This is the only place I will take one of the vehicles to be looked at and worked on. I had to get all 4 rotors and breaks replaced on my truck, and they were more than fair on their price, and I had my truck back in a quick time frame. Definitely a trustworthy in honest shop. Special thanks to Tyler for all the assistance.

Love these guys. They're fair, quick, and they explain what needs to be done and what can wait a bit so I can budget. They've worked on my Jeep Wrangler and Nissan Frontier.

Call on a Thursday asking to bring my older car (we discussed year/make/model etc) in for an AC replacement. I let them know that I had the parts and would like to try to use them first. They didn't have anything available until Tuesday, which was fine, So I brought it in Tuesday late morning. The guy was pretty short with me dropping it off and I don't even know if he really paid attention when I asked if they could give me a quote on the engine light once they started working on it (emissions stuff). They called me Tuesday afternoon with a couple of questions that indicated they were getting started, but are irrelevant to this review. I saw that as a good sign that they were already getting started. I didn't hear anything back, so I followed up the next afternoon to see how progress was coming, and get the quote I had asked for on the engine light. It was then I was informed that I needed to come pick up my car because they weren't going to work on it. I had to ask why, and was told they didn't want to use the parts I had purchased (which would have been understandable if they had said that either when I had called and set the appointment, when I dropped the car off Tuesday, when they called me Tuesday afternoon, or at any point before I had to call THEM. I was not offered a quote if they bought the parts, but I asked anyways. The guy I was speaking to was quite rude and said "it would be expensive" sounded like it was the most annoying thing he ever had to do, and proceeded to give me the quote, and then recommend a different shop I could take it to. When my boyfriend picked up my car for me, he asked why they couldn't do it and the guy he spoke to was nice enough but said he didn't know, Faron just said they won't do the job. Took it to another shop the same day, they said it won't be a problem and it should be roughly a 4 hour job. Not impressed with Tankersley for wasting my time.

Always has a reason not to do vehicle inspections. Seems to be an inconvenience when you stop to ask.

I just had a major oil leak. 5qts in 10 hrs!It's a front seal and Faron said he could get it done in about a day, which is great as this is my commute car! It'shard to find an honest mechanic these days. Faron is one of those. Rates and workmanship is the best. I always take my vehicles here. Many times I can get my car the same day! Repairs are still cheaper than a new car payment and the insurance! Tell him, Robert sent you!

Very nice people. Got my truck in and fixed up with no issues. Reasonable rates. Highly recommend Faron automotive. Will do business with them again in the future.

Faron has a top notch operation. Was recommended to him by a friend and am glad I took his advice saved me 3400 over dealership cost and much quicker. Very fair. Very attentive also. Bit heard from him 2 to 3 times a day during this process. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicles there

Our suburban broke down and we had it towed to Faron's. Fast, friendly service, and even though the news was grim (new engine needed), we didn't have to pay a dime for the diagnostics. We will definitely be using this shop for future mechanical needs!

Fixed a starter in our pickup. Had it about a day. The price was very reasonable. I plan on using him again in the future. He was nice, price was way better than the chevy dealer, I feel like he's an honest mechanic....hard to find these days.

Ok so I got my car inspected there and I had one problem and that is he put in the wrong license plate # and I didn't check it before I left there so it is partially my fault. When I got to the tag office they noticed the VIN wasn't the same and I had to go all the way back and i had a lot to do that day. So wasted time and gas. Faron is super nice and the inspection was cheap so I would recommend this place to friends and family but MAKE SURE you check your paperwork so that everything is correct.

Brought my truck in and spoke with Taylor. He was super nice and professional. They had my truck back out of the shop within a few hours. Excellent business.

Had a power steering leak and figured it was the pump. Took it to them and they promptly called me and said it was just one of the two power steering hoses leaking. Quoted me $190, figured that was steep for a hose but at least it wasnt the pump, so had them do it. Dont use the truck much so i drove it some the day after i got it ack and then it sat for about 5 days. Go to hook up a trailer today and power steering grinding noise is back. Take it back to the shop, Tyler calls back and says its the other hose now. $178 quote with $117 of that being labor. Im no mathmatician but the odds that its coincidental seems highly unlikely. So i ask if he could just charge me for just the hose since ive paid the labor once and seems like they should have caught, may have caused it or least should have suggested both be replaced since they were already into it the first time. He said he couldnt so i went and got the truck and will do it myself instead of spending $400 on two hoses. Maybe i expect too much? I just know if it were me, i would have put a hose on for cost just because thats good business.Service: Steering & suspension repair

One of our work trucks broke down near Faron's shop. They helped get it to the shop, fixed in no time, and got the truck back on the road. Fast to say the least. Greatly appreciated.
