We had an emergency tire replacement. I'm disabled and we also had our small dog in the van. The service techs went over and above making sure we got a new tire and could stay in the van during installation. Thank you so much,!

I came here at 8 AM, there was no other cars in line infront of me. The attendants are very slow, hanging out with each other and chatting, not working and being productive. It is 9 AM and I am still to get my oil changed after one hour.

Horrible customer service also took over an hour for a simple oil change as they all complained about having to do it. Just save your time and go somewhere else.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

I didn't have time to change my own oil. I didn't realize that Walmart used the "core" style on their oil changes. These filters provide minimal protection for your vehicle and a great cost saving for the buisness. I have attached a picture of the filter designed for the vehicle looks like compared to the filter used for Wal-Mart. The "core" filter has about half the filtering capacity of the recommended filter. Without the filtering capacity, the oil flows through the bypass valve in the filter and the dirty oil circulates through the engine. This can greatly reduce the life of an engine. These filters are very short but match the diameter and the threads of the recommended filters on multiple vehicles and are used for cost saving and simplicity of service, benefiting the buisness while costing the customer in the long run.

We don t get off work until 5pm and we work in Rockwall called ahead and they said they had the tires and could get to us as long as we got there before 6:30. It was 6:08 when we arrived and was told by the guy in the shop they were no longer doing tires. I informed him we called ahead and was told they could. He said I don t know who you talked to but they were wrong So we went inside and the people behind the counter were very nice and helpful. David was very kind and helpful and his customer service was excellent. He saved this from being a bad review.Service: Auto tire replacement

This is the most unorganized automotive care. I needed one front tire. They pulled my truck in immediately. Then I waited 2 hours while they took care of all oil changes that came in during that time. I finally asked a technician about it. He ignored me until I stood up & waved in his face. Said he was doing my truck next. Then he went out & worked oil changes for 20 minutes. He was very rude.Service: Tires

The staff is nice and is very helpful but the technician who replaced my tires was beyond slow! I got there and it was started about 6:30 and I didn't leave until 8:15. I think that's a little excessive for a tire replacement. I would go back though because like I said their staff is very nice and helpful and I think this guy was just having a hard time and with it being the end of the day it didn't seem like there was anybody else willing to help him.

Despite the fact that I had to wait 30 minutes just to get my tires aired up, at least the older gentleman that finally acknowledged me was polite and didn t seem to mind.

Don't do it unless you have a day to waste. Took two hours to get a tire plugged and we weren't the only unhappy customers. I can't tell if they're understaffed or under motivated or both. I dont know how they stay in business. One fellow had been there two hours for an oil change.

I didn't heed the reviews, but I totally should have. What everyone says is true. The service is very poor and makes me question the competence of the mechanics. I called one day and was quoted a price for 2 tires. I called a couple of days later before I came in to confirm the price once more and the employee told me something completely different from the original person I spoke to. I came to find out that they didn't even have tires in my size (something the original employee had failed to mention!) I had to make a last minute appointment somewhere else because I was in desperate need of these tires. Good thing i didn't have to rely on Walmart or i may have not been able to travel to my destinations for a few days. Go to The Tire Store Service Center on Wesley St. They did a fantastic job and are very knowledgable in their trade. Not to mention, they're cheaper than Walmart.

I went to get my battery replaced. I was told that if I bought my battery at Walmart that there would be no installation charge, that if I let them keep my old battery they would subtract that from the cost of the new battery, and that my wait would only be 30 minutes. I was also told my battery would only be about $90. Two and a half hours later, they finish my car and I see the bill. The battery itself was $119.76 (not the $90 I was told). They charged a $3 installation fee, which isn't bad at all aside from the fact that I was told there was no fee. Also, the money they said they would take off the price of my new battery for giving them my old one wasn't the case either. They had a "core charge" added to my receipt that they took off for me by letting them keep my battery. In other words, there was absolutely no discount for letting them keep my old battery and they were going to charge me if I didn't give them my old battery. When I brought all of this up to the manager while I checked out, I was told that I shouldnt have asked that specific mechanic anything because he was new and that there was nothing they could do about me being lied to about every aspect of the battery change. According to the manager, it was my fault for not knowing that the mechanic who helped me was new. I would not recommend going to this Walmart Auto Care Center.

When I asked for help with a battery the man working the service area acted as if I were a nuisance. He checked my battery and told me it was fine but I told him I wanted a new one anyway and he acted as if I was getting on his nerves. It was no how are you today, how may I help you, thank you for stopping by etc.. just because you don't like your job or you're having a bad day is no reason to not be kind to others.

Same as any Walmart lube center. Super slow to do a basic oil change. Be prepared to wait for hours if you do come here. Be prepared for possible damage to your vehicle from untrained techs they hire just to fill a spot. Even if they have zero experience.

Utterly terrible. Please don't go here for an oil change. I went here for an oil change and when I was ready to pay and go, my truck wouldn't even start. Turned out it wouldn't start because they had ripped apart my already frail positive battery connector and said I needed it replaced. I didn't ask them to even touch the battery at all, so why they monkeyed with the connector I asked. Then they made me buy a new connector. I at least got them to put it on for me. It was Labor Day and all the good places I normally go for oil changes were closed. I was in a hurry, leaving town to visit family. My fault it was, for waiting until a holiday to get my oil change. I thought automotive service people who did business this way went out in the seventies! Wow.

Came in final minutes before closing as my car needed a battery change quick as we were on a road trip and just staying one night in the area. Clarance "Skip" offered quick friendly service to get the battery replaced.

I've been disappointed pretty much every time I've brought my car here, so I've stopped doing it. The service is almost always slow and I brought a flat tire with a slow leak here TWICE (same one) and they were unable to find the hole to patch either time. I was so frustrated, I ended up buying a patch kit and doing it myself. If you need something you can't do yourself, take it somewhere else.

I came here to get a battery replacement. I waited for nearly two hours for the mechanic to assist me. It would've been less, had he actually assisted the customers in the order in which they arrived. He finally got around to testing my battery, after I've waited for about 30 minutes. During the process he calls one of the other mechanics over, and asks him, "hey, do we turn the engine off when we test or keep it running?" He was completely clueless on what he was doing. That was a red flag right there. After he tested the battery, I sat there waiting, only to have him say "I'll write you up next", and then go service the cars behind me. He did this at least three times. Not sure where he learned to do business like that, but either way, I strongly suggest that Walmart trains its employees better before putting them out on the job. Anyway, he finally asked me what battery I want. When I asked him for the price ranges, he went back inside to check. Had to wait another 15 minutes. He came back, with this answer, "I think it's like $60 or $70 or something"? You think? This isn't a game of guess the number. Please give me exact answers. Fast forward a bit, he finally gets the battery put in the vehicle, I pay, and leave the store. I decided to pop the hood before driving home, just to check how the new battery looks, and it's a good thing I did. Turns out this so-called "mechanic" left all of his tools laying on my engine block after he completed the job. So, he finished working, closed my hood, backed the car up with the tools on the motor, and just left it there. I walked back inside to find the "mechanic", handed him the tools, and said, "you could've caused a lot of damage to my vehicle, you know?" to which he whimsically responded, "Oh my God! You're my hero!" Don't take your car here! Who knows what other kinds of details they overlook when they work on cars? Do you want to risk it, and have your vehicle seriously damaged? I doubt it! I will never be conducting business with this organization again. What a waste of my time and money. Completely clueless, and incompetent employees. This man couldn't even figure out how to put a spare tire back into the spare compartment of an old Dodge Caravan, which was brought in by a customer before me. So, stay away from this place, and take your business elsewhere. This small town Walmart is a joke.

Horrible experience. Check in person super nice. Get sucked in. Then they don't care about you after you check in. Staff ignores you and acts like an inconvenience when you ask for status after waiting two hours. The technicians say they are really busy but don't see them working on vehicles. Walking around plugging in phone chargers Greenville doesn't have a lot of options or I wouldn't have gone to Walmart auto in first place. But closest wasn't worth it. Never again.

The person behind the desk (Nancy) was rude as hell. She has no customer service skills or cares. I don't care if you are not having a good day you NEVER take it out on the customers. She was rude on the phone to a customer and whilst that was not my personal experience with this call. Also the process to get your car in is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. You have to wait for the mechanic to happen to see you you can't go to the desk and start the process. Every other walmart I have been to in the nation has not been this mucked up. I am going to go to my mechanic from now on and pay the extra money for better customer service and be able to be treated like a human being.... I know they don't care if they lose a customer but they can seriously kma.

This place sucks. The staff was rude not to mention they didnt wanna sell me tires. I go to one walmart and since they didnt have all 4 tires they referred me to this location. I get there and the manager tells me that he can't sell the tires for what i paid at the other one. He tried to tell me that tire was discontinued. When i start doing research and discover that its not, i went back to get the tires. The manager then tried to tell me that its a different style so when i ask him to show me the tire he himself said its the same tire. Horrible experience and ill never go back to this place. If i could put zero stars i would but i guess i have to settle for 1. All because of the manager....
