Worst towing company. They take advantage of you and your business. Charged us 30k to move two wrecked units claiming a whole bunch of pick up and cleaning fees. What makes it worse is that they stole equipment and chemical hoses out of my trailer.Clearly on the pictures at the moment of picking up the wrecked truck and trailer the hoses were there, but they never released the pictures when they dropped the units. Claiming the hoses where there and the whole equipment was there when they dropped if off at the mechanic.I got the evidence from the mechanic of the missing equipment at the drop off, yet Capital Towing kept ignoring the emails, the calls and claimed they did not have our equipment. Finally, they insulted us and treated to call the police which we would have loved that. because they are bullies and abusive company. Everyone that works there. Drivers, receptionist and managers who never bother to call back.

Customer service could benefit from enhancing their interpersonal skills, specifically by displaying greater patience when addressing basic questions. This is evident from my recent exchange where I asked if there were alternative locations and received a discourteous response followed by an unceremonious hangup .4th reply- My review may be irrelevant to your business, but it was also solely on your customer service via phone. Thank you for acknowledging my review as baseless and pointless, which reflects your company's indifference towards addressing minor issues such asking a question via phone call with professionalism.

I waited on a busy night for at least 2 hours but the driver was wonderful and they did service me after hours so I know not all towing works late overall I'd use them again for all my towing services

I am unable to respond to the owner of the business as it seems that they have mistaken me for another customer. Despite never having seen their employee face-to-face, I contacted their office with a simple question about whether or not they had an alternative location. Unfortunately, this mistake has led to misinformation being shared and wasted time. It is unfortunate that this type of error would occur in your company resulting negative reviews.Edit: (Adding to the 2nd reply from business owner)It's perplexing that rather than apologizing for poor customer service experiences shared on public platforms, you opt to disclose client information without consent nor relevance; perhaps focusing more efforts towards improving your customer service would be beneficial. For reference, I am not your customer s sister. I am speaking up for anyone that has had poor customer service with your company.(3rd reply)What is unfortunate is that you continue to provide information that is not relevant to my review. While your towing services may be great and your drivers may be amazing, my critique is solely based on the abrupt behavior of your employee. I will not tolerate poor customer service. Additionally, you are assuming that I need to provide reasons for why my car was impounded when, in fact, I have never had a vehicle with your company. You are making assumptions as you have been from the beginning and providing me with incorrect information. My call to your business was simply to ask for your location as your website shows an address in Harlingen while social media indicates San Benito. If you have voice recordings on your business phones I highly recommend reviewing that and you will know that I did not harass, but asked as nicely as possible solely about your location. I had no items impounded with you. Your response only further illustrates your lack of understanding and competence. Have a day!

I am very unpleased with the service I had today. I needed to have my car moved bcs it isn t drivable at the moment and my husband who speaks both Spanish and English asked the Spanish speaking driver in Spanish if he could turn our vehicle around so that is facing the right way and he did not do that he just reversed it and parked it and we didn t want to make it a big deal so we just let him finish the job but then afterwards a cop came to examine it and said it was facing against traffic and that it needs to be turned around the right way so I called the towing company and spoke to the manager who was not helpful at all and was telling me I would have to pay another full charge to have them come out here! It hasn t even been an hour since he left she was honestly kind of rude and not empathetic with me since it was her driver who didn t do what we asked. I m just disappointed in how this whole situation was handled and believe it could ve been handled better, not even a discount or an apology was offered and when I said I would include all this in my review she said she looks forward to seeing my review as if she doesn t even care. Customer service is a huge deal in any customer based industry so I definitely feel like I was not valued as a customer and I wasn t even the one in the wrong. I would definitely recommend going with another company who actually takes customer service seriously bcs without us, their customers they would not be in business.

I called Capital Towing when my car broke down in the middle of an intersection. I was blocking traffic and they gave me an eta of 15 min next thing I know they were there within 5 min. Super professional and knowledgeable great at what they do

Drivers don t speak English. If you don t speak Spanish, you better go somewhere elseSo they abandoned the service call without contacting me. I was using them through Texas Farm Bureau Roadside Services.They said my review was racially motivated. I live in the United States and not in Mexico. I pay for services in the USA NOT Mexico. I called Capital Towing after breaking down at the McAllen airport picking up a family member. They were amazing!! The driver was very knowledgeable, and considerate of the situation. He got to me fast, loaded up my car, and then got me to my house quickly. The price was very affordable and the phone staff was super helpful in coordinating the tow. I even used them the next day to tow me to the dealership to get my car worked on. I would absolutely recommend to anyone who needs a tow to call Capital!Service: Car towing

The driver was great. But the management and or operating partners attempted to defraud me and my insurance company. I was told nobody would be heading to me and my family until I put my card on file because my roadside assistance only covered a certain amount of miles. So I did what anyone would do... in good faith I gave my card information. Then they lied to my insurance company claiming they provided far more services than they actually did. They told my insurance company they had to take me an hour away.... in all reality we only went 7 miles up the highway. Once we confronted about this lie and several others I was told I couldn't be helped because of my attitude. I do not want a discount, a refund, or a free service. I want pay for the work that was done. I have integrity and value peoples time, energy and skill. But that appreciation goes out the window when you are constantly lied to and insulted by money hungry opportunist who stole from me in a crisis. This company is disgusting and I hope it was worth it.Service: Car towing

Harlingen, Capital one towing,Has had my car since 07-05 - 23 all of my medication,that is a vital part to my health , telephone,all my credit cards and medical cards are being held from me obtaing curcile medications.I was arrestedg after being pulled over,told I was not allowed to retrieve my purse,Phone, vital medication in my purse I couldn't even have my keys to my house..I was released in the very next morning (Judge released me on no probability of cause..) once,I was able to find out where my car was I was told that I had to give them in CASH mind you,$619.00 dollars for my vehicle not being with them even a whole night,if I wanted my car.I TRIED TO EXPLAIN to the lady on the phone with me that I am a widow on social security and don't have that kind of money. This woman was very rude when I ask if I could at least remove my medication's and purse because I was indire need of my medication.she therefore told me that I would have to call back another time to make arrangements in oder to try and get my medication.Iwas told once again I'd have to wait another day which I was reminded that fee's would resume each day with 21.00per day.my car was simply pulled over left running and I have no car, no phone most of all Medication. My son, my daughter in-law including my self have gotten nowhere. I guess now i will have to bring my lawyer.

On Saturday I got in an accident and got stuck in a ditch. The police called them to take it out, the truck was still in good conditions nothing was harmed. but on the process, the guy made a pull and one of the disc brakes got messed up. I called to tell them about it and told them it was their wrong doing but said they aren t responsible for it. The towing was expensive so the least you expect is the job to get done right and not get you car damaged.

Very unprofessional. Hadn't had time to leave a review from last month, but this 1 lady blondie was Rude and unprofessional on phone and In person. There was one young girl who seemed sweet but that other lady looked llike overbearing and controlling towards her. Made the wrecker from another tow company wait over 30min on purpose and ended up leaving our vehicle on street instead of letting us go into get it. Not once did they give a courtesy to let us know they had brought it out. Extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend.01/18/22 To your reply that this is spam. How did you come to that conclusion? This is not spam and I have the pics to prove it of what your company did and how it was handled. Reading the other negative reviews just now. This looks like something you all form a habit of doing to get out of your unprofessionalism and when someone comes to leave a review you blame it that it's Spam. Take responsibility for the company's actions/failures and learn how to fix the customers issues and concerns so it won't happen again. Otherwise, it just shows you as a company don't care for what your customers think or feel.

Called because needed a tow. Waited for an hour after I was told would be there in 30 minutes. So I called and the lady was just rude. Asked her how long was it going to be and she said 30 minutes, so I asked if it was 30 minutes more and she said no it takes 30 minutes to get to me. So I let her know that the driver said he would be here at 430 and now it was 5pm. She said it only takes 30 minutes, so I laughed and said but we have already been waiting an hour, then she said you can just cancel. I said I didn't want to cancel, just wanted to get towed. After another 20 minutes she called and canceled. I called their office directly a 956 number, however seems when they get a bad review they don't show any sign of serving you. Shows that the company as a whole is unprofessional. Please save you time and $ and go somewhere else.Service: Car towing
