Mauricio was awesome. He gave us a tour of the different Bert Ogden locations, let us test drive multiple cars. After being indecisive, he brought the car to my home the next day to take it around my neighborhood while explaining features. He was not a high pressure salesman, was friendly and went above and beyond. In the end, I purchased the vehicle I tested three separate times. Highly recommended.

I've purchased many vehicles over my lifetime and my most recent experience with Bert Ogden in Harlingen was one of the sketchiest.The salesperson and the F&I manager were very unethical and untrustworthy in the way they misled me as a customer. I was left feeling more like I was dealing with a low cost used car lot rather than a new car dealer.What's more, once I caught them and called them out prior to completing the deal, I never received the survey typically sent after a new car purchase because they knew it would reflect negatively on them.I definitely would not recommend doing business with them under their current management unless you like slick salesmanship and unethical business practices.

Called to order a part for our Wrangler and left the first VM message at 10AM. I then called at 4:30 and went to VM again. Never did get a callback. Business must be good if they don't need to return calls, but they won't be getting any of my business. There is another dealer down the highway.

I am very happy with my service here at Ogden's.I have a Jeep which wouldn't start because of one of the batteries had gone bad. (I could jump start it). I had brought it to another dealership and they said that it'd be up to 48 hours before they could diagnose which battery was the problem AFTER I brought it in. I called Lori at Ogden's and she informed me that they could diagnose and replace the battery/batteries that same day so a retrieved my Jeep from the other dealership and brought it here. They were able to diagnose which battery failed and replace it within 4 hours.Very nice people and quick service. I suggest that local CDJR owners have their services done here.

A little disappointed with the service department. My vehicle was there for almost six weeks waiting for one part or another. Finally got it home. Weeks later it started developing a noise from the rear axle area. It turns out that four of the five lug nuts were left loose.

Would never work with this dealership AGAIN! General Manager likes to jerk customers around and apparently not interested in making a sale. And can't keep his story straight with documents required. We have many friends who were looking into purchasing jeeps in the immediate future. You can bet we will be referring them to another dealership in the RGV.

Chase Stockton was so great and patience with us during the process. He and the finance managers tailored to our every needs and made it possible to get us in a vehicle best suited for our family. We will definitely be back in the future and will be glad to refer our family and friends.

Shortly after arriving to my house I noticed a big oil stain on my driveway, unknown if it s a leak or leftover oil from them removing the oil filter either way it left a mess on my driveway. Quality control needs to be enforced. Customer service was great but I don t appreciate a sloppy job.

We had a very pleasant experience with Chase Stockton. Chase was thorough and patient and had a very pleasant disposition. Chase is a great asset to your establishment. Chase s manner of customer service is rare these days so it was refreshing and appreciated.

After having to keep asking about my license plate they finally arrived. I came yesterday to pick them up and my car was missing the frame. I was told to come in the next morning and they would be able to put them I also mentioned to them an issue my car was having and they told me they would be able to take a look. I get here and the service rep tells me that nothing can be done today and he starts to tell me if my car doesn t have any warning signs I would get charge a fee so they can check. He starts to say that he doesn t know what the sales people promised but that they re wrong so basically saying the sales people just lie and promise stuff to clients to get the sale. Worse place ever was planning on buying another car but not here. Don t even bother with this place

The service staff at the Harlingen, TX location were very friendly and willing to help. My point of contact was a gentleman by the name of Mario. I had to leave my vehicle at the service department for a month and a week due to a part being out of stock and my car not being drivable(which was not the dealership's fault by the way). He went out of his way to notify me with updates to repairs being done to my car almost on a daily basis which eased my concern and made me feel like the shop was trying to it's best to complete repairs quickly and efficiently. Overall, I was very satisfied with the outcome of the repairs, the care and attention provided by the staff, and I highly recommend this location. That guy Mario deserves a raise for what a great job he does! Good job Mario, keep up the great customer service Thank you to all of the Bert Ogden Dodge Service department!

A year ago I drove my 1996 Dodge Caravan to The Valley from New York. Recently it developed a couple of minor issues requiring service. Not knowing anyone locally, I thought the dealer would be my best choice for fixing the issues. I went to their website and it allowed me to make an appointment without issue. When I arrived for the appointment the intake lady promptly informed me dealer policy is not to work on anything more than 10 years old or more than 100,000 miles. So why does the website allow me to make an appointment for a vehicle more than 10 years old? I wrote a complaint on the Contact Us link on the website. No response. I m forced to conclude this dealership is elitist, has no qualms about wasting people s time and feels no responsibility to respond to inquiries. Further, I believe one can infer from their policy that they are not well capacitated to work on cars needing anything more complicated than an oil change. Their Google reviews are full of responses about striving to provide good service but talk is cheap.

this was my second time buying a car from Bert Ogden but this time I can say was the worst. There was absolutely nothing smooth about the process at all. At first they couldn t get the truck on due to the battery not working because it was sitting on the lot for a while then the key had then lost and we had to go back a different day and we were told the lock smith would go through the day so it could be ready for the next day. We showed up the next day and the lock smith had still not gone and didn t not let us know before us showing up or they could have rescheduled. Once they finally managed to get the key and jump start the truck we were able to test drive it and once we got back and turned it off the truck wouldn t start again so they replaced the battery once to talking about numbers they made a crazy amount of miscommunication told one thing by the sales people and then a totally different thing by the financial manager Domingo aka mingo once we finally got to closing the deal 4-5 days later we were told we d be getting a spare key it s been about a week and a half and we are still yet to receive an update on that spare key. The salesman chase was very polite throughout the process but the amount is miscommunication is absurd. **** Update: 12/7/2023 we were told the trucks plates/tags were ready when they were not ready as per the finance manager Domingo Lopez aka mingo the plates they have belong to the last person who tried purchasing the truck and how it was a silly simple mistake. I proceeded to tell him how his little mistake costs us time and gas and he continued to say I only know about the mistakes that s occurred here This finance manager s mannerisms, attitude and body language really does match up to his sad sorry or being in prison whether it s true or not of working his way up it s also ridiculous for a well known company such as Bert Ogden to have a criminal handle so much sensitive information when he has absolutely no professional work ethic.

Lousy, I was looking for a particular car and roamed about their SELECT Store for a while and never found it; via phone their staff told it was there. I passed up a couple of salespersons, apparently they are not there to sell cars; I did get my steps in tho. Perfect place for the GMC Houdini folks to shop!

DO NOT get a vehicle here or a grand Cherokee in general! Got my jeep in August BRAND NEW and been having issues with it since. But since my jeep is driveable and people have worse issues then mine it isn t an issue. Took it twice in a day & ended up leaving it to get fixed for a week, & never got a call it was ready till I got here to check on it & it was just parked. Now I m back here to leave it again for the 3rd time or 4th time who knows now. Ridiculous! & I have videos and pictures of things my vehicle does that is not normal for a NEW vehicle.

Went in for an oil change and rotation of tires and had great customer service from the service department all were very kind and answered all my questions they were great and helped me in all my needs. They were quick so I was ready to continue my day with my daily routines. Thank you for everything

They did everything possible to get me the deal we both deserved. The salesman and floor manager were excellent at their jobs. I felt like they knew what I wanted and needed at the end of the day was to create a long lasting relationship with Bert Ogden. They have earned my purchasing in the future for all my car and service needs.

Always have such a great experience. This is my third vehicle purchase at Bert Ogden CDJR Harlingen, and each time I received excellent service. Our sales associate Blake was helpful throughout the process, and Scott really went the extra mile to get us the best deal possible. Will return the the future, and refer friends and family.

Just wanted to state that the experience I had with the sales department and attention that I got with my sales person Chase no hassle no nagging just straight personal thought given on my decision on what vehicle I was going to get. I ve purchased a 4 new vehicles from different car dealerships and the experience I got here is top notch, I really felt that they cared about me, my feelings and not pushing me to a inevitable decision, he wanted me to make a good decision. I thank you for this and sure will be back here.

It is a shame so many nice things stated about this place. They sold me a Jeep Rubicon Price tag $56,000, straight out of the dealer no DEF fluid was added by them broke my sensor, then my auto/start does not work because it literally states start/stop not ready they stated the battery was draining due to a burnt fuse so they swapped them, and now They are stating it has to do with cabin pressure and keeping My a/c at 65 degrees will make it work. It s a diesel vehicle. so they stated it s working properly, when indeed does not work. Pic below, I ll post daily picture until it decides to be ready. ..........UPDATE......................The response from the service manager, sales manager, and communication manager have not been pleasant, in fact there were no responses at all, so let s not pretend you all have been great to us. Please. you all were giving us the run around and would not answer our calls, I had to pretend I was buying a car just to get a manager on the line and when I did, still no results, after moving heaven and earth, keep in mind the Jeep was 60,000, We were able to sit down with the general manager who had no idea of what was going on because when I would ask for him they pretended he did not exist. Be Aware where you buy your car.

Be careful with the service department, they will try to over charge you. We purchased the service package but when my farther in law presented the service department tried to charge him $150 for something under contract. When I took it they didn t question me but they questioned my wife when she went to pick up the car. Be careful when taking your car here because they will try to over charge if they can get away with it. Also, no one called me to tell me my vehicle was ready. I had to call myself to get updates.

I had the pleasure of working with Chase Stockton today. His professionalism and knowledge of the vehicle I am interested in was spot on. I really appreciate a sales rep that is interested in the customers needs. While my husband and I will not be purchasing until September, he was very willing to work with me and show me a vehicle that would be a good fit for our needs. Thank You Chase!

I made an appointment online for a suspension/alignment issue for Saturday, Feb 10 at 9am. When I arrived at the service department of the dealership, I was approached by a very abrasive service advisor who stated they don't make appointments online. That statement is obviously false, since I scheduled my appointment online. The service manager told me they do not have mechanics available that can work on suspension issues on the weekend and said he didn't know how the website allowed me to schedule an appointment. I was rescheduled for an appointment on Monday. No apologies offered, no empathy. Bad people skills.

WORSE SERVICE EVER !!When I brought the vehicle in the a/c was working, but not keeping up in the hottest part of the day.When I picked it up it wasn t cooling at all.They said there was no compression with the compressor and advised not to add Freon. I decided to take their advice because they wanted another $150 to add Freon.I bought an $89 can of Freon from O Rielly Auto Parts, charged the van and now it s cooling. We will never use Bert Ogden again

I took my 2020 Ram rebel in for a diagnostics check up. The vehicle failed to turn on several times. I was able to get the vehicle on and took it straight in. They told me that I had a good battery, but the wrong one. "You have an 850 cranking Amp and you need a 750 cranking Amp." Although I did not believe this to be the issue I went back to autozone and they replaced the battery and noted this is the 1st time they have heard of this in 20 years. I replaced the battery and a few days later the truck won't turn on at all. I went through all this trouble to be stranded 20 miles from home due to the incompetency at the dealership. Their answer was that the problem could not be recreated go get the correct battery. Well I followed instructions and I'm at square 1. I will be following up with the dealership ASAP. I hope they actually have answers this time.
