In todays fast moving world, it is a challenge to find a doctor, dentist, attorney or auto mechanic that you have confidence in and can trust to have your best interests in mind. I'm still looking for a doctor, dentist and attorney, but I found that mechanic in Mr. Fix It's Kenny Vale. I contacted Kenny to get a quote on a brake job for my 2012 Kia. He quoted me a very fair price (compared to several other local shops) and we set an appointment for him to come to my house to make the repairs. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he was unable to keep the scheduled appointment. Instead of not showing up, Kenny kept me informed of his status and made it out at the next convenient time to complete the repairs. He replaced the rotors, pads etc. with the expertise and efficiency of someone who obviously has been doing auto repair for a long time. Kenny then test drove the vehicle to make sure everything was working as promised. He explained everything he had done and the parts replaced. I was so impressed with his expertise and professionalism, I asked him to look at another vehicle I had that needed a repair. He found a replacement part (of better quality than the OEM) and replaced that part on another visit. He also went out of his way to help us locate a set of missing keys. It is so refreshing to find someone of Kenny's honesty, integrity and professionalism in this "dog eat dog" world we live in. I highly recommend Mr. Fix It (Kenny Vale) for all your auto repairs. We will now be customers for life. Give him a try, you won't be disappointed!

Recently my windshield washer stopped working. I thought the lines were clogged with calcium deposits. But with Kenny's persistence & diagnostics, he discovered that the little pump had died.He found the part on Amazon - a Ford Motor Co product -- who knew? for a good price. I ordered the part & he kindly made another trip to install it for me.It works like a champ. I am one happy girl. Kenny went the extra mile to ensure that all was working properly & I was happy. His customer service is stellar.

Mr. Fix It (aka Kenny) was such a life saver for my family yesterday! I got off work one day went to Walmart to pick up a few things, came out to go home and my SUV wouldn't start. Thankfully I was able to get it pulled to my house but I had no idea what the problem was or how quickly I'd be able to get it fixed. We called many mobile mechanics and either they couldn't do the work in time, their prices were seriously out of our budget, or they were horribly unprofessional and didn't show up at all. We were at the end of our rope when my wonderful wife, (aren't we all grateful for those ) found Mr. Fix It online. We read reviews and felt comfortable about contacting him, so we did. We are so glad that we did!!! We called him and left a message, he promptly returned our effort to reach him with a text of his availability and pricing for our issue (that we were able to find out was a bad fuel pump). He made sure to find the best quality and most suitable part for our SUV as well as making sure to okay the price of it with us before buying it. There were two things that really sold my wife and I on Mr. Fix It being our mechanic for life, his communication and when he was searching for our part he asked me a question I'd never experienced someone asking me when fixing my car, and that was where my vehicle was built(or assembled I assume). It blew my mind that he was taking his time to be that thorough about finding the correct/best part for my vehicle. I was SOLD! HE DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB! By far the most honest and caring mechanic I've ever met. This man goes out of his way to help care for your car and not only that but informs you about your car. He is also looking for the most reasonable price for repairs whether you bought too many of the parts or repairing things such as a nail in your tire. If you ever need any help with your car please contact this man. By far the best and most reasonable mechanic I've ever met.

Looking for a great mechanic who knows his stuff at a fair price. I had a stubborn oxygen sensor that was downstream under the car by the catalytic converter. The nuts were rusted and the edges crumbled. Basically they were welded by the rust. I had no chance. He knew exactly what to do and got them off and finished everything in 1 hour.He is a super nice friendly guy and Honest. I highly recommend him! There is no stress if you call him!

Please, please, please - before you go to an auto repair shop - contact Kenny. He knows his stuff, but even more importantly, HE. IS. HONEST. If you've needed any work done lately, you know this is an increasingly rare trait in the auto repair business. No one else will EVER touch any car I own unless Kenny approves it first. He will tell you which parts to get - he tries to go with OEM whenever possible, but can also give you alternatives of you need something more affordable. His labor rates are also extremely fair. You have no reason not try give him a shot and every reason to let him help you first.P.S. there is not a lot he won't/can't do. So if you think he can't do it because it requires special equipment, like a cherry-picker, just ask him. (I did and he has one!) He won't say he can/will if he really doesn't. Again, He is truly an honest person.

I called around to 6 different mechanics and got varying amounts for the repair needed for my wife's car. Kenny was the only one that took the time to let me know exactly what was needed, and had a reasonable price. If you're still looking for someone to service your car, give this guy a ring/text.

If you want a honest, helpful and fair priced mechanic, reach out to mr fix it. He is mobile. I had an issue where I fixed something myself. But being a weekend warrior I ran into a problem. Mr fix it replied back fast with a. Very fair quote. Told him I would get the part, he directed me where to go since this part is not at every auto store. When it seems that auto repair is outrageous, its good to know that there are still good folks out there.

I have used his services twice now. The first to replace the oil pan and plug to stop leaking oil, and the second was to fix my brakes. Both times he has done an amazing job. He was quick, friendly, and professional. He easily explains why he is doing things and what particluar parts do. Plus, he charges less than a car shop and he can meet you at your place.

First of all, Kenny is a consummate professional. He did a great job of keeping me apprised to every step taken during our repair journey. Background: My '02 Jeep overheated and blew the top off of the radiator. I've never seen one split all the way across the top like that. He was able to help me by diagnosing all issues. There were several that came up during this breakdown. After the radiator and thermostat was replaced, it was still overheating. I knew these had to be fixed but also felt there was a different underlying issue. He did a block test and we found that there was combustion fumes in the coolant. This is indicative of a head gasket issue. He was able to get the head removed and take it to a machine shop for me. They tested and resurfaced the head. During this time it also gave me an opportunity to order all of my parts from Amazon Prime in order to save an extra couple hundred dollars over buying my parts at Autozone. Kenny was great in sending me the exact part numbers for the parts needed. We ended up replacing the radiator, head gasket, valve cover gasket, thermostat, intake manifold (he found a crack as he was removing the head), water pump and he changed the oil, replaced the spark plugs and put a new belt on for me. It was one week to the day since I broke down on the side of the road and I am back to driving my baby today. She runs better than ever. No sign of any overheating. He also found the actuator arm on my ac had broke off and fixed that real quick as well. I cannot sing his praises enough. I will continue to use his service and expertise on any thing that may come up in the future. If you need a good honest mechanic that will help you fix just what needs to be fixed without trying to upsell you, Kenny is a great asset to have in your contact list. I highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to get quality service at a fair price. Now it's time to go get the Jeep a little muddy! Thanks again Kenny for everything!!

Keneth is by far the most honest, helpful mechanic I have ever known. He has worked on both of vehicles. I honestly would not go somewhere else even if the service was free! Extremely stand up guy and will always do what is necessary to make it right. I appreciate a mechanic when they tell you how it is and not try to up sell your service. Great prices and great work.

Kenny was awesome. I have been in Austin for 2yrs and have not found a mechanic convenient and helpful as Kenny. He replaced 2 belts on my Hyundai. Thank you again Kenny. Will definitely use Kenny again when needed.

This guy is great! He has been there when I needed a good mechanic. I have an 06 chevy trailblazer and he helps me keep it running in top shape. His prices are very reasonable, he stands behind his work so if something happens he will gladly come take a look at ur vehicle at no cost to you and he is very knowledgeable about vehicles period. I recommend him to anyone. I know you will be satisfied!On my truck I have had everything from major work to minor work and everything in between so he can do it all.

He came and diagnosed the problem in minutes. Didn't try to bs me and waste my time or money. Told me exactly what parts to get and made a second trip out to install it all in the same day. Was prompt, efficient, friendly, honest and quickly responded to my questions and text. Diagnosed and Fixed an ignition switch and ignition switch actuator on an 01 jeep cherokee in about 1 1/2 hours. Highly recommend. He also backs up his work if something goes wrong.
