I would have given it 5 stars for service. But the cashier was a total dork I spent about 10 min trying to pay for my tire and he couldn't find his brain hidden in the shadows. Finally the a shop person told him that someone had the same phone number as mine and that he must go by phone number not by last name.Service was speedy on a Sunday about 2 hours for a tire change after 4 pm when all the tire shops were closed. Thank you guys you saved the day for the family trip.

Zero stars! I took it for an oil change and new battery (nothing was wrong with the old one just figured I would do a preventive measure). It took over two hours for this service (with appointment) and then when they gave me my car it wouldn t start or even go into gear. I ended up having to get it towed to a mechanic. Do not recommend.

Got here at 4pm, need tires and oil. Every person that has come in after me has left. Been sitting here for 2.5 hours for services that shouldn t have taken this long. My car sat in the tire bay for an hour, I finally asked how much longer and the cashier said oh 15-20 minutes. That was an hour ago.

Went in yesterday to address im leaking oil out of truck after the oil change they a few days ago. Turned out they replaced the plug and put a new gasket on at no charge! The manager Carlos or Carlo very nice gentleman, told me to let him know if still had any problems with it. I told him that I was not expecting that and very grateful for what they did. 5 stars without question!!Service: Oil change

Went in yesterday to get 2 new tires put on the Front on my truck. I had a 3:00 appointment. After checking in I went to do a little shopping in the store. Came back and noticed they were replacing my back tires. I told "Patrick " and he and the tire associate got into a heated argument. When Patrick came back inside I asked him what was going on, he said Don't worry about it. I said I am worried about it. He got angry and I got angry. He telling me several times not to worry about it. I asked for a manager; he said he was the manager.. I asked for another manager, he walked off. Later I talked to Amy "a coach " and she said she would talk to them. After another 2 hours I still did have my front tires replaced and 1 back tires was still off. Around 5:30 Patrick told me that 1 of my lug bolts needs to be replaced but they aren't going to fix it, it wasn't their fault. If they would have fixed the front tire they would have never taken the back tire off so I feel it is their fault. He argued with me I finally said just let me pay and get out of here. I will never go back. They lack of professionalism and customer curiosity is so unbelievable unacceptable.Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. I was not the only dissatisfied customer there.Service: Tires

PRO's+ Technician was prompt and friendly+ Service speed was decent+ Service itself was done correctly without issueCON's- Limited selection of quality tires (Does not carry Michelin, Yokohama in-house)- Walmart exclusive tires have mixed reviews & integrity ratings (Ex. Goodyear assurance/reliance)- If you arrive for your appointment, but your tires are not there, you are not notified prior.- Inside counter-service was inattentive at the time of pickup.- Walmart is NOT responsible for online tire orders (meaning if there is an issue with your online order, it is up to you, the customer, to fix it. Walmart will not assist you).CONCLUSIONIf you choose to purchase tires through Walmart, do it inside the store in their automotive department and have one of their auto service members place the order for you. Do not order online. Before your appointment, call the service center to confirm your tires have arrived.Would suggest Costco or Discount Tire Co. Instead of buying tires through Walmart.

I took my car here to get my new tires mounted and balanced, it took 3 hours for them to do it and when I got my back car all the rims were damaged so talked to one of the managers they said they couldn't do anything about then they said I need to come back the next day to talk to the head TLE manager. Don't waste your time here go somewhere else.

They get the job done well, but it's too long of a wait, even when I make an appointment. I made an appointment for 9 am and they didn't start on my car until 10:30.

The folks working outside said they don t do regular maintenance but only tire and battery change. But when I went inside the office, I realized they do provide other maintenance service and asked me to make a separate appointment. Not a good customer experience.

I had an appt for 4 tires and my vehicle was pulled in within 5 minutes of that time. I was told it would take approx an hour so I shopped and came back in an hour. The front tires were still off but no one appeared to be working on the vehicle. 35-40 minutes later it was still the same so I questioned what was taking so long. The tech then finished installing my tires, but it took 2 hours to put on a set of tires with an appt, because they did not complete my vehicle, but started it and then let it sit while they worked on other vehicles. I worked at Tires Plus for 5 yrs in the Midwest and therefore have knowledge that 45-60 minutes is all it takes to mount and balance 4 new tires, but it took 2 hours at Walmart, and then an add'l 10-15 minutes to stand in line to pay for the install fees. Very disappointed that my vehicle was not completed when started, doubling the time this service should have taken.

Walmart automotive department in Georgetown Texas customer service is disgusting. They let you sit in your car for 30 minutes before anybody even addresses if you're there for a tire or oil service on top of that what should be a 15 to 20 minute oil change take them about 45 minutes to an hour. Today was my third and last time trying to get my oil changed over there. Never again.

Don't go here to have your oil changed. I paid to have my girl's car oil change yesterday she had to wait 3 hours she got her car back and today it's 4th of July I have to work there's oil all over my driveway now she's stuck in another part of town with her mom who has Parkinson's disease so I have to get off work drive kind of far away go pick up more oil put it in the car and limp the car back to the house and tighten everything myself which defeats the entire purpose of taking the car there for an oil change in the first place be wary.

Satans auto department: Never in my life have I had a worse customer experience at any business. My partner and I as well as at least 20 other customers were treated with a level of disrespect that I have never witnessed in any other business. One of the employees I m particular was racist and misogynistic towards multiple customers. We waited 3.5 hours for an oils change and tire rotation. I will never be returning to any Walmart ever.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

Worst experience ever at this Auto Care center. Took almost 3 hours just to get two new tires installed. An hour and a half after they started work. The person would remove one tire and disappear for 15 minutes.Services: Tire rotations, Auto tire replacementServices: Tire rotations, Auto tire replacement

Very courteous and cordial group. I arrived late for my appt., with my Walmart tires in the back. The line was not long but they were very busy. They fit me in! My new tires feel great. I think they did an excellent job.

Had four tires put on my son's car. Got a great price but much lower than Discount tire to my surprise for the same tire. Total was $200 less. My son's key fob did not have a good battery in it and they took the initiative to replace it for me. I thought that was great! Super friendly staff at the Georgetown office. Great job.

They rounded off and evac d my oil plug one time, so their manager said they d get me a new one for free. I ve come back twice and they didn t have the part in supposedly. Every time I come, the line itself is maybe an hour and then it s another 5-6 for them to finish. At this point, I m done. I ll pay someone else to replace this piece that they damaged because it s just a ploy to keep me coming back to give horrible service.

If you want to be ignored, if you want to wait almost 4 hours to change your tire (25 minutes real work), and if you want other cars that arrived behind you go first, this is your place. Awesome!

Cheapest oil change in town. I hate using them instead of a local shop, but when locals are charging more than double, I've got no choice. It's an oil change. $10 (wholesale) in oil and 20m in labor. Shouldn't be more than $40-45 and at Wal-Mart that's what you pay.

Do not waste your time here. Absolutely worst customer service ever. I waited 20 mins for someone to come help. The guy shrugged his shoulders and told me to park. Almost two hours my car hadn t been moved for a simple tire plug. I could plug my own tire but I bought a warranty. Other Walmart s are fine but not this one. Not enough employees and the ones they have move slow or not doing anything. There was only two younger guys actually doing all the hard work with a lot of unhappy people waiting. Poorly managed place.

Two hour wait for their "express" oil change, but was told it would only be about an hour. Was told it would be 5-6 hours to have our tired balanced and rotated. Decided to pass on the tire rotation this time, since a 6 hour wait with 2 kids under 5 isn't really feasible.

I pulled up to the back car service area, no one in front of me, waited for 35min. Not a soul came out to grab my keys, tell me to pull in the second bay which was empty, or tell me to just park. No signs telling me to park. So I waited and waited, not the first time, this unorganized department loves to waste their clients time. The last time I took it here, they took 40 min just to ring me up. Very unprofessional, sloppy, and inconsistent with their process. Never again, and I'll spread the word.

Bought a new car battery at the Auto Express section in the back, had a great experience! There was an older Hispanic lady that helped us out with testing the old battery to helping us find the new one- she really took care of us!! I love folks like this, that go beyond you typical customer service "smile" and go the extra mile to help and make a person feel warm and cared-for! This is not our local Walmart, but the way this employee made us feel, my son and I will gladly return! I just wish I knew here name and tell her a big THANK YOU!

The staff was great. This location didn't have my tire size in stock. They took their time to find what I needed. I recommend this tire shop

Had my EverStart battery checked here after getting a bad battery notice from the scan at AutoZone. The battery was barely 3 years old and my warranty covered 5 years. They told me all I needed to do was clean my battery with baking soda and take my car on the highway and rev the RPMs. I did that and asked them to re-test and they said my battery was fine. I went to work and after leaving the car off for about 3 hours, my battery was dead again. I took my car back at 7:30am the next morning and told the technician what happened. He was very rude and tested my battery again with the charge required notice coming up every time. Mind you my battery had already been charged 4 times in the last two weeks and had died on me a total of 5 times during that period requiring a jump. All the technician said he could do was charge my battery for me and that a warranty exchange was out of the question. When I told him I did not have time to charge it again and that it has not worked in the past and that I had to go to work in a few hours he said Well it looks like you re gonna be late then . I stormed right in and talked to the manager who agreed to swap my battery for a pro-rated fee. But this process ended up taking 4 hours total. I was late for work. I could not believe it took 4 hours for a battery swap. I watched several people get there after me and leave before me. My pleas to the auto cashier to ask how much longer things were going to take were only met by more rude attitude remarks and after a while I was ignored and walked away from. I had to get a storemanager to get things going. Now, fast forward to the following morning after my new battery has been installed: I get in my car to head to work and my new battery is dead. I get a jump and head straight to AutoZone and sure enough it s a bad battery. Codes come up that indicate a bad cell. I didn t even hesitate, I bought a Duralast from them and they installed it in 15 mins and re-tested all my starting components certifying everything was ok. I used to come to Walmart Auto a lot for tires, oil changes etc. but I would always have to clear my schedule because they would take forever. After this battery fiasco I can assure you that I will NEVER let this place touch my car again. Go to AutoZone, buy a Duralast, let AutoZone get you in and out fast.

Visited the Georgetown auto care center for a oil and filter change on 1/10/20 early morning. I was told that it was going to be at least a two hour wait as they were understaffed! There was only one person working the lube station. As the employee was explaining this to me, I noticed the service tech. joking and goofing off with fellow workers! I left and will not be back!
