Extremely efficient and customer friendly. Affordable repair service, makes me wonder why I ever went to a dealership for non-warranty repairs and service. Vehicle was ready on time and amount for repairs was the same as quoted. Great business and awesome staff, I would highly recommend to anyone!

I ve used family tire a few times now and every time has been a good experience. This time was exceptional because of Gary. He has a warm and friendly personality that makes you feel taken care of. I went in to have my break light fixed and it needed to be ordered. Without me asking he surprised me the next morning with the news that he had it overnighted so that I wouldn t need to go another day with the chance of getting pulled over. I really appreciated that. I ve had them put on new tires for me as well as had some preventive maintenance done and they always give me a fair quote and honest opinions to as to whats imperative and what can wait. Highly recommend:)

this past monday I had a car emergency around 2pmish and every mechanic shop I was calling in the area kept denying me service saying it was too late in the day and they already had too many cars lined up to see for the rest of the day. When I called Family Tire and Automotive Service and explained my urgent situation they immediately took me in and were able to fix my situation the very next day! I appreciate this place so much and recommend it 100%. the front desk and mechanic's were all so kind to me.

I received some of the best customer service at Family Tire. They went the extra mile by taking my flat and driving to my house to instal it so I could then drive there to have the other 3 put on, all while not charging anything extra (which they could have done). Their prices quoted hundreds of dollars below the competition in the area and their service was outstanding. I highly recommend getting your vehicle serviced there!

My AC was not cooling if temps were in the 80 s or higher (summer in Texas!). The car was also loud and felt rough. I worked with Richard and Gary Don. I asked them to see what needed to be done with a/c, and to look at other issues needing work, to prioritize those needs, and to call me with prices. I also let them know I need the car to be highway safe/ready. I received calls giving me info of the needs of the car, prioritized the importance, and cost/ approximations ( for repairs I will do later).I was happy with the results I received with the work done on the car and with knowledge of what to be planning to address. The information all seemed accurate with what I was experiencing with the car.I was extremely happy with the fact that I felt Richard and Gary Don listened to my concerns, got back to me with information requested and treated me very respectfully as a customer.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

I was in town from Tulsa for a convention, had a tire issue, and being too lazy to change it myself, went to see Family Tire and Auto. They provided great service while my daughter and about a block away and had lunch.

I would highly recommend Family Tire and Automotive to take your vehicle to them. They do great work and you can definitely trust what they tell you. Gary Don is awesome, he walks you through everything they are going to do so you can understand it. Towed car to the shop. Car had stopped ignition. Had to run diagnostics. Wasn't given heads up that diagnostics will cost me such high price. For few minutes of diagnostics. (Not disclosing price but if you are buyer, please ask beforehand. ) other places, if they charge diagnostics fee, and if repairs are done there, then diagnostics fee gets waived. Was surprised that few was extra on top of the repairs. Issue was bad alternator. Installing battery is almost 50 bucks for screwing/ unscrewing couple of bolts.Services and quality might be good. I didn't have any other experience so can't say that.Overall, I would say the prices are quite high compared to my other repair shop experiences.Services: Auto battery replacement, Auto engine diagnostic

Family Tire and Automotive Service SAVED the day for me today! I was in Grapevine for a meeting, and my power steering went out as I rolled in to town. The shop was recommended to me by another shop, that alone says a lot, and they were willing to diagnose immediately. They identified that I needed a power steering pump and switch, got the parts in and completed replacement all within the same day. And for a great price. Zach, Ruben, and Houston are true professionals and great to work with. Howard has taken care of us for years. I trust him to not only diagnose and repair with great skill, but to tell me the truth and give me the best deal he can. He s honest and communicates timely. I didn t realize I had a problem with one of my tires until I saw my car check light letting me know. I had an issue with my front right tire when I got out and looked at it. It was almost completely flat I rushed to the 7/11 to get some air into my tire. Then I saw family tires so I pulled in and I noticed that they had already closed but I noticed in the back that they had one of their garage doors open. I drove back there and Zach came out and asked me how can I help you. Anyway, I said, I need to get a tire, and at that time he didn t have a tire for me, but they were so kind. They changed my tire out and put my donut on for me. And there was no complaining from them. They were very happy to help me. I will definitely recommend family tires to everyone. And I m even going now to go back to get an oil change From them.

I needed a new alternator, Howard helped me out with finding a new alternator and battery for a lot less and installed them for me at no charge. Even when the car still wouldn t start, he kept working on it till he found the problem. He saved me so much money! Got me up and running in less than 24 hrs. Thank you Howard!

They saved us over 1k when Firestone misdiagnosed our tire situation and putting our lives at risk. Thank you guys for being honest! Praying God multiply your work but give yal the love and energy to do it without getting tired .

Had problems with my suspension on the front of my truck. Brad the service manager there got my truck back on the road fast an for a fair price. They were Honest about my problems and told me things that I need to have done now an then when I had the chance to come back. when I was ready for the rest to be completed they would take care of me an my truck. I will definitely be using this company for my truck repairs in the future. Thanks Brad!

Brought our older Toyota Tacoma in for repairs. We called ahead and easily got an appointment that accommodated us. The work was quick, pricing was fair, communication was great, and Zach was very informal and helpful at check out.

My very high mileage minivan abruptly began having a serious issue and eventually the check engine light came on. I took it to Family Tire and Service and was greeted by Howard who carefully listened to my concern. A couple of hours later Howard called with a very reasonable estimate for the work I needed. I was able to pick up my vehicle the next morning and it runs better than it has in years! I am very glad I have found a good, honest place to have my vehicles serviced and will continue to be a customer from now on.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Just got off the phone with them. Basic oil change is double the price of every other mechanic I ve talked to. $140 for a Hyundai. They justify it by saying that it s a package deal that comes with a tire inspection and multi-point inspection (basically they take 30 extra seconds to look at my car). Rude guy on the phone. Take your car somewhere else.
