The guys at Tandem did a perfect job installing a lift kit on my 2020 GX. I told them a specific timeline I needed everything done and they delivered!! I couldn t be happier!

Fantastic experience with the Tandem team. They took great care of my GX460 and have my business for life. Very friendly and informative group. It s a bonus that they handle everything from oil changes to engine swaps.

Honorable, knowledgeable, thorough, conscientious; what more could you ask for at such a fair price! Helped me find a simple cost-effective solution to getting rid of the block in the rear for the 6" BDS Coilover lift kit. The truck rides like a dream, eliminated axle wrap, and as you can see in the photos has 24" of flex with a sway bar on! The best place to get an alignment too for heavily modified vehicles. Took only two attempts to get mine dialed in perfect on 35" tires with a 6" lift! Best of all they love Toyotas and specialize in those! Nuff said!

I was referred to Tandem as being the best shop in DFW for vintage Toyota trucks repair and upgrades. The guys (Alex and Pablo) were great. These guys are true Toyota truck enthusiasts. Very knowledgeable and passionate. They performed some major work on my 82 Toyota 4x4 truck and it runs GREAT. Very happy w Tandem and I highly recommend them.

I worked with Jonathan to facilitate brake upgrade for my 2013 Sequoia. Everything about our interactions has been ON POINT and I am happy with the service and the products. I have used Tandem in the past. Service was slow then, but at least it was communicated. I requested a Transfer case rebuild on August 23rd. It is Sept 5th, and LAEL just replied if I wanted to order the rebuild kit. You cannot leave a message; everything has to be done via text. Just giving a heads up to new customers. IT TAKES JUST SECONDS TO GIVE SOMEONE AN UPDATE.

Pablo and the guys at Tandem are fantastic! They are the only ones I trust to take care of my Toyota needs. They give you expert advice and information before you have the work done and let you know of any recommendations they may have before any new charges. Highly recommend!

Let another man touch my vehicle? Sick! Sometimes it's ok though. I like to watch.These guys know what they're doing and they're really cool. I like to do my own work but they are the only ones I trust.They brought me into the shop while it was still on the rack and showed me everything they did. Their alignment guy is a perfectionist.Edit: Ha! Their only negative reviews are where they got too busy. That's a good problem to have and a good sign.

My 4runner has been notoriously hard to align and has never been right since I lifted it. Tandem aligned it and it's like a new truck. It's never driven this good. Went to see the guys at tandem to get an alignment on my 4Runner after a lift was installed. These guys are great. Met went with Joey and Pablo. They explained everything and got the job done quickly. I will return to them for any other Toyota needs.

Long story short my Toyota had been to two other shops that couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I found Tandem online and called them the next day. They were able to get me an appointment that next week. They also were able to correctly diagnose and repair my Toyota in days compared to the three and a half months it had been at the other shops. Joey and John both went above and beyond my expectations. I definitely won't be going anywhere else. Even though I'm two hours away, I will gladly make the drive each and everytime I need to. Thank you guys so much for getting my vehicle back on the road!

Pablo and the crew installed my re-geared rear diff third member and front clamshell, ran the wiring harnesses for front and rear lockers and installed a rear diff extended breather in my third gen Tacoma. I'm a repeat customer (they did my cab-mount chop and pinch welds last year). These guys are hands-down the best off-road Toyota specialists in the metroplex. They do top-notch work and they know Toyotas. I'll never take my Tacoma anywhere else.

What an exceptional experience it was to work with Joey on having installed an aftermarket suspension on my 2021 4runner. Tandem came highly recommended and they lived up to the incredible reputation they have in customer service and pride in workmanship for Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

Pablo and Alex are some of the best guys to go to for late model Toyota 4x4 service and mods. They always get my alignment how I want it and do great work on my stuff when I can't get time or space to do it at my shop. They also take some of the load off of us over at the 4runnerhouse when we get swamped with repairs on the older 4x4 Toyotas. 10/10

I had the guys at Tandem install a Boss lift on my 2016 Tacoma this past weekend, and I couldn't be happier! From start to finish, Pablo and Alex were transparent about their process - from pricing before I brought my truck to the shop, to specifically what they needed to do and how long it would take so I could plan the rest of my day. I opted to hang out and wait while they worked, and both guys routinely stopped in the office to give me an update and see if I needed anything or had any questions. One of my biggest concerns was the alignment, because not everyone has the knowledge or tools to properly align a lifted vehicle. Not only did Pablo and Alex NAIL it, but they provided me with a hard copy of the analysis from their alignment machine to keep that showed it was perfect - you're not going to get that at one of the chains around town. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back for my next Tacoma mod!

Took my 2002 Tacoma to Tandem because a couple other shops had screwed up the suspension. Pablo was awesome to work with and super knowledgeable! The pricing was fair and he did an awesome job. I don't think my truck has ever driven better. Definitely taking my truck back there for future work.

Dropped off my 2016 Tacoma for a Long Travel setup. Not only did they answer all my questions they took care of everything. Worked with every vendor, did the install fast but also checked everything. I knew what brands I liked and a general idea of what I wanted the truck to be able to do, they didn't push products on me and now I have a setup that I like and that allows for future add ons without having to redo what I have now. Called and contacted multiple shops before having this done if you have a Toyota do not take it anywhere else these guys are the best in the business

Excellent work and great value from a top team. Along with honesty, integrity and excellence in service, I fully recommend Tandem Automotive for any service you want done to your Toyota!! I own a Land Cruiser, and many shops shy away from doing custom work on it. Not Tandem Automotive. They will tackle any project you throw at them.

No better place to take your Toyota to have work done to it! They know their stuff better than anyone and they are true enthusiasts with fair prices! If I was closer to them, I would come here way more often to have work done, but I am not. If you need anything from lifts, gears, armor, and more. Go to Tandem!

If you own a Toyota 4x4 you owe it to yourself to see these guys they go above an beyond in costumer service an definitely take pride in their work and I couldn t be happier with my 4runner thanks to Pablo, Alex an Mike well be back in the future to have more work done thank y all so much !!!

These guys do great work. They have welded on rock sliders, panhard correction kit, and bumper plates on my frame horns. They've installed a 7th injector in my 3rd gen 4runnersupercharger, and a 4 wheel alignment. All of the work done so far is high quality, I'll go back.

Pablo, Brandon, and Alex are serious Toyota Whisperers. I come in from Dallas because they're the only ones who have the smarts and patience to take proper care of my right hand drive Hilux Surf diesel. I almost hope something goes wrong soon just so I can bring it back; they're great guys - the best in the business, fair, and honest.

Pablo is a fantastic mechanic!He knows his Toyotas.I'll be back to have him work on my FJ Cruiser.Edit:I've brought my FJ back multiple times now.Custom modifications including Skid Plates, LED 50 inch Light bar wired up and today some routine maintenance before I take my baby out west to the desert.They've got a nice selection of Toytec Boss suspension kits to choose from for your offroading needs.Not only do they work on off road rigs, they wheel them too, so they know what works!

Did a good job on my engine swap. When I had them chase down a wire problem, was charged 280.00 to clean a connector and it was not the issue, had to fix it myself. After reaching out to discuss, they would not return my phone calls or text messages.

They lifted my hundred series. Gave me all the relevant info I needed to know to correctly take care of my Cruiser. Their new shop is enormous and well equipped to take care of any project you could throw at them. They didn t over sell me on anything and they re enthusiasts, just like me, only they know what they re doing. My thanks to Pablo, Tom and Branden.

I agree with Chad. I needed a headlight bulb replacement. I knew it was fairly simple, but he recommended to me the TCU alumni owned O'Reilly Parts who did almost like he said - install it right there at their store. As it were, the assistant manager at O'Reilly's followed me out to the vehicle and gave easy but explicit directions . . . so I would recommend Pablo for what Chad said (and I plan to come back for more serious matters) and I told my wife if I die before her, go to O'Reilly's for small stuff - their service is excellent.

I brought my 07 FJ cruiser here to have multiple issues fixed and they did an amazing job. Sold the FJ now i have a Tacoma, came back to get a BMC and once again knocked it out of the park with aweosme service. Currently in the market for a GX and guess who im taking it to for a prepurchase inspection? You guessed right, TANDEM AUTOMOTIVE!

It's hard to find an honest mechanic these days, but Pablo (the owner and master mechanic) is one of the few. He's very straight forward and won't bullshit you and try to run up some crazy bill for something like replacing brake pads. Pablo will usually personally show you what's wrong with a part, why, and how it'll be fixed or replaced. The guys there know their way around pretty much everything from trucks or grocery-getters to nasty twin turbo Corvettes and road race prepped Miatas. I've seen a little bit of everything there.The shop is very small and personable and no one talks down to you like you're an idiot like a lot of other shops do. I've had a great experience with Tandem Auto so far and will continue to do business with Pablo as long as I keep breaking cars.
