best. Had to take a flat tire in to get checked and it turns out it was a simple fix. They really went above and beyond to fix someone else's mistake at no charge! Amazing service.

I had a problem with an interstate battery. They told me to call the Interstate store in Mcallen. The Mcallen Interstate store, told me , Firestone Harlingen, should assist me. My father would always go to the Firestone in San Benito. I went there, and they took care of the problem with the battery. Cleaned the posts, recharged the battery, and offered tips to maintain the battery. They did a tire check on all tires, and provided first class customer service. As a former store manager of 23 years, I expect excellent customer service, which is not found today, in many stores. I applaud the San Benito Firestone management and staff, for taking care of me. Great clean store, excellent displays, and prompt service. Let's get with it Harlingen store!!!!!

I recently got my Tacoma lifted with some new wheels and tires. Afterwards I really needed an alignment, so we looked for Firestone to help me out.I d never been to a Firestone establishment, let alone use their automative products but I was told a Supervisor that he d knock the price down a bit for me for a total alignment and topping off my fluids.Sam, the Technician popped in a few times while I was waiting to update me on the difference he d made so far. At first the document was confusing but he explained everything to me, how camber and toe worked and what he d do to get my truck into spec.He even showed me how he adjusted the truck when it was on the lift and in the end the difference was amazing. I was extremely impressed with their customer service and kindness. They go above and beyond in my book and I d honestly recommend anyone who needs anything done by any of their very skilled and friendly Technicians.Props to Sam again for his great work, I drove back home to San Antonio that afternoon and the ride difference was night and day. Felt safe and satisfied with his quick and efficient work.

Ridiculous waiting time. Takes them half a day or more for oil change and twice they failed to rotate tires. Staff has been friendly and willing to get the job done, but they seem to be short handed and overworked all the time. Last time I was there an elderly lady was there for over two hours just to get her state inspection. I'm taking my personal and company's business elsewhere.

This place doesn't even deserve one star on this review. I took my car in today around 1:30pm for an oil change. I knew it would take awhile so I had someone pick me up. We went to get a bite to eat and then went to buy groceries. Went back to pick up my car around 4:30pm. It was still sitting in the same place. They had not even touched it. The man at the counter said "oh your car is next!" I said " no im taking my car now!" I felt 3 hours was long enough.... never going there again. UGH!

$800 from discount tires or 645 at firestone. . Great customer service from SERGIO.THIS GUY WENT FAR AND BEYOND. He should be the store manager at this store. Next time u go to this store ask for Sergio, he will make u fill like a friend.

Bought all 4 tires and 2 blow out under 3 months.."Supposly" they have warranty for a year and i go and they tell me i have to pay. Ridiculous never again.

If I had a choice I wouldn't even give them the one star rating! Worse customer service ever! Took in my vehicle on a Wednesday and I was told it would be running the next day. Two weeks later my vehicle still was not running and they couldn't tell me what was really wrong with it. I eventually had to tow my own vehicle back to my home and I may add in worse condition then when I had drop it off. They removed my computer and have yet to return back my original like they said they would. Raul was the one who kept us on the run around. To top it off the mechanic that was working on our vehicle look very young and obviously didnt have that much experience. Definitely would not recommend this place unless you are willing to take the risk and pay double the price.

I had an appointment for an oil change at 9 am. It was an hour and 15 mins until they even brought my car into the garage. I watched people that got here after me leave before me.Over all, I was here for 2 and a half hours for an oil change! I made an appointment so that I wouldn't have to wait this long! Absolutely unacceptable.

Called regarding lifetime alignment I purchased for my truck a few years ago, the guy couldn't find a "record" of it. He did find theil one purchased a few months ago for my car. Hum, he called me by my previous last name, not my current last name so how come he "could not find the record??" When I mentioned the change of name he suddenly found the record for the truck. Made an appointment and still took 7hrs and didn't get the alignment I went in for. They wanted to do $2400 worth of other stuff....went to two other places and no one found all the claimed issues with my truck...rip off.
