Bob did a great jobs, fast, and very details. Not only that, but Bob really knowledge about cars that he gave me really good tips on how to care of the car afterwards. I hit a little snag at one point, but we got everything cleared up and the end result was amazing. I was frustrated with the lack of communication because I was anxious to get my car back as soon as possible. Once Jimmy and I came to an understanding, everything from that point on was fabulous. I absolutely love my paint job, the cosmetic work is awesome and overall I am extremely satisfied with the quality and appearance. I would definitely recommend Maaco to my friends and family.

Terrible place they left my car looking like they put it back together with extra screws they had laying around their shop. Also the bumper they replaced didn t really line up with the car and the sensors they put sometimes work and sometimes they dont my car wasnt in a major accident just small fender bender. I am now having to pay out of pocket to repair the poor job they did on my vehicle stay away from this shop

Bob and his team knocked it out of the park! As the original owner, this is the longest relationship I ve been in . Lots of great times and memories with Old Red! Bob is THE MAN! He listened to what I wanted and made spot on recommendations that worked wonderfully . Hello, we got back a second car that my family and I have had painted at this Garland TX Maaco location. I don't like leaving negative reviews!Everything I am posting here is the truth and can be backed up by evidence. Dropped the car off on 4/22/2019. The first car that we had painted there Approx. three years ago turned out amazing and it's paint is holding up nicely. I was expecting the same quality to be done with the second car we sent in to be painted. Well that was not the case for the second car.My family and I picked up the car on 4/26/2019 and overall it looked good at first glance. Before they brought the car out they had sprayed it down with water so there was water dripping and water spots all over it. My family and I were there at time of picking up the car, a total of four witnesses! Robert H. the salesperson mentioned he did not like how well this car turned out compared to the first car we had painted by them. He said this in front of my family. He later has denied saying it! If he did not like it then he should have made it right before having us come all that way to pick it up. We live in Athens Texas and it is Approx. 2 hour drive there and back. Overall it didn't look all that bad at first glance. The guy that drove the car out to us didn't appear to speak a word of English and was rude.Whoever painted our first car three years ago was a great painter and I wish that painter was the one who painted our second car. We drove two hours back home and realized on the passengers-side door there were two good sized paint runs under where the door handle is. Also there are paint runs on the front bumper, rear bumper, passengers-side fender and roof. The rest of the car their is no amount of buffing and polishing will fix it. On the drivers side door above the handle is someones hand and palm prints when they touched the paint when it was still tacky. There are also paint streaks on the roof, hood and spoiler area of the car, due to the gravity feed paint gun not being adjusted correctly. Maaco of Garland Texas is wanting to blame us since all we did was sand the car down and prime it for paint. This car has a straight body and was garage kept the majority of the time since we've owned it.Robert H., the salesperson said due to the body prep and the primer we used it was causing it to soak up too much of the paint and that is why there are paint streaks. The interesting thing is I used the same primer and techniques on the first car as I did on the second car. The first car we had them paint three years ago turned out great. Even in the receipt we were charged $99.95 for universal sealer / primer that was suppose to be sprayed on the car before painting it. If they used the sealer then there should not have been any issues with the paint being soaked up by the primer. So it's our fault there are paint runs, streaks and a persons hand and palm prints in the paint etc... This business refuses to take responsibility for anything they do and place blame onto the customer.If we lived closer we would gladly take the car back to them to fix it. On second thought, the real question is will we trust them to do a good job repairing the car they messed up/destroyed. My answer is no, i'm sorry to say. All trust with these people and this business have been broken. Their quality has gone down hill. What I see happening is they are hiring people to do the body and paint work at this location that don't know what they are doing or simply don't care. Sorry Maaco you've lost customers and our third car that will need painting coming up since the clear coat is coming off we will take elsewhere! In order to repair the car you all destroyed is going to require paint stripper and the paint to be completely removed all the way to the metal to fix it. The bumpers sanded down and the entire car primed and repainted. More time and money out the window! Currently working on getting a full refund and are getting the run around!

My husband and I have used this location twice.. both times the team has been great! This 2nd time Bob made it a pleasant experience. Bob was honest upfront and professional. Bob went above and beyond to meet our expectations and made sure to guide us us in making sure we didn t choose something that would not look good and we would later regret. Bob s team did an amazing job with patching up and painting my husband s corvette. Jimmy is also welcoming and knowledgeable. Would recommend. We don t live close to this location but it s worth passing other places and even other maccos for the work and service from their team. Thank you Bob and team!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Took my 2002 Pontiac Firebird to get my hood aligned and fitted properly. Bob was very knowledgeable in what he explained to me about these cars, and the guy(s) that worked on my car did a fantastic job of lining up and fitting my hood properly. They even washed or rinsed the car for me from the looks of it. Only reason I m giving it 4/5 stars was that they forgot the bolts used for my headlight bezels were in my cup holder and I m sure they lost one of them for the passenger side bezel and replaced the bolts with different ones. Which is fine I just ended up ordering some new GM bezel bolts to replace all of them instead. But overall I m really happy with their work and would recommend coming and giving them a chance!Service: Body & Trim

Reading some of the reviews, from each and every shop. And theres shops scattered all over Central America. And maaco has been in business for45- 50yrs. Half of them are 4-5 star reviews. And Half of them are 1-2 star reviews. Taking my car to the local maaco shop where i live and get it painted for $900 i'm trying to make up my mind or not. Most good body shops that have a good reputation charge $3500-$4000 for a professional paint job.

I was thinking about buying a shiny new car but I didn't want to get stuck with monthly $500 car payments for the next 5 years, so I decided to have my old 2003 Honda Accord painted instead. The Accord had almost 200k miles on it but ran great. I figure I had another 100k miles to go. It just looked horrible because the paint was peeling off all over. I hired Maaco to make the Accord look respectable and I was actually surprised to find that the paint job made it almost look like a new car! They even buffed the headlights! Overall, I am happy with my paint job. A bumper to bumper paint job for under $2k is very hard to beat. They matched the paint to my old color and there were few defects in the paint. I had to take it back to have some ripples in the clear coat buffed out. I also had an issue with one side of the windshield trim coming loose and what appeared to be spear coat sprayed on one of the door handles. Mike was very accommodating and helpful but unfortunately they were not able to fix the trim or remove the glossy finish on the door handle (reason for rating 4 stars instead of 5). I would definitely recommend this Maaco to friends and family who are needing an inexpensive paint job.

They are very expensive. They do a good job, not a great job but a good job. If you find any defects after the paint job, good luck trying to get them to fix it, they just tell you "well its not going to be perfect. Lucky for me I don't accept that, so I disputed my credit card and got my money back.

Bob is the best! He was thorough documenting the job, gave us a very fair price, and communicated well with me from the day I walked in. Ask for Bob!Only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is because of Jimmy, and the quality of some rework he rushed.I would definitely recommend this shop, as long as Bob sticks around.

I was a first time customer of Maaco. I was highly sceptical because over the years there has been what some would refer to as"cheap" looking or tacky paint jobs based on lower price points, but let me honestly say that Mike and the guys did a wonderful job on my vehicle and I am well pleased, again, also at a great price. They were very punctual and cost efficient and my automobile looks great. I highly recommend their services.

I went to Maaco looking for a quick turnaround, decent quality, and affordable paint job of front and back bumpers for a truck. Bob provided a quote for the job while also describing the different options available without pushing an upselling agenda. This was much appreciated since I knew exactly what I wanted. The work was completed in the time frame promised with a high quality result. I didn't quite get the name of the technician who performed the work (Laz?), but I'm certainly happy with all aspects of the result (turnaround time, good quality, and affordable). If this is a standard result, then I'll be using this Maaco for auto-related body and paint needs in the future.Service: Painting

I went to get an estimate at this location and the guy that helped me was respectful and treated me like a human being. He had a bad leg and still went out with me to look at my car which I respect. He was professional and gave me a printed out estimate that I am still considering since the price was a little high.

I had finally bought a car I truly loved and a few weeks later, I had an accident. I remembered Maaco painting my first car, a VW with a bullet hole in the fender, and I went back to Maaco. Four days later I had back the car of my dreams which is a gorgeous metallic red from Mazda. It is just as good as new! Just ask for Jimmie!Service: PaintingService: Painting

I went in with my bumper to be painted, I don't know who hit my car and so insurance wasn't really an option for me. The damage was really minor and the bumper just needed to be re-painted. Maaco charged me a very reasonable price for this. They even let me just leave my bumper there, so I was still able to drive my car to work. First I had gone to my dealership's collision center and they wanted $1,900 for something so minor. I'm glad I left there and came to Maaco. The people there are really nice. No BS place. If it happens again I know where to go.

AVOID THIS PLACE! DO NOT GO HERE! I took my car to get a new bumper installed and painted. Bob told me the process would take 1-2 business days. After the second day I called and they told me they will call me back! They did not call back! This place does not follow up with their customers. They will lie and say that they will call u back and they dont. I had to call them ! It took them over 2 weeks just to install a bumper and paint it. Ok, so now I have picked my car up after its been over 2 weeks and now my lights are not working! Bob tried to lie and say it was an error on my end and then he tried to get me to pay for it to be fixed when they are the ones who messed my lights up because when I took my car to them my lights was working fine ! Customer service is horrible! They won t call u back and they will continue to lie to u telling u your car will be ready and it won t be !If I could give 0 stars I would!

This Maaco location is awesome! Always speak to Bob. He will notate EXACTLY what needs to be done thoroughly so, the workers are able to establish the exact repairs. They finished my vehicle in an EXTREMELY timely manner. I dropped my vehicle off 2 hours before their closing time Tuesday evening, and got my vehicle back as beautiful as ever Friday morning. I believe it starts with accurate documenting of the vehicle, that way the individuals behind the scene know what to do. I pay attention to the ant sized details, and they nailed it. I knew Bob was a great person when I saw he had a liking to fish and CATS! :-) Very much pleased, I also received an OUTSTANDING price. "They got er done!" This will be my location for my vehicle repairs from now on. March 24, 2017. Thank you Bob, and also, the workers behind the scene. I surely appreciate you!

Horrible service, I brought my 2009 Mercedes in and was expecting Jimmy to give me an estimate on how much it s gonna cost me, I brought it in and always called him to check up on the car to my surprise he never looked at the car to see if anything was wrong with it I was so disappointed and dissatisfied and would not recommend anyone to take their vehicles there at all.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I'm seeing some people had some bad experiences, and I can understand why, but I took my 2004 mustang up to Maaco and they had it done within 3 days. It looks absolutely brand new compared to the awful shape it was in before. Bob was very helpful and gave me a fantastic deal on the paint job. I'm very happy with the results
