Walmart. Oh Walmart. Every want to know what lurks in a town? Visit a Walmart in the middle of the day, or middle of the night. I m not even sure Walmart still knows they have a location in Giddings. You know how the dollar store or Marshall s or anywhere like that always looks like they re in the middle of annual inventory? This Walmart wrote the book on it. Nice people, but it feels like you re walking through a child s closet after they cleaned their room in a hurry.

Oldest WM I've ever seen. Not lots of merchandise as other locations. No deli or fresh produce or rotisserie chickens. Very 'hood evident by the frantic pace. Dicey clientele and many security people at the front door.

A lot of stuff on clearance especially toddlers boys not too bad of a Walmart no photo department though

The staff in the pharmacy are the best. Very kind and helpful. I wish the rest of the store had more groceries. But what they do have. Is always helpful.

Looks as good as many other Walmart stores. Toilet was clean. Electric carts were charged. Prices were comparable to other Walmarts.

Emploies are very rude especially the new younger ones in customer service just refuse to go unless other people are there to wait on us bad service for customers in Giddings

I haven't been in this Walmart location in a while because I felt it was unorganized and lacking what I needed. However, there has definitely been 100% improvement now. It was clean, the shelves were stocked with what I needed, and the aisles were clear and easy to navigate. I will definitely be using this location more now.

Britney is not a helpful team lead she needs to go , needed help returning a keurig that stopped working was bought a month or two ago (under the 90 day limit) had the original receipt and everything oh but since we didn t have the box and ONLY GIDDINGS walmart has a new policy that you absolutely need the original packaging to return things now. Told us to go back 70 miles where we originally bought it to get our money back . Horrible person to choose as a team lead . She also returned some customer in front of me stuff without an ID or receipt so let s just pick and choose who we can help .

Honestly, management should review their leadership position. Brittany , the lead or supervisor is clueless and as unhelpful as a rock. Goes out of her way to make things impossible so she can keep her work to a minimum.

Getting better. Just one of the cashiers seems to have a problem with me the few times I've went to her. Much better than last year when I got here for sure!

Great little store for small selections of things. But do not come here expecting to have a variety of choices. You're lucky if you find one item of the specific thing you're looking for. Great prices though! Clean store. Friendly people.

This visit is for the Giddings, Texas store.This is probably the sizevof the original Walmarts before they built Supercenters.Everything is orderly , the store is very vean.The pharmacy staff is very friendly.

This is an 1980's model Walmart with NO deli. This place renovated nicely with the electronics section. Building in great shape and restrooms were clean. Also note, no self check out either. Glad for the visit and good staff!

Went in for an oil change at 11 and there were no customers ahead of me the bays and parking lot were empty but obviously the crew was short handed and my car was started on at 1 :10 .

Very old school Walmart. Not a supermarket but refreshing to be able to walk from one end to the next in half the time. Employees were very cool and some were playful. It reminded me as a family atmosphere or family owned store in stead of a corporation owned store.

This is a small town Walmart. The prices are higher on many things. We normally shop at Bastrop Walmart items there are priced cheaper. This store needs a remodel.

Loved this small town walmart. Prices seemed lower then in Houston. Staff was friendly and store lay out was great.

Good store as long as you remember this is one of the few Walmart's that isn't a "Super". Very limited groceries. Other than that, it's a Walmart. Has everything you'd expect. Went in to get a fishing license and didn't have to wait long at all for someone to come and take care of me. Same with the electronics department.

Rude, rude, rude employees. Asked four employees where something was located. One walked right by me, two had no clue and the forth told me "I don't work here" even though she clearly had a walmart shirt on with a name badge. Complaints go in one ear and out the other. I'm driving to Brenham, Bastrop or LaGrange from now on. It's really to bad since the Giddings store is close to home.

Very small and old Walmart, so the selection of products isn't the greatest. The staff are nice and helpful. It is more organized than some other stores. I'm usually able to walk straight up to a cashier which is awesome.
