The waiting room could use some TLC and I wasn t sure it was even open when I pulled in. Someone came out to meet me however and was able to get an oil change done in good time.

I had a very good experience. I was visiting the Fossil Rim and my car broke down at the park. I took the car to this place. He could have made few 100s easily but he helped me without any charge. He relieved me from such a big stress. The owner is honest and helpful.

Always a great experience here. Staff are fast and efficient. Waiting room clean, but could use some updating. Chairs are greatly worn out, but everything clean. I highly regimens bringing your vehicle here for an oil change.

I had our Ford F150 pickup inspected today. They were able to take care of that right away. The service and courtesy were outstanding. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes so I didn't spend much time in their very clean waiting area. Thank you, Kwik Kar @ Glen Rose!

Excellent service . Unbelievably fast, honest and didn t force me to purchase unnecessary extras. Aired up my tires & fresh washer fluid! Much cheaper than anticipated too!!!

Haven't been in for several months because of a bad experience with previous owner. Gave them another chance today and was very pleasantly surprised by the new manager. Great guy and very much on the ball. I'll be back.Back to get inspection and was a good experience.Waiting area could use some new seating but all in all a pleasant visit.Much improved over a few years ago.

Took my car in for an inspection this morning and was told to come back when the weather cleared. When I came back, the guys were sitting inside watching a movie and refused to do my inspection even though the weather cleared and roads dried. Lied about not being able to do it despite no other customers being present and other shops being willing but not having availability. About a month prior I dropped my car off to have some parts replaced after confirming multiple times that they could do the work. Called me 4 hours after I dropped my car off to inform me they actually couldn t despite no other customers being present that morning either. I very rarely have a day off during the work week and do not have time to make other arrangements, and both times these guys promised to help me, didn t deliver and seemingly did not care to help me or find an alternative. This new crew appears to be inexperienced and unwilling to help their customers. Save yourself some time and come to the granbury location.Edit: also don t try calling the shop to contact anyone. The Glen Rose phone number does not work and the Facebook page has another locations number listed

This morning I took my F150 Ford pickup to the Kwik Kar in Glen Rose for an oil change. No other customers were there and they took my truck in right away. After watching 2 other customers arrive, get their oil change taken care of and leave, they told me my truck was ready. When they brought my truck around front for me, the service man noticed an object on the ground and picked it up. It was the insulation/skid plate from underneath my truck. He told me they forgot to attach it to the truck. He put my truck back in the bay to attach it. From inside the waiting room I heard what sounded like a hammer, which disturbed me so I walked to the door to look inside the bay. I didn t hear anymore hammering and they appeared to be attaching the plate to the underside of my truck.When they brought my truck back around front the service tech was on a phone call in my front seat while attempting to tab through the settings in my display ( I assumed to reset the oil change needed warning". He got out of the truck and I asked what the hammering was. He said the tech was just attaching the plate, I asked if this is normal to hammer it on, he said it wasn't a hammer it was a ratchet and that they didn t tap it hard, just getting it to go on.When I got in the truck to leave, I noticed my front passenger seat was fully reclined and a bottle of water was on the seat. I took the water to the service man and told him it looked like someone had taken a nap in my truck while I was waiting. He said no they were trying to look at the airflow in the ceiling of the truck? I was there for an oil change and they did not replace any air filters. I also told him that the sticker wasn t changed on my windshield. He took care of that.At my next stop at Tractor Supply, I noticed that he had not reset my oil change needed indicator on my display.On my way home on Hwy 67 I heard the skid plate come off. I turned around and went back to be sure and sure enough it was sitting in the middle of the highway having been run over by at least 20 cars. I admit, as a 67 year old woman I was very frightened to retrieve it because I had a very limited visibility for cars topping a rise coming my way. But I managed to get the part without getting killed.When I called the manager to express my unhappiness with the entire experience, he basically said I m sorry. Those covers frequently tear up because they are partially made of carpet. If you look at your receipt it says that we are not liable for damage to that item. I told him that I wasn t angry that it was damaged, I was angry that they knew they damaged it yet they didn t tell me and did a very shoddy attempt to put it back on rather than tell me they couldn t attach it securely, putting my life in danger when it fell off driving home.So to anyone who is reading this, the underlying message at this shop is Buyer Beware and read the damn fine print covering what we are not going to be responsible for if we break it, and nor are we responsible to tell you about it .So obviously we will NEVER go back there again. The people there were at best disinterested, at worst incompetent. We had been there a couple of times before for an oil change and apparently there s been some staff changes there including management. We wanted to keep our business as local as possible but all we ended up with was risk and uncertainty. Nuff said, back to the Ford dealer we go.Service: Oil change

I will forever be grateful for the guys who run this place. I've been here several times for oil changes and have gotten great service. Today I came in for a oil change and my car wouldn't turn over and start. The guys were very patient and made sure my car was fixed and running so I would not be stranded. Thanks to Derrick, I can finally rest easy. The mechanic at this shop is knowledgeable and motivated as heck to get his work done. He replaced a majority of my front-end suspension within just a couple of days after gathering a plan of approach that was effective AND fit my budget. Honest. That s sums it up. Manager was honest and showed me my rear differential needed to be serviced. I only stopped to get my oil changed. He talked to me about my Jeep and ask me questions as to how I use it other than my daily driver. I will definitely be back for future oil changes and any other services my Jeep may need that they provide. Thank you for your honesty.Service: Oil change
