My transmission went out suddenly and I was far from home. I live in Allen but travel for my job and was leaving Grand Prairie when it happened. I found Armando s on Google and Omar was very friendly and helpful. He even referred me to a tow service. My transmission had to be rebuilt. Omar had to order some parts from the dealership which delayed the repair but he kept me updated and gave me a small discount. My car is running great now. Omar did a great job and was very pleasant throughout the experience. I am glad to be back on the road thanks to Armando s Transmission

Take your vehicle anywhere but this place. OMAR totalled my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in May 2023 while he said he was test driving it. Refused to tell us where it happened at and refused to give us his insurance info. He's avoiding contact with our insurance co. This business should be shut down. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ARMANDO'S TRANSMISSION!!

Called for quote and Omar gave me a reasonable estimate so I agreed to bring my car. Repair took less than half a day and the final price was less than the original quote. Didn't meet Armando but if he is a good as Omar, I will ALWAYS recommend them. Very pleased with the completed job.

Omar is charming and professional and he diagnosed the needed repairs quickly. The repairs were completed before noon the following day, and the price was very reasonable. We will most definitely seek him out again if we have transmission issues, and we will enthusiastically refer him to family, friends and colleagues.

Had a great experience at this shop. It's been over seven months and my Chevy suburban it's still running like it was the day I came to picked it up. Price , value and service simply the best. Thank you Omar for such a wonderful job.

Don t believe all the good reviews. Worst experience I ve had with a mechanic. Both my brother and myself had this shop work on our trucks. We have both only had constant issues since getting them back. My truck now has a vibration that it didn t have before he worked on it. My brothers truck was missing a bolt on his starter. I took my truck back to him to look into the vibration. He basically said he had no clue what was causing it. I paid $170 to a dealership to tell me it was the new torque converter this shop had installed. I reached back out to the shop and told them. The response was I can t fit you for almost two weeks. On top of that he wouldn t order a new converter until he got my truck. I ended up having to go somewhere else to get my truck fixed. As a single parent this was extremely hard on me financially. I am currently consulting an attorney about taking this to small claims court.

We had to bring our 03 civic back 3 times, it kept breaking down because of their bad service. The first time we got it back chunks of seat were missing, the second time they didn't bolt in the engine air intake they left it hanging off barely hanging on. The third time they didn't wanna pay for towing even tho it was their fault the car broke down in the first place. They didn't even wanna give us our money back and insisted it was our problem after we paid almost $1500. Although Omar was helpful but the business idk.

Amazing experience when other companys tryed to charge me rediculs prices and replace transmission armondo was honest fixed what the ACTUAL problem was and payed under $500 ! And got car back in less then 2day very honest and reliable no one will be his prices would recomend to anyone
