Just a bad deal. Bring a wheel and tire to them that had a slow leak. Drop off at 9:26 wasn t done until 2:07. I will give there was a couple of phone calls they had to make but not 4.5 hours. The wheel was muddy, now why would you balance a tire with mud on the wheel and then tell a customer that you don t have room to at least scrape the dried mud off. Poor service if you ask me. It was obvious that sales didn t care a bit.

I went to my appointment at 8:45 and quickly got attended by Matthew. He was very nice and informative about what was going on with my tires. He also helped me with purchasing wheels and wasn t bothered that I was talking a while to look at prices and how the wheels looked on my car. The staff overall were really great. They take care of their customers.

Had a blowout of one of my tires they were the closest tire retailer. No appointment - just walked in on a very crowded afternoon.First thing that impressed me - they acknowledged that I was standing in a long line and twice told me that they realized I was having to wait and thanked me for doing that.When it was my turn they were courteous and extremely professional. And their prices were fair and competitive.It took awhile to get the tires installed, but they had a comfortable and clean waiting area.Would definitely use this location again. Most highly recommended!

Where to start. My mother's in law car needed tires. She has early dementia.(80 plus years old) I called discount tire to set appointment for her tires. I was given the price on the tires she needs on her car. Which was great. My mother in law having been told I set the appointment she called and reassured the appointment when she did she was given a higher quote. I asked her for her phone and spoke with the sales person to ask why he gave her a higher quote. Representative apologized and put the quote I was given. Well my sister in law took her mother my mother in law and the Representative took my mother in law a side and convinced her to purchase the tires the Representative wanted to sell her. My mother in law ended up paying $75.00 more for each tire she was taken advantage of due to her age and disability. This is also reported to the BBB.

I was on vacation in South Padre Island and struck a curb puncturing the side wall. I called and Eddie ordered the tire on the same day and it was in by 1pm. Arrived and service was quick. This is why I always purchase my tires from Discount. Thank you Eddie for all your help.

The crew at Discount Tire in Harlingen have been great. I ordered a rim for my vehicle and when it came in it was the wrong color. No problem they said. They ordered another and allowed me to swap them out. In the process of replacing one of my tires from the old rim to the new rim they accidentally damaged my old tire. No problem they told me again. They then replaced the old tire with a brand new one and included all warranties too.

Last week, I stopped by the Harlingen location to have the air pressure on my tires checked. Rey assisted me and informed me that my tires needed to he replaced.He quickly got me three price quotes. I didnt even have to leave my car. Today I went in and purchased the tires. The gentlemen who assisted me were helpful and professional. Great customer service all the way around!

I came to DiscountTire in Harlingen, after stopping at the one in Brownsville. The Discount Tire in Harlingen, Texas is the only one I will recommend. As I walked in I was greeted by a friendly staff. I was helped by Eron hopefully I'm getting his name correctly. He was very friendly and asked me what he could help me with. I said I need new tires. He inspected my vehicle and in a friendly manner said my tires still had some life on them but I explained that I had already repaired two of them. So he helped me with the process of getting 4 new tires. I'm very pleased with the service and would recommend buying tires with them. I would recommend making an appointment if you don't want to wait for service to be done.

Needed a couple front tires on our RV tow car. I have always trusted Discount Tire and use them whenever possible. Sam ordered the tires yesterday and called me this morning to say they were in, had me in a d out in less than an hour....Great Service every time!!!

I purchased 4 -Goodyear Endurance-ST225/75/R15 E-tires from Discount Tire, Harlingen, TX.The customer service was outstanding. Matt, the person that took my order and set up my appointment did an excellent job. He showed me where to pull my rig and park to get my tires installed. I made my appointment about 2 weeks after the tire purchase. I called 2 days before my appointment just to make sure everything was copasetic. I arrived about 8:40 am for my 9:00 am appointment. They checked me in and within about 10 minutes 2 Discount Tire technicians came out and jacked up my trailer. They removed the wheels and had the new tires put on the rims and balanced within about 30 minutes. Jose then was alone when he installed the tires. Jose was very good. He did a great job. He hand torqued the lug nuts. He then helped me exit the parking lot. I had to back up about 50 feet to be able to turn out of the driveway. By 10:15 am I was on my way back to the RV Park. Very satisfied with the whole experience at Discount Tire. I highly recommend Discount Tire in Harligen, TX. if you ever need tires or service.

I highly recommend anyone coming in to make an online appointment. When I showed up for mine, this place was busy with a long line of walk-ins. I went straight to the appointment line and was out of there with new tires in an hour. Staff is very friendly.

The young man who assessed the tires on my rental vehicle found a nail in one tire. He had me move the vehicle to call the rental agency. He completed the necessary paperwork while I made the call. I went inside to wait. The tire was repaired, and I was on my way. Several servicemen asked if I had been helped. Great customer service!!

Very honest and trustworthy. I have been using them for years for all of the cars in my family. The service is excellent and the prices are outstanding! I absolutely love feature of setting an appointment when it's not an emergency as that saves me a great deal of time!

Been using this location for several years now. Other than a couple hiccups everything has been on the up N up and this franchise has always backed up their work. The staff here are normally very Deep South Texas Friendly and business oriented! As a traveling kinda guy, if I have a tire issue, discount tire has lots of stores across the country. I have used the warranty on several occasions at other locations without unnecessary hassle.. The new communist flu appointment system seems like WAY overkill but as long as I don't need to have a face shackle on, I won't deny your right to be a sheep. Win win! I will continue to utilize businesses that respect my freedom and deny those that trample on it. Plotted. Scouts Screening forward..

i have stopped using discount tire primarily because of the warranty. they will literally say anything they can to not cover road hazard warranty. i encourage everyone to stop using them. its been nice going elsewhere. I cant buy a certificate anywhere else but guess what. discount wont cover it anyways so whats the difference.

We were very pleased with this crew, particularly since we had a tire going down on our way through Harlingen and wanted to avoid bigger problems X miles outside of town. Joe and Anderson were our main points of contact and were definite pros. Store was very busy (it was a Monday), but they kept things moving and beat the original estimate for completion by about 20 minutes.

My experience at this discount tire was excellent! Made an appointment the night before and when I showed up for my time they took care of me right away! J.J had excellent customer service and made my transaction smooth! Thank you Discount Tire!

Three stars given because I felt one tech didn't try hard enough to find a slow leak on my tire and one other thing....The pros:-Service was quick despite them being busy. My car was ready sooner than expected. ( First and third visit)-I had two flat tires fixed on the same visit for "free". (First visit)-They honored the price of a competitor from the internet on two new tires. (Second visit)-No scare tactics were used to get me to buy new tires. (Major plus)-No pushy salesman. (Second visit)-The tires I wanted had to be shipped to the store but in my case they arrived the next day.The cons:-I had to help (gladly) the tech find a slow leak on one tire.-I CAN'T prove one way or the other but I got my car back with a broken lug (tire stud).-The "certificates" they sell you for road hazards have fine print in the terms and conditions. Be sure you agree to the terms and conditions before buying a certificate.The time of my visit was near closing time and maybe that's why they didn't mention a broken lug. I'm mechanically inclined and understand that sometimes parts break in the process of doing work. I still believe that the could have at least mentioned it to me.

Great fast service. I ordered the tires for my wife's car online and made an appointment. I arrived early and they took me in. 4 tires replaced total time in store less then 40 minutes. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

Always great to come here , cause the customer service is excellent. The warranty, free flat repairs, exc.. is always great to have and they do it without hesitation to get you back in the road.

Every time these guys change my tire my sensors go out. Two went out this time. Makes you wonder what they are doing to our cars.
