I've purchased many cars from Bert Ogden Toyota over the years, and each time the experience has been top-notch. Juan Gonzales is always professional, friendly, and goes over and beyond to find the car you want. David in financing is also great, and they work hard to find the best rates and options for their customers. I can't recommend this dealership enough! I had the worst experience today. I previously purchased my 2017 Toyota Corolla from this dealership. It is a vehicle I now own. I went into the dealership alone as a single woman, and the salesman definitely tried to take advantage of this fact. I informed them of the options I wanted to evaluate today. Repairing my current car vs. using it as a trade in and lease or looking at a used car. They took my keys to evaluate for a trade, I would have to ask for my keys 2-3 times to get them back. I let the salesman know what cars I liked and asked about used models which he stated they did not have in stock without checking the system. He showed me the vehicles they had and I test drove one. I inquired about a vehicle I saw on the lot which he proceeded to tell me was recalled, used and he did not recommend. But it was on the lot for sale so I'm not sure how that made any sense. Throughout the test drive he seemed bothed by the questions I asked. As if to think "Why would I be entitled to ask questions, I should just take his word for it." When we went back into the office he directly asked me how I would like to pay and how much I would put down. At no point prior to this had he given me my trade in value or discussed my budget he just wanted me to buy. I redirected him to reiterate again I wanted to evaluate my trade in options and options for lease. He came back to me with 4,000 as the amount my vehicle was valued at. I asked him to explain the reasoning for the value. I advised him that I was expecting between 9-11 thousand as per a Kelly Blue Book appraisal considering this is what the vehicle would be valued at in "poor condition"He seemed bothered that I questioned this, and he would ask a manager. He continued to review how the 3 yr. Lease would cost $969 monthly. I told him I was better off just fixing my car and asked him for my keys. He said that didn't make sense to him and proceeded to try to influence me to trade in and obtain the car we test drove. He showed me 3 other vehicles online that were used and closer to my budget (which he never asked for to begin with)He asked me if I wanted to request to see them, I wrote down the model number, and said no. At this point I knew I was being played because I am a young woman in a dealership alone, and I had no desire to be hustled and pressured into a purchase. A manager arrived and I declined the offer provided to me as the manager tried to explain why they can only give me 4,000 for my trade in. I requested my keys again. I left agitated, and annoyed. I hate dealerships and the way they do business in order to meet a quota and try to screw you and make you think they're doing you a favor.

Great experience! Everyone was very helpful from the moment I stepped foot at the agency! I went in for a new vehicle yesterday and was assisted by Bryan, and he was very friendly and really helped cater to my situation and what I was looking for. They definitely went the extra mile for me and you can tell they really do enjoy their job and value their customers.

David the salesman, was very pleasant to work with. He listened to what we needed in regards to our budget and accessory needs for the vehicle. Oscar the sales manager worked up the numbers to where the payment would fall within our means, and David the finance guy was exceptional at explaining warranties and all of the paperwork. We were very impressed with the easy high tech way of how business was conducted. Bert Ogden Toyota has earned an excellent reputation in our book with these fabulous and courteous employees. Business as how it should be done!

Everyone should go here to get their car. The experience was easy and honestly pretty fun and I wasn t expecting to have that kind of experience at a car dealership. But for my first experience buying a car, I m actually very happy and felt like the buying a car experience wasn t as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Mauricio helped me throughout the whole process and was the most honest and helpful car salesman I ve ever met. He s also pretty funny so if you ve got a sense of humor you ll like him. Thanks again Toyota!!

The Attentiveness, Respect & Quality of Service was Outstanding! From the online selection, online application, sales Rep and Finance Rep, all provided exceptional service. The process was fairly quick and the Sales Rep, Luis even provided assistance with selecting a New Insurance Provider that had reasonable prices. Over all the entire experience of purchasing my 1st Toyota was hands down Superior to any other dealership! I am greatful and especially please with the service here. Oh and may I add, I absolutely LOVE my New Tundra Thank You Luis for everything! Thank You Bert Ogden for having a wonderful Team!

The sales man bull was really helpful and very communicative. Was such a great experience over all and then when it came down to signing paper Roger had such a great attitude and was also so helpful! Over all I recommend Toyota for a car for sure. I have a 2007 Camry and now a 2024 Camry and I love both of them so much great cars!

As a first time car buyer you hear horror stories about how staff at dealerships con and take advantage of you. I am so happy to say that my experience was nothing like that. I was so nervous to purchase a vehicle for the first time but Bull and Roger were amazing! They had so much patience with me and explained every part of the process thoroughly. I left the establishment knowing I got a great deal and an even greater car! I will definitely be back when I am in need of another vehicle.

Just got my 2024 Venza. My parents have worked with Bert Ogden Toyota before and have loved their experiences. I decided to trade my Santa Fe for a venza. I worked with Ray and he did awesome showing me the vehicle to showing me the features. Ray was a good salesman who helped get us and listened to what we wanted in a vehicle. Ray helped with a good deal as well. Roger G. worked out an awesome deal for us when signing as well. We came back to sign for a Toyota Corolla hybrid as well.

Unfortunately for me, this has been by far my worst experience purchasing a vehicle. There was lack of communication between managers as well as with salesman. I inquired in a vehicle and Jeff ,Sales Manager, confirmed vehicle was available. My appointment was scheduled for that same day at 5:45p. I arrived at 6:15p, greeted by Bull, salesman, and my info was taken. Jeff, Sales Manager, comes and introduces himself, had a pleasant conversation while they were looking for keys. Mr. Jeff goes back into his office and out comes Bull, salesman, to inform me that car had sold earlier that day by another manager and salesman to someone from Midland, TX who had just wired them $3,200. Jeff never came out if his office to offer an apology or try to offer me any other vehicle. I was just left in the lobby sitting there.Two days later, the vehicle is listed for sale at the Mercedes outlet store. I asked for confirmation of vehicle being available and was told that the vehicle was there and they set another appointment for Thursday at 6:15p. Appointment confirmed.I call the Toyota dealership and asked to speak to GM, instead, the Internet Sales Manager, Annie Garza reaches out to me and confirms that the vehicle was sold and it was just parked at the Mercedes outlet for owner to pick up.I asked Ms. Garza how can they make it right this time and I sent her 2 other vehicles I was interested in. She replied that on one, there was nothing she could do but Stick to internet price. I replied to her text and asked about the other vehicle. She never replied back.Extremely poor customer service and unprofessionalism. Very disappointed and discouraged.Bert Ogden Toyota has just lost a verly loyal customer as I have purchased numerous vehicles from Bert Ogden Dealerships.I ended up purchasing from the Mercedes-Benz in Harlingen where I was treated with respect.

As a 1st time buyer I was a little nervous, but the entire experience was amazing, I got a lower interest than I was being quoted anywhere else, these guys really love their customers and love what they do. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back when it s time to upgrade!!
