I've always had a good experience here. They go above and beyond to gain your service and loyalty. I love that they offer warranties for new cars as well. I know employees have come and gone (it's natural in the service industry), but they have always been polite throughout the years I've been going there. Their prices are reasonable as well.

Went in for a tire pressure sensor but ended up buying 4. The replacement time was fairly quick but apparently it was for a reason- By the time I got home I had 1 wheel cap missing. I gave them a call and they told me to come back to try and fix it. When I went back in I had one of the mechanics write down my name and number in a small piece of paper and he told me that they will order it and call me back. 2 days later I lose yet another wheel cap which caused me to check the rest of the wheel caps and I would have lost all my wheel caps if I didn t go over their work because they were all hand tight about to come loose. I was then nervous about the lug nuts being hand tight and had to ensure everything was torqued down. This happened the day before Thanksgiving and it is now late January with no sort of update or contact. I ordered the caps myself and will not even bother going back to this location.

I had to replace a couple of tires on my car this morning so I came in and had the pleasure of being assisted by Mr.Enrique, whom upon inspection of my tires he noticed an issue that I had not previously seen before. His customer service and knowledge of the Job were both exceptional. I also dealt with Mr.Jared and Mr.Delvin who were two of the Technicians who were actually servicing my vehicle, they were both was very polite and ensured that there was not anything left out when doing my service. I would highly recommend getting any tire servicing you need done here and request Mr.Enrique if you can!

I gave discount tire another chance but this will more than likely be my last visit to this location. I set up an appointment for a tire rotation and balance. I was not checked in until 1/2 an hour after checking. It now been over an hour and my vehicle is still not being tended to.. This is way to long of wait for a simple tire rotation and balance

I've been coming here since I bought my car in 2019 for all my tires.However, no more.I took my car a few months back because I needed a new tire and they don't properly train these kids running around changing these tires apparently.As soon as I pulled away in my car after my new tire was put on, I could hear a metallic scraping/grinding noise coming from my driver's side tire i just had replaced. That tire also shook going down the road and it scared me.I took my car in to my brother's dealership that he works at because I needed him to install a couple things for me and an alignment anyways, and my brother takes the tire off and the first thing he points out is that the idiots at discount tire bent my backing plate all to hell.He tried to fix it as best he could, but I now have to spend a couple hundred replacing their screw-up.The second thing my brother points out to me is how my lug nuts were all re-installed BACKWARDS. And then the tire itself was loose, causing all the shaking.What kind of brain dead idiot takes lug nuts off and can't remember which way they even went?You can see in this picture the lug nuts all on backwards.This business and the stooges inside not only caused damage to part of my brake system up front, but they created a dangerous driving situation for me. I could've gotten into an accident if my improperly installed tire had loosened up anymore and come off. Do better or shut your doors. I'm a woman and even I know how to change my own tire and put my lug nuts back on correctly so why are the men here having such a hard time with such a simple task?!I don't recommend doing business here unless you're willing to have your car damaged further.Also, if you're a female the men here will try to take advantage of you if you don't have any clue what they're talking about when they're trying to push sales on you.I've had employees here trying to tell me that I have bad tires or thin tires almost everytime i come in to try to upsell me a brand new $450+ set of tires.My brother does all the work/inspections on my vehicle and frequently has me bring it by for maintenance, and if he says there's not anything wrong with my tires or their thickness I will always listen to him over these any day. He's not an ASE master tech and highest paid at his dealership for no reason, the kid knows his stuff.

Was getting tired of losing 10 psi from my right rear tire every week or two, finally got around to taking it to the shop today and they found this in the tread! Warranty service was excellent, tires rotated and patched at no cost. Big thanks to Daniel at the front desk, and Daniel in the shop; fantastic service, thank you.

I think these guys are the best of Discount tire. Always willing to got the extra mile (letting me check the brake pads while it's up on the jacks and explaining everything about my tires). I have had only worse experiences with other Discount locations, meaning this one is probably the pinnacle in terms of service. I still hold a grudge at the Roswell, NM location for selling me an out of round tire during a road trip. After having all my vehicles serviced here in Harker over the years the only thing of note is a broken plastic tire cap. Discount tire came to me with the mistake and offered to make it right on the spot. Mistakes happen and plastic breaks, and they handled it professionally and courteously. I will keep bringing this Discount tire my business! Shout out to Matthew whom made me wanted to write this review after his exceptional service.

Caught a hole in my tire not even a mile up the road. Get there and they "can't put air in it". Then guy checks tread and says, "oh yeah we can fix it". Go inside to pay for services and guy comes out from behind desk squats next to tire and says, "no your treads too low, it's not safe to repair". So I have to drive 8 miles on a flat to a mom and pop tire shop. Destroyed a good tire and ruined my day. I'd like to leave more choice words for the scam artist working there. Support your local private owned shop 10/10 time before going here. (End of rant)

Went this morning for 2 tires and wiper blades. I was in and out in 20 mins. They all but had a red carpet for me. Great service from Ranse & Kenneth(I think that was his name)! Will definitely return.

Purchased nearly $2000 worth of run flat tires for my elderly mothers car and received scratches on her wheels as a bonus.See attached photo which clearly shows someone being very sloppy with an impact wrench.Thanks discount tire.You ve lost a customer of over 20 years for life.

Never been to Discount Tire before but I needed tires fast for an upcoming trip. Made appointment online. Parked my car and before I walked about 10 steps, a tech waked up to me and said 'Let me grab your keys and get you started!" Car was rolling into the bay! Walked into waiting area and they told me to have a seat. Sent me an app to track progress and it stated install would be about an hour. 25 minutes later, they were all done! FAST FAST FAST...I was skeptical due to fast usually doesn't mean accurate but to my surprise, this was not the case! Great Job Harker Heights Discount Tire!

I had the best experience with this Discount Tire and they gained a customer out of me for life. They were so kind and helpful over the phone with me, even with my babies crying in the background and causing chaos. They truly went above and beyond and I promise you won t find better deals or more honest employees. I m so grateful for their help today. Shout out to Josh who bent over backwards to make a stressful car situation not so bad after all. Thank you thank you thank you!

Couldn't have ask for a better experience. I've been a discount tire customer for 20+ years now, been to various locations, Austin, Pflugerville, Temple, Cedar Park, but this location is the best by far. Max helped me get the proper fitment for my Accord, worked with me to find the best wheel and tire to achieve the look I was going after and I absolutely love the results. The store manager was also extremely helpful when I was returning the tires that I had bought at that store earlier in the month. I didn't like the way they looked on the car. They took them back no questions asked, no hassle no fuss. All the staff and technicians at this location were very friendly and quick to get me in and out of the store. This Harker Heights, Discount Tire location is definitely top notch.

This location is always super busy and the staff here still manages to provide top notch service. I ve gotten tires and a new set of wheels from here. My wheels needed hub centric rings but they didn t have the ones my car needed. I ended up finding the right ones and brought them in and they installed them free of charge. Now my steering wheel and car doesn t vibrate anymore. Whatever these guys make, give them all a raise. They work hard in this Texas heat and the customer service they provide is top notch.

Everytime I go it's generally great. They take care of everything with professionalism. Only reason for 4star is that the tire pressure monitoring usually has a long line even with appointment.

I needed 4 new truck tires they had 3 of what I wanted and went and got the 4th one in less than 15 mins ordered the same tires at Firestone across the street took them 4 days and they ordered the wrong ones... discount tires step up to the plate and hit a home run they get my business from now on

The men were knowledgeable and helped me with my tire needs. They did try to up sale me, but that's normal. They also took their time to ask me if I cared about different features as it pertains to the quality of the tires. All in all you do get what you pay for.

Steven is awesome. I made an appointment on saturday 09-16-23 online for the shorter time to be seen on monday. But 30 minutes later I get a call from Discount Tire asking if I wanted to come in today. I was shocked and yes please. Once we got there Steven immediately helped us and let us know how long it would take and it shouldnt be a long wait. We were in and out of there in 30 minutes. Best process ever. I will always come here for tires and recommend them to everyone. Thank you Steven and every hard worker there.

Great service, made an appointment for a tire that was losing air. Got there, they fixed it and got me out in 30 min. Best part was no charge..even if you didn't get the tire from there. They only start charging once the tire can't be fixed and needs replacing. Happy Camper here! Recommend them for everyone.

My suv kept losing air. I brought it to Discount Tires of Harker Heights. From the moment I arrived, they were super friendly and had great manners. One of the employees saw me approaching the door with a stroller and 3 children and he ran to open the door for me. They checked my tire to see what the issue was. It had a nail and they removed it and patched it up quickly. The best part was that it was FREE. I definitely will be back to purchase new tires when needed.

Y'all helped me tremendously! I got a nail in my tire the day before I was supposed to drive down to the coast and didn't realize it until I was ready to get on the road. I called before I went and Steven helped me tremendously! He set up an appointment to help with the wait t i'll me and was so friendly and professional. He pointed out my tire tread was at 1 and another that was a 2. They were pretty much bald and I knew they were at a dangerous level. He helped me figure out the best options for my situation that was cost effective. Thank you so much for all of your help Steven! I had a great Birthday because of you and everyone that serviced my vehicle! Thank you Discount Tire!!

Update 12-12-23: I responded to the Sly Rawlings, Store MGR. and Jason Cox, Assist VP on 11-27 after receiving their response to my review showing an eagerness to "make it right" after being turned away from having a flat repaired as I was told on the phone they would do for free. I suggested reimburse me for the cost of the flat repair I paid for at Fast Eddie's. Never heard back on them "making it right." Take caution soldiers and civilians. Do your homework and shop around for alternative tire companies and sales. Don't get roped by this Harker Heights company. - JoeVisited 11-20. Had a flat in the morning. It was a nail in my left rear tire. Luckily tire held air 'til after work. I went to this location and a worker goes out to look at it. He falsely claims my tires are so worn and begins his car salesman pitch to sell me new tires. I tell him I am in too much debt at the moment. The tool then tells me, "well then sorry, I'm not going to be able to help you with the tire repair." I had just enough time to barely make it to Fast Eddie's Tire Shop 5609 E Veterans Memorial Blvd (I highly recommend them) where they gladly patched the tire with superb customer service. Hold on to your wallet people when visiting Discount Tire. I recommend you stay far away from this place. They don't give one squat about customers/families and their financial troubles. All they care about is pressuring you into buying new - just like a lying car salesman. They should change their name to Huckster Tire.
