They have had my jeep since June 12 2023. Was told it would be ready by July 4 2023. I still can't get an answer as to what is going on with the vehicle. Would not recommend due to feeling like they have stolen my vehicle. They have had it for four months without an update. This was typed November 10 2023, will update as things move forward. Update, finally got a call from them stating that the vehicle is not worth the repairs and I have a week to get it picked up after they kept it for five months with no progress. They told me that the first month the guy who was going to work on it was vacation, second month was sick, third month he quit. So don't waist your time.

Freedom Transmission is the best auto repair shop in the metroplex! This is the only place I go because I TRUST them. They diagnose what the problem is and show and explain to you what needs to be repaired. Their prices are very competitive and they give the best warranty on transmissions. My car was having injector code errors. The dealer was booked 2 weeks out with scheduling an appointment. The crew at Freedom fixed my injector wires in 30 minutes and at a low cost!

We took my daughter's car here for an oil leak. When we got it back, they did something that caused everything under the hood to be coated in oil and antifreeze, which caused an electrical malfunction. We took it back to them almost 3 months ago and have had 3 people calling so my daughter can get her car back. Still, all Al is telling us is "I think its an electrical issue". Every time we call, he says he'll call back with an update the next day and never has.Service: Auto maintenance

I have been waiting on my car to get transmission repaired and the guy at the shop keeps telling me a different excuse every time I call. I was told it was going to rake 4 to 5 business days to get it done but it's already been 3 weeks nad still not ready. Al the guy I have been talking to keeps saying that his mechanic broke a seal and then a band in the transmission and now his mechanic didn't show up. They still have my car. It's getting very frustrating because my wife had to call in a couple of times since we only have one vehicle. Will never use this shop againService: Transmission repair

My mom and I brought my mustang here because the transmission went out and on the BBB website they have an A+ rating. My mustang turned out to have a lot more issues than we thought, but they were able to fix them all within a reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend this place if you need your car serviced. The staff are friendly, and if you have more issues with your car, he will actually show you instead of just do it which I liked. (I know this review may sound to good to be true, but it's an honest review.)

I took my 2011 Ford F150 inn to get my water pump replaced since it was loose and the bolts had broken off. They honestly did a fantastic job. they didn't try to scam me and say " o you need this and you need that' on top of my water pump I needed . they even went over and beyond and changed out my Freon since he had access to it while changing out the water pump. they even called me the next day to make sure everything was running great which i thought was pretty awesome. truck it running perfect and i highly recommend this place. hopefully i wont have too but if i do i will be coming back for future repairs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Called over 20 different places to get my rotors and transmission fluid changed. This was the cheapest place. Got quoted 3 hours. Was done in 50 minutes. Car was running like new. A++++++++

Took my car for Transmission Flush at scheduled appointment. They had my car long enough to figure out the issue. Very attentive and courteous. Let me know about what he found going on with my car in full detail.

Allen is so sweet!They rebuilt my transmission with hard to find parts. Just be patient with them because it may take some time. It took 2 weeks and 3 days, for my 2008 Kia Sportage, but is running very, very good. Thanks Allen! Judy H. Of Grand Prairie.

I've been taking all my vehicles there since I first moved to the area in 2007. Greg is as honest a person as you would hope to encounter when dealing with mechanics. He doesn't BS you into unnecessary repairs and will find the cheapest solution to your problem without cutting corners on the repair job. Pricing of work is fair and they're pretty quick about getting your car fixed and returned. I've taken my truck to one other mechanic besides Greg at Freedom Transmission because the job required to fix it was outside the scope of his capabilities...and he was up front and honest about that right away. If you're looking for an auto repair service you can trust, look no further. Freedom Transmission is where you want to be. I'm T.M. Rhyno and I approve this message.

I had my car towed to this place for a quote on my transmission, so my car arrives and they tell me to repair it, it will cost 3000 to 3500 and a brand new transmission will cost 5000 so i call around to other shops and i find a better deal, now i get my car towed to another shop and this is when i find out i never had a transmission problem, i actually have an axle problem which is much cheaper so now ill pay 170 instead of paying 3000 dollars. Whats funny about this situation is the man had the nerve to ask me why am i taking my car out of their shop....I guess they thought they were dealing with a dummy p.s please trust me on this....we all need our cars!

Needed work done that most transmission shops didn't want to do, they would rather charge me to rebuild full transmission than to actually fix what need to be done. Freedom Transmission verified what needed to be done and installed the parts and transmission has been good ever since. Would go back to them again.

This is by far the best transmission shop around. The guy is a little rough around the edges, but a good guy. Reasonable prices and good work done on my transmission rebuild. Still running good.

This would been my first time here but when i called to ask for a oil change appointment i said hello and the man that answered said yea in a rude way like i was bothering him if this how they treat customers then i wouldnt trust them with my car

Not sure how they can be called fast. Had my vehicle for almost a month to put new lamps in the dash and change a water pump. Didn't replace all the lamps, had to take it back.

Good trustworthy people and the best mechanic's fix several transmissions for my family and when no one could figure it out Greg and his team figured it out and even today we thought was the transmission in another car and turns out just the alternator Thanks for being there for our community God bless you and all your workers

They said they knew how to take a steering wheel off and fix my turn signal switch took it down there they didn't have the right tools they couldn't do it they lied to me wasting my time
