Ethan provided excellent customer service went above and beyond. He swapped my battery with no problem didn t have mine in stock but got one there before I arrived. Truly, first class customer service highly recommend this store to handle any of your vehicle services. Thank you Ethan

they charged me $35 to do what every other shop does for free, I though by coming to a well known place that I would get a better answer or a mechanic that actually cared. Then i got charged a fee for using shop supplies which you would think would be in their fee they charged to check the car. The guy in the front was rude when i approached him about it and say to call or go online he is not the one who adds that fee.

I have serviced my car at this place many times in the past, and the manager and customer-facing employees have always been very nice, providing excellent service. However, during my recent visit after scheduling an appointment, I encountered a person named Robert who displayed a concerning attitude. He raised his voice, was rude, and lacked product/service knowledge, making it difficult to get straightforward answers.When I inquired about an estimate for AC repair related to a specific issue, Robert responded by yelling, "I don't know; it depends on the issue." Seeking more clarity, I asked about a minor leak or the cost of refilling refrigerant, and once again, he yelled, "It can be $1000, $2000..." Clearly, he either lacked knowledge or simply didn't care. At that point, I felt compelled to leave without leaving my car for service, as his behavior was not only rude but also unsettling, especially when providing exorbitant figures for a specific repair like a minor leak and AC refrigerant refill.I believe Pepboys needs to address this issue promptly. Such treatment of customers may lead to business losses and the alienation of regular customers.

I had went in to this location to have my car looked at 2 weeks ago and as I walked in, there was a worker standing in the doorway behind the desk yelling at the gentleman behind the desk. I did not feel comfortable staying there at all. I couldn't see the workers name but he had a very heavy accent. I needed my check engine light looked into, but decided it was safer for me to just leave. I was not the only customer that left. I went back today to see if they could look at my car as I figured that the worker would not be employed anymore as anywhere else would have fired them. Well as I pulled into the driveway the work was still there, so I turned around and left. I feel I'm better off going to firestone at this time. This saddens me as I had my car worked on a couple time and felt I had found a trust worthy mechanic as they have a new master tech that knows what he is doing. I may try again in a few months but doubt it.

Pep Boys have changed their Service Department since my last visit. They were quick and very efficient. They kept me informed of the status of my vehicle. They sent pictures of their findings as they found them. From the battery voltage to my brakes. Very through very quick and no complaints about my bill. It was all laid out so anyone could understand the billing. Overall great job guys.

Robert was very helpful with providing above and beyond customer service with the installation of our tires. He greeted us by name for our appointment, offered to get us a rideshare when we dropped off our Ford Edge Limited for new tires. He and his technicians are very knowledgeable about the tire brands that they sell and install. We are absolutely pleased with receiving the best price point on the Cooper tires, professionally mounted, balanced, TPM programmed, and properly torqued. The alignment services were recommended and performed to precise factory specifications.A++ for customer care, knowledge of their products and services, explaining warranties and Road Hazard coverage.Great people to work with at this Garland, Texas Pep Boys!

I came to have my car balanced, but they said the tires need to be changed after showing me how damaged the tires were. They quote me everything before proceeding. I left because I only brought couple hundreds along. They kindly let me leave without charging any fee. Honest and kind. I will come back

I called and asked if they could provide the service of replacing the bulb in my back tail light and they said they could. I asked if I needed to make an appointment and the service person told me to come on in and they would work me in. And they did !! Got it fixed at a reasonable price and I was on my way. Thank you Pep Boys for your great service.

Took 2 hours to replace my truck tires with no other customers in the shop. Had 1 guy working in the shop while the 2 "managers" sat inside talking to each other.

Excellent service at this Pep Boys. I had a dead battery and they got me a new one installed on my 2015 Ford Escape. I will be back for any future car service on my vehicle.

They were very thorough on my car and did an amazing job on the repairs. My only problem with this experience was that they need to improve on their inner office communication skills as I would get several calls from them explaining the car wasn't done or another issue was detected and that they would look into it if I wanted. Then a few minutes later another would call saying that repairs were completed and it was ready for pick up when I would mention the other issue that had been found they would not be aware of it. So communication needs to be addressed and maybe they should have only one person to address issues about a vehicle to the customer that way they will be knowledgeable on what's going on with said repairs instead of several people contacting the customer with a different diagnosis.

Absolutely the worst place to go! Stay far away from this shop free tire rotation never happens they won t change your filter waiting times are thru the roof why even book an appointment if you re gonna wait over the expected time. Upper management is an absolute joke not my job not my problem no wonder they stopped selling parts. You can get better service at a jiffy lube and that s saying a lot!

Made an appointment to get tires balanced and rostered for 11 am. At 1pm I asked them how long it was going to be bc my car hadn t even moved out of the parking lot. They said they d get on it right then! I waited for another hour and it never moved. Finally left. Super disappointed.

2.5 hours for an oil change, and they weren t busy. Apparently didn t have my filter in stock, and had to get it brought over. I understand that, but there was no communication about it. Just me sitting around.

My rear lights were not functioning. I had anticipated it would be a 500 hundred dollar or more repair but the technicians at Pep Boys were honest and discovered it was a minor circuit replacement that ended up being under 100 dollars. I am glad that I have found auto mechanics that I can trust to do the job at a fair price. Excellent service. Would strongly recommend Pep Boys.

This was my second time trying to get an oil change. They never can get me in for some reason. I assume short handed. The guy at the desk just looked at me like all stressed. I asked for oil change he said try coming back around 4pm. He had many cars he had not even written up. Every place that I have ever gotten an oil change has one bay just for fast oil changes, your in your out. The first time I get but I tried two months later and its the same store. I would assume being a national company it would be much better service.

I had an absolutely amazing visit here today! I cannot recommend visiting here enough after my experience today. I called in shortly after open with an emergency and Nathan answered the phone to help me. He was so polite and knowledgeable and able to give me some sense of security in bringing my car in. Having the auto parts store next door was a life saver and helped me save some money too. I was there for a about 45 minutes and Nathan made sure to check in with me throughout the process and keep me updated in their progress. Overall it was a great and unexpected visit that left with me feeling confident the problem had been fixed.

Got a flat tire on a brand new Mazda Miata on a Sunday, May 21, 2023, on my way home to Houston. As this was one of the few places open on a Sunday, I drove here hoping they could patch the tire. Unfortunately, the tire wasn't repairable, and they didn't have an exact match. I was really worried I would have to delay my return and have it towed; however, the gentleman working the counter tried hard to get us something that would at least get us home. He was able to find a tire a little larger, but it worked. He really saved my bacon! :) They got the tire changed fast, and I was out and on my way within 45 mins after arriving. Not only did he help us out while there, he also called again the following Monday to ensure we made it home OK! That was really going above and beyond. While I wound up having to buy another tire the following day to match what was originally there, I was just glad to get home. Couldn't have done it without the crew at this Pep Boys!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. I came in because the control arm in my car was broken. I trusted this establishment because it s a big chain and the receptionist seemed caring. They then tell me all these other unnecessary problems and that the fix would be 1,500$. Which I obviously declined and took it somewhere else, but when I told them that I was taking my car they had a horrible attitude and even cussed my husband thinking he wouldn t hear. This place is literally a SCAM. I ended up paying 320$ to fix my car at this other mechanic.

10/10 would recommend. They guy at the front was so nice and both Chuks and the assistant manager were very accommodating. Very trustworthy, very helpful and Foxy, my car, is running so smoothly! Definitely recommend coming here 100%!

My wife took in her car to get it checked out from the right front side suspension. They gave her an estimate of 1500$ saying that a whole bunch of stuff needed to be replaced. I was shocked at the price and went there myself to pick it up and take it to another mechanic. The guy in the front , Rob I believe was his name, gave me such a dirty look and was talking to me with an attitude when I said I declined the services. I took it to other mechanics and they all told me that all was needed to be replaced was the control arm which ended to be around 300$. Either these guys are a bunch of crooks or like taking advantage of women. Dont waste your time here.

I normally would not have stopped into a Pep Boys. I was concerned about the noise my car was making. I am very glad I stopped in. They took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with my car. There was NO PRESSURE to use them. Even when I told them I needed to think about it. I went home, thought about it and came back. They were very gracious and very quick. I was incredibly happy with the work and the service. Because of the staff there, I will definitely use Pep Boys again.

I unexpectedly caught a FLAT and it was late evening through the week like maybe on a Thursday evening. However, everyone was closed or closing and it was raining out. I called Pep Boys on NW Hwy. & 635 and they were about to close also. The representative told me if I could make it there, they'd help me and that's exactly what they did. I commend the whole team for staying late to help me out. I didn't have a spare and I was on my way home to Lancaster. These guys were a GODSEND...Thanks, Jesse Johnson
