Dave and the entire team are amazing! I took my car in on Friday right before the closed and they called me on Saturday to update me about my car. Dave was very honest with me about my situation with my car (which I appreciate!). I got my car back on Monday and Dave called me on Tuesday to make sure my car was still running fine. I go to DBU so this is the closest shop to me and I'm glad this is the closest to me! I definitely recommend Midas!

Outstanding customer service. The lady at the front desk is kind and extremely professional. She even asked if her cleaning of the waiting room would disturb myself. The mechanics in the shop know their way around a car the correct way. Very detail oriented. (Coming from a fellow gear head) Small details and actions like these is what can set a business apart from others. I have had some bad experiences with Midas in the past. (In different locations.) Today, this has showed me the pride invested in this location is echelons above other locations in the area. I will be back!

I went in to get an oil change and a tire rotation and the employees there very pleasant. Even as some other customers yelled at them they remained calm and continued to offer great deals/discounts. Very friendly and hardworking people, very lovely and memorable people.

It s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic now a days. My father and I have been going here for thePast six years and never had a problem nothing but good experience. In fact, they have saved me money several times when they didn t have to mention it but they did. We are loyal customers from here on out. Rania Is always super helpful and on top of everything I really trust them with our cars and very pleased customers.

Excellent customer service and professionalism unmatched.Had my front disc breaks and rotors replaced within less than an hour.This business does right by its customers and takes your vehicle servicing seriously. I left with peace of mind. I have had no problems with my front disc breaks and rotors since my last appointment.

Talked with the mgr.Dave the evening before because I never received an acknowledgement on my on line application. He said it would be first come first serve on Saturday morning and I was there at 8:30 to make sure I got my 9:00 appt. Dave showed up at 8:45 and let me in while he opened up nice trusting guy !! But obviously he did not know about the 24.99 oil change special with tire rotation. Hooray for smart phones to back up the consumer. He made it right and treated me real great on the price to fix my Flowmaster bracket that another place had said it would all need to be replaced and he did it for 25.00. Will go there again and deal with Dave and the tech that worked on my black mustang sorry I forgot his name

I've been going to the guy running this place, Steve Dobbs, for five years or so now. He always does the job right the first time, charges less than any other mechanic I've been to, and never tries to sell me on work I don't need. I just had some front end work done there today, and am happy with the results. I drive over 20 miles to get my cars worked on here, and it's well worth it. It's hard to find a good mechanic like this.

I took my car here about a month ago for an oil change and the customer service was outstanding. The tech was very detailed about another issue I was having with my car and he said he would call me back with an estimate. And he did just that. Iam very pleased. As a woman I don't feel like I was taken advantage of. I will be going back.

Went to this shop because I had a coupon for a 24.99 oil change and tire rotation that said shop was under new management. I was extremely pleased with the customer service. Did a thorough inspection of my vehicle, performed oil change and rotated my tires. I ended up changing the cabin filter for around $20.00 and it was disgusting. I have had my car for nearly 2 years and no other shop had even informed me that my car had a cabin filter. On top of the great service the day I was at the shop, the next day I got a follow up call from Brian to ensure I was happy with my experience. This is my new shop. Great customer service!!

This place has a small, family-like atmosphere and feel. They're very hands-on. If you're used to the giant, fast, and expensive Service Centers that get you in & out, then this is not the place for you. But if you don't want to be taken advantaged of, over-charged, hustled, or set up to be someone's "job-security", then this is the place for you.The customer service and personable touch outweighs everything. And the mechanic is someone you can actually call, "my mechanic". And even he is personable and hands-on.Finally! I found a shop that has a conscience and that I can trust! And that's all it takes for me to be a loyal customer.

I have been to many Auto Mechanics, but by far this place exceed my expectations. David and his technicians are amazing. I came in asking that my brake pads and rotors needed changing, and they did quickly. No extra charges that was unnecessary, and David even gave me the store discount for break pad changes. I would recommend this place to anyone. The owner and workers are honest, and it's hard to find honest mechanics. Good job David and the crew

I made an appointment for 8:00 AM this morning.I waited in the parking lot until 8:45, and it stayed closed. I left two messages. I received no call back.Once I posted the 1 star rating, without a review, I got an immediate text asking why I left the 1 star.I am updating the review to advise.I took my business elsewhere today.

First time here and the service was INCREDIBLE!!! Not only were they fast, but we have never been treated better at any auto repair shop. The shop is owned by a very polite, sweet couple who had their young twin daughters at the shop with them. They made you feel like family and were very attentive to everyone. Highly recomend!!!!

After the traumatic experience from the place next door (see review on Kwik Lube) my husband came over here and received wonderful service. The owner came out from the back and seemed to be on lunch break since he was eating pizza, but was still very nice, attentive, and got my husband s truck serviced right away despite that. We will be coming here from now on.

I lived in Grand Prairie for 23 years and have always trusted my vehicle to the Midas on E Pioneer Pkwy. I check the estimates they give me to at least one other shop and they are either the same or cheaper every time.They always let me know how much time they need so I don't get stuck in the waiting area. The young couple that have recently taken over the business are doing a great job. I've always used Midas and it's great to see young owners trying to give the customer the best deal possible but also being fair because car's don't fix themselves for free. lol For whoever you usually use, let Midas give you a quote and I'm sure you'll be taken care of.

I was flat out ignored upon arrival and doors were shut on me without any acknowledgement or explanation. They were not closed yet, and even if they were no longer accepting new customers since it was approximately a half hour til closing, the guy who shut me out could have said something, as he looked straight at me. After beeping and making me move out of the way for another vehicle to go inside, the doors were rudely pulled down, all while looking at me dead in the eye. I ve never experienced anything like it. I went next door to Kwik Lube instead, they were WAY more welcoming. If I could give less than 1 star for this place, I would.

Was passing through town during a time sensitive road trip when my vehicle started giving me issues. Had to make an unplanned stay overnight to find a mechanic for repairs the next day. Arrived at Midas about 20 minutes before opening time and the owner walked over to greet us as soon as he unlocked the door. Invited us in for coffee and had my truck in the shop for diagnostics as soon as the mechanics arrived. A few parts had to be ordered so we spent the morning lounging around the waiting room. The staff made us feel welcome and everyone was extremely hospitable. My truck was ready shortly after noon and we were back on the road. Service like we experienced is very rare these days and I am thankful we stumbled upon this particular Midas!

I took my car to get a AC diagnostic and was told I needed the entire AC Compressor kit which cost with parts and labor about $925.00. I waited for about 2 months until I was able to get the money to fix it to find out from another shop that I needed none of what was told me to. I recently got an AC Compressor replaced last year but somehow it still wasn't blowing cold. Despite the air not blowing cool, common sense told me it cant be the compressor. When I went to a different shop, I was told I only needed refrigerant and dye. The diagnostics, refrigerant and dye only cost me $124.00!! A huge savings!! My compressor works perfectly fine and all other components. I was highly upset and felt cheated. I will never go to another Midas because of such a bad experience and would have been cheated out of over $900.00 . Please be careful and cautious when getting your cars looked at by mechanics and make sure they are doing the diagnostics properly.

I'm torn about this place. While i've had a great experience before with an oil change, my most recent experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I brought my truck here as it stopped on me and had a flashing check engine light. It was there for 2 days because the lead mechanic did not show up for work. Once they diagnosed they said I needed a whole new engine?! I thought no way this can't be true. Midas quoted me 6.5k to replace engine. My truck is a 2016 Ram with 62k miles. I was 2k miles out of warranty so I called Chrysler and they told me to tow it to a dealer and they will diagnose and see if anything can be done about me being out of warranty. Well turns out my truck did NOT need a new engine but it had a broken valve spring which was causing the knocking. Part was replaced and my truck is good as new. Owners are very nice and professional but I am so glad I got a 2nd opinion.EDIT:Rahul the owner ended up reaching out to me and we discussed the issue in further detail. I understand his perspective and he understands mine. The customer service that he provided is exceptional and he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. All in all I am completely satisfied with Rahul and the staff at Midas.

The owners and technicians provided a very pleasant experience for an aggravating automotive situation -- manual transmission-related issues.They were completely upfront about the work required to bring my vehicle back into service. They even sent pictures via text messaging displaying the condition of the affected parts throughout the process. The chief technician took the time to show me the damaged mechanism and its operation. Although there was more required work than initially expected, the total price (including veteran's discount) for the service/parts provided definitely beats what would've been the cost at the dealership. In addition, I was informed by the chief technician of a needed service that I could perform myself allowing me to save more money.Overall, should my ride ever need to have major repairs done again, the Midas of Grand Prairie would be my go-to place.

Came in for a total brake overhaul on my 2014 Ford Escape. I found David and his crew to be extremely professional and very thorough with their work. Price was fair and car stops way better.

I ve been coming to this location for oil changes since I have moved to Dallas. Owners and employees are always honest and make an effort to help you out in anyway they can. Also, they are very intensional to make a relationship with their customers. Dealing with car issues is not always fun. But I can always count on this location to help me. I highly recommended this location especially for DBU students.

I go to midas in Michigan and i moved here in the grand pairie area and lucky i found a midas and had a chance to meet the owners which nevered happened in Michigan, i didn't have no money at all and needed over $1700 dollars in work done to get my truck back on the road, midas has an easy pay options which i was approved for the amount needed inorder to get the job done, and they offer easy and affordable payments with no credit check!! It was a life saver! The owner even worked with me and saved me some money by not charging me for certain snags that happened, i highly recommend this place of business, me and my soon to be wife are taking our vehicles there for every future service we need! Thanks for the warm welcome they offered.

I am a student at Dallas Baptist University. I just recently bought my 1st car over the summer. This was a very exciting time for me as I had been waiting for this moment for quite a long time. I bought my car used, it is a 2006 Toyota RAV4, so I took it into the Midas here at Grand Prairie to ensure everything was up to date and running well on the car, as well as to find out what steps need to be taken to repair wear and tear from the cars age.From the very beginning Rahul and Raina were both so kind and patient with all of my questions, and were incredibly thorough with their explanation of what steps needed to be taken for repairs and preventative maintenance on my RAV. Their direction was very comforting and really helped me better understand how a car works and runs from more than just gas as I had previously believed.The crew completely updated my suspension and brakes system, as well as replaced my old and very dirty headlights, and other various other things I do not know how to explain in detail haha.From the mechanics to the owners this location is incredible and so willing to work with you, and go through great lengths to ensure you are pleased with their service. I am very pleased with the work that has been done on my first car I have ever owned.Come to Midas in Grand Prairie for all your auto needs, outstanding mechanical service, as well as customer service.

****Steve is not the owner any longer. New Owners beginning October 2018****First, I was told to come to their location because they were knowledgeable but when I arrived, the new owner had to GOOGLE my truck issues. Then I was told by the Midas owner that my truck does not have spark plug wires so when I paid $400.00+ for an oil change and tune up, the wires were not changed. I read my owners manual, worked with a mechanic and called Autozone just to find out that my truck HAS spark plug wires. I called the location and the owner continued to state that my 1500 GMC doesn't have wires.� I had one of the wires my hand as he was telling me this. Also, I HAVE A YUKON DENALI THAT HAS WIRES!!! I am very disappointed with the horrible service I received at this location.� The people there are incompetent. While the competent mechanic looked over my vehicle, he showed me that to change my spark plugs, you have to disconnect the wires from the coil pack! So he removed one of the imaginary wires to show me. As he pulled out the wires, 3 of 8 wires were barely reattched. They were just laying there. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Any shade tree mechanic can change your oil or your brakes. These folks are not experts!

Update: 2/3/2022I contacted the corporate headquarters multiple times like they asked me , and never heard back from them. Beware of this franchise and their shady business tactics. They will rip you off , like i got ripped off thousands of dollars.Beware of this Midas location, I was scammed out of thousands of dollars. Till this day i am owed thousands of dollars. Shady business ethics. Beware of the owner Rahul Faruqi. I ve been try to get ahold of him , he apparently just disappeared. Beware of doing any business here. If anyone needs to get ahold, you have my contact info.

I requested an oil change appointment online and was supposed to receive a response within 30 minutes. Never received one. So I called two days later to confirm and was immediately put on hold. I sat there on hold for 14 minutes before they just hung up on me. Not sure if this is due to the new owners, but this type of thing used to never happen.
