We have used Hammer Automotive in the past and have referred many people to this business. After today, that is changing. We called to make an appt 2 weeks ago. Dropped the car off this morning as scheduled and was told he could only look at it today and any work that would need to be done would be another 2 weeks. When my husband called to check the status of the car, he said I am not going to look at it for 2 weeks. So we sent my daughter to pick it up since it would be another 2 weeks and was told we lost our place in line and that he does not call people back when he has time. I left our positive review as we did have great service in the past, but when we call ahead and make an appointment and we understand that business is good, we don't expect to be treated like this, he could have very easily called us and asked for us to reschedule.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These are great people very nice to work with. Very fair pricing. I replaced the ac compressor Myself And brought it hereTo get the ac system vacuumed And Recharged. AC works great. Thank you guys.

I m from Houston and had been told a sound I was hearing was alternator bearings. I had been quoted by a couple of places in Houston but was headed to Hallettsville for holidays. Called Hammer Automotive, they look at car, told me what it was, put in the part I had and I was complete in less than 3 hours. Also, the amount was far less than I had been quoted in Houston and the gentleman was super nice. Thank you!

Mr. Hammer was really nice. I got to watch what he was doing and he did really great work. Great hourly rate for work, lowest I've seen in years. I will not go anywhere else.

Mike hammer the owner of the business is the most knowledgeable mechanic you can find and the most honest I've ever encountered so do yourself a favor get your stuff worked on at mike's auto shop.
