I have loved staying at this RV park. The grounds are always kept clean and the owners make you feel right at home. This was just what I needed. Not to mention I captured some of the best sunsets here. The location is easy to find and I love the fact that it s gated. No matter if you are looking for a short vacation or a place to call home you will not be disappointed. Thank yall for everything -Andie

The host was very helpful and guided us get into our pull through spot after I initially missed the turn. This RV Park is on a large plateau with plenty of spacious sites. The weather was cloudy during our visit, but I bet the night sky is normally awesome to view there. WiFi was strong and fast. This is definitely a good overnight stop.

We stayed here almost six months. This place is wonderful. The owners Don and Renee are so nice and helpful. It is a pet friendly park and very peaceful. There is a laundry mat available. Deer sightings almost daily, and we even saw a bald eagle soaring over the lake! Cannot say enough nice things about this place. Highly recommend staying here.

This RV resort is fantastic! We stayed for 3 months. If you are looking for a place that is peaceful and has beautiful views, then this is it. The owners are so sweet and treat you like family. I have recommended to all my nurse travel friends. Only a 10 min drive to the hospital in Nacogdoches. Easy to get in and out with our 43 ft 5th wheel, large lots! Will definitely be back when in town visiting.

Mr Don and Mrs Renee are very wonderful folks and I can t say enough on how great they made our stay there was! It s very peaceful, clean, easy to setup on the camp sites, updated, beautiful view of the lake and all the property and the fishing was good as well! As I travel for work I only wish most RV sites were as great as this one! I highly recommend it even if it s for a one night stay or for a couple months as we did. Thank you Mr Don and Mrs Renee for make us feel welcomed on your place and treating us like family. If ever we are passing thru there we will definitely stay again!

Renne and Don are the best!We stayed here for 5 and a half months and wish we could stay longer. It's very quiet and kept very nice at all times. The laundromat is a big bonus for those who don't have one or for those who don't want to travel into town. It is the perfect place for pets. There is plenty of room to walk around or sit down by the lake to fish or eat lunch. The owners will help with anything and are always able to contact! 10/10 campground!

We Loved our RV space for the 11 months we were in this area of Texas. ...even now we miss waking up to our view of the beautiful lake. ..we miss Don & Renee the owners...they made us feel like family. ....this place is a hidden treasure. ..peaceful gated upscale property. ....up on the hill from our space our view consisted of 3 Beautiful log Cabins with porches that overlook the catch & release lake. ....they also have furnished for the quest everything they need at the campsites. ......at times I wish I could go to sleep again & wake up early and see the deer that cross the rolling landscape of this property. .before we left we watched at a distance a mother deer giving birth to her new born fawn. ....my husband enjoyed watching the squirrels stealing the seeds out of our bird feeder. ..........Don & Renee we will never forget your Beautiful Resort Hope one day our journey leads us there again. ...BLESS YOU BOTH !

Just got married here on December 15, 2018. The venue is spacious and can accommodate a variety of layouts. Renee was excellent in making sure we had the access we needed. The dressings rooms were spectacular. Plenty of bathroom space for large groups (often overlooked but very important detail)!Excellent but not overpowering sound system with wifi capabilities . Plenty of kitchen space, coolers and warming cabinet.And.... if you uphold your end of the bargain and do a decent clean up, they are fair about returning the deposit.Highly recommend Eagle's Nest Hidden Lake Resort.

This place was amazing! Such a relaxing place with beauty all around. We stayed in a cabin that was everything we needed and then some. The fishing was fun and the lake was fun to play in. We really enjoyed sitting on the beautiful front porch, watching lightning bugs. The owners were so kind and accommodating. They really care about their guests and their stay. I would highly recommend this gem!

Eagles Nest is a beautiful and quiet place to park your RV! This resort is tucked away in the beautiful piney woods of deep east Texas. You have the quietness of the countryside but are close enough to town for all of your essentials. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating. RV spots are level and roomy enough for our 40ft fifth wheel camper. The lake onsite is definitely a plus. Will be staying here again when we are in the area!

Wonderful, accommodating hosts, and a nice view from the RV sites. It's an easy drive from Nacogdoches so going back and forth between events on campus and the campsite was no big deal. We will definitely be back. AxeEm Jacks!

100% false advertisement. While there are some cabins and about 4 RV spots in the shades of the piney trees that over look a private lake, the 20 RV spots that are available are in the blistering sun about 15 feet off of Hwy 59. The road noise is horrible. There is no shade. Spots are narrow and un-level.The cabins may be nice. The four RV spots that over look the lake may be nice. I m sure that the 5 star reviews were left by people who got what was advertised. We did not get close to what was advertised. Our experience was horrible. I will never stay here again. The majority of the RV spots are not even close to the pics or advertisements on the websites.

We haven't actually stayed at the resort yet. We made reservations for the end of April 2022 on February 7th. Within 24 hours we realized we had reserved the wrong resort. When we tried to cancel our reservations, we were told our 50% reservation fee was non-refundable. With more than 60 days until our stay was to begin and within 24 hours of making the reservations, we were charged over $250. It may be a great place but be careful when making reservations. I've never heard of a cancellation policy like this.

This place is beautiful. The owners Don and Renee are wonderful people......and Renee was such a huge help with directions getting here. The park is very well maintained.....and very peaceful. I highly recommend this place....you won't be sorry!!!!UPDATE- I was unable to return home because of Hurricane Harvey and my bank account was nearly zero. Don and Renee allowed me to continue my stay until the highways into Freeport reopened. They are the kindest and most thoughtful people I've met in years!!! God bless both of them!!

If you are looking for a great family getaway, this is the place to go!! We were warmly welcomed by the owners Don and Renee. This place is absolutely beautiful and it's a short drive from Huntsville with lots to do - paddle boats, canoes, fishing, swimming, etc... with cabins for rent, RV sites, a huge gathering facility for rent and a bed & breakfast. We will be recommending to all our family and friends

Nice overnight park. It s relatively new park. There aren t very many spots. There is a lake but we didn t use it. It is next to hwy 59 but we didn t hear any noise. Quiet at night. I give them 4 stars because they don t have very many RV amenities like cable or WiFi which are normally included for the price range they charge. Our ATT hotspot worked great at 20mbps. You do get about 7 or 8 local OTA channels. One complaint is that the well water is brown. I suspect it s because it s new. No problem for showering but we used bottle water.Lastly, the owners are SUPER nice. This is why we will stay here again. We fulltime so we stay at hundreds of parks and this one is a solid 4 to 4.5 stars.

I've stayed in my RV at Eagle Nest Hidden Lake Resort for the past seven months. I cannot say enough good things about the place and the owners. Truly, if there's a bad review, they obviously haven't stayed here. Keep up the good work.

Stayed here for a three day weekend and loved it. The RV pads are nice, wide and level. The views across the lake from the RV sites on the hill are breathtaking. The owners Mr. and Mrs. Billingsley were very accommodating and friendly. I would defiantly make this a repeat stop. Thank you!

Found this place while planning a weekend fishing trip at Lake Naconiche with some co-workers. All I can say is I'll definitely be heading back there in the future. One thing I love about this place is it's less than 10 minutes from Lake Naconiche. (That lake is a bass fisherman's dream) This place has great cabins and numerous RV spots. There's also a nice pond (mini-lake actually) on the premises where you can fish, kayak, and swim. It's stocked with Largemouth, Crappie, Bluegill and Catfish. It's a strict C&R pond. The cabin we stayed in will house a small family comfortably. The cabins come with fully functioning kitchens (with dishes and cookware) and are kept cool in the summer with multiple air conditioners. Renee (one of the owners) is always available to answer questions or provide you with help to insure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. If you're looking to getaway for the weekend, this is the place to stay. You'll enjoy the comfort and great scenery.

Sweet serenity. From the initial drive in to the early morning on the porch. When you take that second bend as you drive in the view ia breath taking. My daughter and I sat there and took a million pictures which do not do it justice. This has got to be one of the most beautiful pieces of properties in East Texas. The views I could sit there and just take it in all day long. Every morning I could not wait to get out of bed (not at all a morning person) just to enjoy a nice cup of coffee on the porch over looking the lake. The birds singing the wind blowing the trees. Like your own little slice of heaven. The lake the morning we left was so still it looked like glass with the beauitful reflection of all the surrounding trees. The cabin was so cute and so clean. Towels so soft. Everything was perfect. Owners were so nice and accommodating. The place is very new and has plenty of growth opportunities. We will definitely be back. Great place to get away and just relax. Definitely no stress there.

Best RV park in the Nacogdoches area. Great views and well kept grounds. Lake for fishing and canoeing. No laundry or bathhouse for rvers but the cleanliness and views make up for that . RV sites are all easy pull in with full hook up . Owners are the friendliest people .3 cabins on property to rent and reception hall that is gorgeous .

I have to brag on this place for a minute! On Wednesday night about 9pm my husband and I were stranded on hwy 59 in Garrison,Tx. After our truck overheated and caught on fire for the 2nd time since starting our trip home from Waskom. The transmission overheated and the overflow caused a fire on the goods insulation. We made phone calls to all of the surrounding RV parks but they were all closed. My last call was Eagle Nest RV park. These folks not only answered the phone call but waited for us to eat dinner at a Mexican restaurant close by. We finally dragged into the park about 10pm and they were actually at the gate waiting for us to guide us to our spot.We really didn't get to look around until the morning. The place was BEAUTIFUL! I so appreciated everything they did for us and wanted to share with you their website. They were our knight in shining armor! The owner even called me later to make sure that we made it home safely. True caring people..
