Took to my truck to get my brakes fixed and I had a very good experience while checking in and during the whole process. The lead tech/supervisor was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The wait was reasonable for the amount of work that my truck needed. Shop and waiting area was clean and organized. Kudos for the smooth way all was done. Well run shop.

I'm not impressed. The service is super slow. They don't check what you tell them your concern is. They give you a huge list of things that need to be fixed which ends up being a quote over$1400. They took my wheel lock key. Then when I called them they denied it not once but 3 times. I sent my mechanic in to get it back and they said they didn't have it. Ultimately I sent my husband in and wouldn't you know they happen to have the exact on for my truck. In the end they are over priced and not trust worthy i wouldn't trust them to put gas in my truck.

I was super impressed with the information and service provided. A multi point inspection at the dealership alerted me the rear brake pads were bad and as well as time for an alignment. Decided to try out Brake Check. Their estimate was well below the dealerships', and the technician took the time to explain to me options for the brake job. I was able to make an informed decision, so opted for new front brake pads as well, and maintenance on the rotors. I'm very pleased with the work done, and the professionalism of everyone I interacted with. Even adding in the additional work kept the price well below what the dealership quoted. I'll be using Brake Check again!

Brake Check #428 in Heights are very thorough and detail oriented. They showed me that they care about getting the job done right , even if it meant staying after a little bit to finish the job. I appreciate your work guys. Thank you very much!

Came in for a brake job, that was done no problem. Was told the CV Axles were worn and needed replacement, said fine. They had to keep the car past closing, because of " supply chain issues." Drove the car two days, broke down in a busy intersection, good Samaritans helped push me out of the road. The car had to be towed back to brake check, insurance only covered a portion. Found out wrong CV Axle was put in. An axle for an automatic was used, when the car is a manual. Have been waiting four days so far for the right part from Ford. To be continued when resolved.Update: Took a week to get the right parts installed. Per the people at the Brake Check store, the parts originally installed were defective. Brake Check replaced the parts at no additional charge and reimbursed me for my portion of the towing bill, in addition they added a gift card for future services. In all the store took responsibility for the problem and fixed it. I was only out the car for a week while waiting for the repair. Luckily there was reliable transportation to work for that week. I was called by the store manager, and a few executive managers up the line to insure that I was taken care of and was satisfied with the repairs.

Took wife's Rogue to get the pads and stuff replaced. After a quick walk-around, we found two minor issues on the front location that need to be taken care of. Luckily the parts are in the local area. Needless to say the price went up a bit which is understandable. It is a matter of safety over $. Great experience for sure. .

I did an alignment with Brake Check. So far, so good. I am happy with the results of the alignment. The Tech was well informative. Did some spot checks, and found a minor issue. Made sure I know of the issue. Thank you for the service well done

Had my front rotors and brake pads replaced and initially had a problem with the pads overhanging off the rotors. They swapped out the pads for me and no more overhang. Marco helped me and was professional, patient, and friendly. Great experience overall, would definitely recommend.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Took my car in Friday for a brake check, knowing I needed rear pads, and I got a huge list of things needing done, which I couldn't afford. They also told me I needed new pads and rotors, or at least resurfacing on my rotors, in the front, which had just been replaced not even a year ago. I also replaced the front wheel hubs and they are telling me I need a new passenger side one. I ended up just simply having them replace my rear pads and now my whole car starts to shake at 25 mph and only gets worse. I took it back today and all they are telling me is I need to look at getting my tires balanced yet I literally just got new wheels maybe a month ago, right next door, and it's been driving fine ever since, aside from me needing rear pads. While telling them this, the guy just looked at me with a blank look, wasn't helpful at all, just said, all they did was change my rear pads. He also was telling me I needed new shocks. It's an older car and work needs to be done on it, I know this, but it was literally driving fine until after I took it there. I drive to Austin for work and now I'm scared to. Definitely won't be coming back to get any other work done.

Not the cheapest place around to get repairs, but they do have a lot of flexibility with scheduling so you can almost always get your car in. We paid $2,000 but did not get a total fix on all our brake issues (an additional issue came up after the work they did which meant we had to take it elsewhere to save money). Our original review was 1 star (due to some problems & frustrations we had) BUT I am updating it now because the owner contacted us to make it right, and they made good on that. I truly appreciate the extra steps they took to meet us in the middle.

I was quoted a price of a little over $1400 to fix my brake fluid leak. It seemed high, but I m not a mechanic. I agreed. Following day they called me with a new quote for $2300 because now they found other issues, one of which was that I needed new brake pads! Ha! I told him that I had brand new brake pads less than 48 hours on the car. He told me that driving them with the bad rotors would make them crystallize. I told him that only driving 3/4 of a mile from home to their location should not cause them to need to be replaced. Then he tells me that he didn t know they were new because he didn t really look at them!!?? New quote $1700!!! Brake pads cost $600??!! This place is scamming people!!!!

Staff was friendly, respectful and they did a good job on my Jeep, so far. The service was super slow, I watched them work and it took way longer than needed. Not sure if it was understaffed but my car was sitting on the tower for hours with no action on it, and when they finally started working on the jeep they were done in 30ish min. Also, the price is too much for what you getting(replaced rear rotor disc and brake pads $500 for unknownpart brands similar to O'Reilly parts) maybe thats normal here in central TX . My wheels lug nuts were overly tighten more than 120ft lbs when the recommended is 110-115ft lbs, almost damaged my wheel spacers. Not sure if I will come back, maybe for the free inspection.

I brought my truck here because the brake was activating with the steering wheel, they gave me a list of things to change for the amount of more than 2,400 dollars, they wanted to change a part that I barely had a couple of months (they don't check if the parts need to be replaced) for me the prices are not worth it. They received my truck on Sunday the 25th before 12, they talked to me on Monday night to deliver it to me, but they told me that I didn't have diesel. So when I arrived I asked what happened because I didn't have diesel if the tank was Almost full, they just kept saying that I didn't have it, I was saying that it's very strange because I had it almost full, I asked if they had left it on or if they had used diesel because it was really illogical that I didn't have it, but they ignored my words and kept telling me that I DIDN'T HAVE DIESEL, they made me go twice for the diesel because my truck didn't turn on and they assured me that was the reason because "They only did what they had to do" and when I came back the second time they told me that I was right that they had just seen the photo where it shows, (WHY DIDN'T THEY VERIFY IT BEFORE SAYING AND NOT BELIVING THAT MY TRUCK WAS ALMOST FULL?) So the manager was talking to the one who said he was his manager and who told him that what my truck had was that the diesel pump broke down, because his manager told him by call and WITHOUT VERIFYING that they wanted to buy the diesel pump that that was the problem because "they did a good job". It was already after 7 p.m.,I told him to check the work they had done and they will call me, on Tuesday at 5 o'clock I called to find out what had happened and they told me: "oh, good news, you don't have to buy the diesel pump, what happened was that at the time of lifting it it was out of level and the air came in" and in the end, as I already knew, if it was because of a bad job and instead of checking why it didn't turn on before delivering it, they made me go twice for diesel and almost bought a $500 part. Now, since they gave it to me, my truck doesn't brake as it should and the steering wheel vibrates when I drive at 75 MPH, problems I didn't have before, going here is the stupidest decision I made.Above all, pay more than $2,000 for a horrible experience in this place! The loss of MONEY!!

I had a really great experience! Everyone was very nice that I talked to and very informative of what needed to be done and reasonably priced, a lot cheaper than what the dealership was trying to charge.

I've taken several cars to them for brakes and each time they have done an excellent job! He showed me the brake pads and rotors so I could see for myself that I needed to replace them. I appreciate that as a woman, because I've been ripped off by a mechanic in the past and I feel like I can trust Brake Check. Their prices are also very fair.

Brake check always does a decent shop for me and I haven t had many issues with this location. However, the local competition may be able to beat them in prices regarding brakes and rotors. If you are looking for a quick and easy fix without a focus on finance then brake fix isn t bad.

2:00 appointment for alignment at 2:20 they get keys at 2:24 we don't want to do the alignment until you put new tires on your truck. If that was a real problem every time you got tires you would also need an alignment. To be fare I ask for what I want and don't argue over the rest. After a small back and forth just took my keys back and I'll go elsewhere. After reading some of the other reviews I may have dodged a bad time anyway.
